I did see a few mullets. It wasn't too bad getting in. I'd say about 15 minutes of traffic. And yeah it's North of the Speedway and Concord Mills. Easiest way is I-485 to Hwy 49 North and after you pass Hwy 601 it's 3 miles on the left. The "site" doesn't just randomly decide to shuffle for your photos around or post them twice. YOU decide what order they are presented and what photos appear in your TR. And how is it that it "won't let you delete them?" You can also go in and edit the photos or delete the duplicates. That's why the "edit" button should appear when you view your own posts. Oh, heck, nevermind...I'll do it for you! The site has nothing to do with it. --Robb Dude I was just kidding. I know the last one wasn't the sites fault. On the duplicates... Actually I did try to delete the duplicates, but the site wouldn't let me. It would delete a pic before or after it and then make a duplicate again of the one I was trying to delete. Weird I know.

Last night I hit the Cabarrus (pronounced ca-BEAR-us) County Fair. Cabarrus County is one county north of Charlotte. Unfortuantley Charlotte hasn't had a county fair in years. On to the fair... After my one and only ride on one of these where I felt like I'd fall out I swore them off. I'm not willing to die so I can get a credit. Wait... Quadzilla that actually works? LOL The one at Pedroland sure doesn't. Not sure exactly what this was. It reminded me of a Zamperla kite flyer. Woohoo! It's one of those crazy tilty ones! This thing was so much fun. It flipped 5 times straight, then tilted slowly flipped 5 times then went back straight and flipped 5 times again! Great program. James might have even liked it! I love top spins and thought this was just a normal one until... Hmmm...which way did my husband go? These were the haunted mansion cars. Notice the Tampa Bay Bucs theming. Notice Gollum on the ride... I'll get you my precious!!! By far the worst haunted house I've been on. It was down-right boring. Drop Tower! Yes! This was a fun little drop tower. Course I haven't been on one yet that I disliked. I had never seen one of these before. It looked pretty fun, but I was ready for the bigger flats... Cha Ching!!! Yes I did get the credit. My 3rd Wacky Worm credit. Woo hoo! Is that the Two Towers from Lord of the Rings? I think I saw Gollum go by. Hmmm...which way is the Midway? Wait...am I at Six Flags? Oh, it's just the line to get a ticket. Here's the view from the road/parking lot. Hmmm...I see lots of flats but no coasters. Oh joy. Traffic. I had to sit in traffic for about a mile just to get in the place. Grrrrrr! I'm the angry cotton candy!!! Another shot of the Wave Swinger. You're welcome German-speaking barrell! It was ok. It had like fake floors and stuff that would fall and stuff you had to walk over and such. This funhouse must have started life in Germany. Tom...care to translate? When I think of authentic Cheesesteaks I think of a NC Fair! I think I dated her one time. And finally...sorry Elissa I looked all over the place for some rodents but coudln't find any. I guess you'll have to settle for Rodney and Robb. I don't want to even think about where this has been. Grrrr...I'm the Claw! Gimme some people to eat!

Labor Day came and I headed to the park for a few hours with my trusty Cybershot. Hmmm... this looks familiar. What does that sign spell? Carolina Cyclone THROUGH THE MIST! The Tartus made a stop at Hurler since it wasn't running. Trash Can: The Ride. Sadly Hurler didn't come up while I was at the park. OH NO! IT'S GUY!!!! In a speedo no less!!! Kim where are you when we need you!?! Let's see who are the people on the wall... Mmmmmm. B&M goodness. As you can see the place was PACKED. Watch out for flying Vekomas when landing your Borg ship. Poor little guys. I don't know what they did to deserve this. Garrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I'm the Flying Dutchman! Gimme some candy! Snappage = good. Vekomas and Intamin through the trees! Well there were a few folks in the queue after all. Top Gun had a HUGE line. I was expecting to get some inside information on 2007 from the Dippin' Dots guy, but sadly he didn't show up. I'm an ACEr as well. I agree. I've heard from several people that they've been to events and had people act like coaster snobs to them. Oh, well you haven't been on 400 coasters?!? Well don't even talk to me. I've been on every Python Pit between here and timbukto!!! Overall my experience has been a good one. Maybe Southern ACEers are just better. I go to the Carowinds event every year and it's like a big family reunion. No drama, no attitudes, just people that love coasters (and food). I've been to an event at Dollywood and one at SFOG, both were fine. Not really that many snobs in the bunches.

Well at least I got the 2 credits the other year. It's no big loss. Definetley not much more than a step up or two from Pedroland. I doubt they will even change the website. lol It still has the coasters listed.

You guys should have filmed Beer Fest. This was a lot more entertaining than that movie ever will be (not that I would ever go see it). ^^^ Isn't that were they filmed the Marilyn Monroe movie "Some like it hot"??

I find this pretty hillarious overall. I'm sure Lee would probably not approve of the park. But I guess we'll never know. It just doesnt' seem like something he would like. Chuck would never come. He's too busy filming informercials.
