And another one bites the dust. You can tell how often I go to the mall (never). I didn't even know it had closed. I saw you Saturday but never could catch up with you and say hello. So how was the fair? Did you get both credits?

Sunday I was at the park and it was PACKED. They had $10 all ride wristbands all day. It was insane crowded. But the lines weren't too fad. Haunted Hotel took about the longest at about 30 minutes. I got to ride almost everything I wanted and then some. Hurricane is a piece of junk!!! They have let it fall apart and as far as I'm concerned it can be burned to the ground. Look for a HUGE photo TR coming soon (after I get some sleep).

From what I've heard they are going to do a major overhaul of the park and are already working on it. If we're talking S&S I'd rather see a 200 ft power tower on top of the mountain! Talk about scary! Call it Six Shooter.

I don't know if this has ever been asked, but I did search and couldn't find anything. So how did the whole Shark Tums thing start? Wasn't it your gerbel or something? With all of your videos I've watched it's all blending together at this point.

^ Sounds like what happened with Pedroland. The ladies father passed away and she took over and hasn't bothered to do anything with the park but let it rust.

Of course I never rode it, but I'm always sad to see any old coaster go. Now if it sucked or wasn't that good, then it's no big loss. I just hate to see any coaster get the axe (literally).

The one at Carowinds didn't go anywhere either. Just a big circle. It was actually planned to tie into an on-site hotel, but the hotel never happened.

What type of ride was the Pirate ride? Carowinds used to have one called Black Beard's Revenge where you sat on a bench in the middle of a room and the room spinned around you slowly so that it looked like you were on a ship. It spun all the way around until you saw the skeleton's and treasure in the bottom of the boat. lol I miss that ride. The A/C was awesome!!!

Skyline in Florida? NOT FAIR!!!! We actually have one local place here in Charlotte that does a 5-way/4-way but it's still not perfect. The chili doesn't taste exactly right, but hey at least I have something close by.

Yikes! 10 hours roundtrip was bad enough for me, I can't imagine 14.

Yeah you really can't eat it by itself like a normal chili. Skyline chili is great in the stores. Basically you have it poured over sphagetti (My favorite) and then put mounds of shredded cheese on top. Yummy! Most frozen versions of stuff aren't that great in general. The frozen White Castles aren't anywhere near as good as fresh ones at a restaurant.

I can't believe Guy hasn't posted in here yet. He's probably bouncing off the wall with excitement.

A Carraba's that closes at 9:30??? What's up with that!!! I think I might have to go to Florida during hurricane season next time. lol

Hopefully the Atlantic will be free and clear this weekend (of hurricanes). I'm planning on going there on the 17th for the final time. It's so sad.
