OJ Simpson TV Interview - Cancelled
bgwfreak replied to krazekiddd's topic in Random, Random, Random
He's insane. It's just going to make everyone think he did it even more. If I didn't kill my wife, why would I even consider how I "could" have?? It's just insane! -
I have loved this series since the first season (the new version). It's not your typical sci-fi show and there's a lot in there to think about each week. Any fans out there?

The Adventures of Yeti Ball in the UK!
bgwfreak replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yeti Ball IM'd me on myspace and said he's tired of all this crap about other stuffed animals! He wants this thread to start talking about him again! *waiting for Yeti Ball to get his own i.d. and start posting.* -
As soon as I read this thread I thought of Hulk as well. Army mad! Army smash! Don't ask my cousin (who is in Iraq at the moment) who is better. He'll tell you Air Force all the way! It's sad though that our government can't seem to come up with better ads than this. At least the Navy has finally given up on me. They used to send me crap every month about how "great it is" and all this "money" you'll make.

Don't make fun of us cubicle dwellers. My pointy haired boss will have something to say to you later. -
^ Although I never smoked (thank goodness), I hear the best way is to cut them out slowly. Like the first week cut 1 cigarette a day, then the next week 2, etc. I had to do that with caffeine. I would have a massive headache when I tried to go cold turkey. But I cut it down slowly until it was at zero.

Yeah at least Carowinds will try to get you in the seat if you will "suck it in". lol

^^ Terrance I do not envy you living in Miami for one reason. Everyone there seems to be in shape. lol (Maybe it's the heat?) But it would be hard to be overweight in a city where everyone is thin. I don't think anyone has mentioned this as well: have a free day! Have maybe once a week or every other week when you can have whatever you want (within reason). Like if you love a Big Mac, don't have 10 of them on your free day. Have one. But in the middle of the week when your'e tempted to go scarf down at McDonald's remind yourself that your free day is coming and to wait. It really works. ** It also bugs me the attitude of our media (switch gears a bit). They make fun of people for being 400lbs and will make nasty videos of fat people having sex, then the next minute they are showing McDonald's commercials. See any problem there? I'm so glad I have Tivo now. I can skip all their stupid commercials now. lol Also, the other day on Comedy Central there was this really heavy comedian (like 400lbs at least). He was making fun of little people (midgets as he called them) and I'm thinking, dude you have your own problem, you need to leave other people alone! It's sad though to see how much Americans are letting themselves go. My uncle died last February and he was around 400lbs. Surprisingly it wasn't from a heart attack, but I'm sure the weight contributed to his cancer.

Ok here's my list of what I'm doing... - I'm more active overall. I don't sit in front of the (tube) TV all the time like I did before. I try to make sure I'm cleaning the house or whatever if I have some free time. - I eat a lot more natural and organic veggies and such. The US Government standards of 8 or whatever it is per day is insane though. If I ate all the grain, veggies and such they suggest I would eat 5000 calories a day! - Exercise 4 times a week 40 minutes each. Sometimes I split it up, but I get at least that much exercise. - I've been also trying to build up my fitness level as well. Back when I started in Spring of '05 I could barely walk up the hill that Top Gun (Carowinds) sits on. Now it's not even hard anymore. - Water, water, everywhere. I basically only drink water now, except for the occasional sweet tea (I am a southern boy after all). Hope this helps. That was an issue for me as well. When dining out I always look at the plate and decide to only eat half of the food, or sometimes there's so much I can eat 1/3 and be full. I take the rest home and make other meals of them (saves a lot of money that way too!) Also, try using a smaller plate. Sounds silly, but your mind will think it's getting more food if you put less food on a smaller plate. Also eat slower. It takes about 10-15 minutes for your stomach to tell your brain that you are full. Water also makes you feel full faster. I've heard drinking a glass before a meal will make you get full faster.

Sounds like my mom. When I bought my house she goes and buys a Maltese (sp?). He's cute, but not as cute as me. But neither of us looks as good as Yeti Ball! YB has more friends than me. That's not right. -

Yeti Ball I want to have your love child. Oh wait, I'm male. Nevermind. -
^ Yeah the park is basically in the middle of a mountain range (or three really big hills if you want to get technical). It's natural beauty alone is awesome. Plus the folks there keep the place emaculate. Mmmmmm I miss Granny's Buffet.

Joe you are banned from C3 for that pic. Just thought I'd let ya know. I'm glad I decided to lose weight. Me on a scooter would be a bit scary too.

What is that! (see arrow) Did one of the trees eat a child? Dollywood I'm shocked! Also...Dollywood Christmas at Night so ROX!
-
^ Yeah it wasn't easy getting back into exercising and eating the right kinds of food. But I wouldn't trade the way I feel for all the hamburgers in the world.

Actually Top Gun had the "fat seats" but took them out for some reason. Plus the fat seats were in the middle of the train. Kind of a bummer if you want to sit in the front or back. I'm just glad I can fit in the regular seats now. **UPDATE** As of this week I've reached a new mile'stone'. I've lost 40lbs!

Need help about which park to go to
bgwfreak replied to suave1226's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Dollywood Christmas is awesome. The shows, the lights and oh yeah Thunderhead. I've never been to WA, but how could a park full of Vekomas ever touch Thunderhead I will warn you though if it is below 40 degrees they don't run the coasters. Seriously. -

You guys must have been lucky or something. In August it was jackhammering so much that every chiropractor in Atlanta felt it. -
^In that case I'm about 18 stones. I'm seriously *cough* stoned aren't I?
