^ Great! I would have loved to see the original New York cast, with Hank Azaria (Simpson voices), Tim Curry (orig FranknFurter/RockHorr), and David Pierce from Frazier (Niles), not to mention the glorious Sara Ramierez! That said - the first two hours of this special put-together of Python stuff was great! Lots of stuff I had totally forgotten about - and some of this was so undeniably ghey and freaky.... well, I was giggling myself .... silly! Can't wait to see the rest of the specials, next week, on PBS. Nudgenudge winkwink sayno more saynomore.....

Re-riding a Coaster
Nrthwnd replied to verticalzero's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ I will probably be testing that theory this April and May, when I get over to my park, Playland, and ride our famed twister coaster called....what else? Coaster! I figure the way I look, the ops may start to recognize me, and if I let them in, on my being a part of the UK Tour in June...who knows? They might pass me thru, w/o leaving the car, LOL.... Hey I'm nearly 53 - bite me. I figure it's worth a shot/mention, and then see what happens. And I am easily open to sitting middle of this great coaster. Easy. -
^ They must accept the beer, like the bagged duty free carry-on, right? Thems bottles, I hear, yep...

Ugh. Got back from my dentist a few hours ago. Had a tooth 'filed and carved' for a gold crown fit, next week. So far, pain pills are working.... But - treated myself to these two pins, bought at one of my all-time fave eBay pin sellers.... here: http://stores.ebay.ca/Michaels-Disney-Treasures Reasonable prices and cheap shipping costs per pin. He's great! (These two totalled roughly $26 US w/shipping to Canada.) And here's one of my fave (and evillishly small, heh heh) collections - Scar. A Friday the 13th pin, too. Exxxxxxcellent. I am thinking of putting a "DL Alice & Wonderland" Framing together of a few like-themed pins. This will be one of them.

Had to BUMP this immediately! "And now for something completely....repackaged." Found out, the remaining five members (bless you Graham Chapman) have put together their fave segments and MP moments, into a TV thing called: Monty Python's Personal Best It's on PBS starting tonight, and I'll quote from the Entertainment Weekly write-up... Y wsa! I'll be so there tonight, watching and enjoying.

Are you a coastertool or a coasterfool?

Well, after the UK Trip, I figure I'll be closer to being a Fool than a Kid. Not that there's anything wrong with that.... -
Nice little collection there, Joey. But - nothing that really interests me. For now. You might want to check thru eBay, and search out the DLP pins that are (currently) being auctioned off. That'll then give you some idea of what cost a few of your pins might go for, if offered. Hey, you might even find your exact pins already on auction, so you can follow how they do, before you think about posting yours, hmmm?

TPR and Theme Park Artwork
Nrthwnd replied to sfmmFREAK's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
See first page of this thread..... Excellent artwork from all of you guys. Wish I had kept up with my little doodles and sketches back in my school days, into something more. Keep up the great work, everybody! -
^ Do all of your str8 men friends know you're gay? Thought I'd ask. (EDIT: Noticed your avatar. I love "Wicked" too. GO Elphaba GO! )

^ Quizno's also has bread bowls for their chili and a couple of thick soups, here at ours in town. I think those are so cool. Like some mexican fast foods that do their taco salads in an 'edible bowl,' heh heh. Tim Horton's - a 'Treasured' Canadian Franchise - has bread bowls too, for a chowder and/or chili. Yum.

Currently, it appears the two "Piece of History" pins that are really racking up the big bucks on eBay, are the first-offered pin last year, and the current one from Series II now 'available,' hah hah... 20,000 Leagues Jan'05 Haunted Mansion Feb'06 Considering it's a eensy bitty piece of 'stuff' packed onto the pin, it's still a unique collectible. And of course, attractions are are no longer around (i.e. 20KL) are the ones that'll get snapped up faster... Unless it's the #$@^&*%* Haunted Mansion pins. Can't wait, when they offer the Mr.Toads Wild Ride PofH, how fast that one will (probably) sell. And they're planning to offer one for Pirates too, to co-incide with the new "PiratesII" opening in July, I hear. ~ ~ ~ ~ Sean, if you ever find two of the Mansion pins - I will definitely be interested, okay? Right now, I do want two of them, if possible.

^ That sounds great, the crystallized ginger idea. We love that stuff and have it around the house all the time. Worth a try. At Playland this season, they will have BreakDance and something they're calling The Gladiator which in photo looks like one of those swamp-boat 'like' flat rides. These are the two 'New AWESOME Rides' this year. What the flyer says, anyway. But - definitely want to try both of them, so will take a pack of ginger along and see what happens, lol. -
Not now it isn't. Nyuk, nyuk nyuk.

Great! I should get going on taking a pic or two of my nine lanyards hanging up to the left of me, here. The rest of my 'collection,' I group into baggies and keep stored away in bigger ziplock bags. But these 'lanyard-ed' sets I keep out, and within viewing range, lol. And here's another pin I got a kick out of obtaining. Was part of an Event Series Set, which basically, was for the opening of DCA in 2001. There were four pins available, I got all of them, and this of course, is the obvious fave, LOL! I am half-hoping that 'maybe' this 'might' become .... collectible. Hah. Looking forward to seeing your pin board. What can I say? It's closed now. Boo hoo.

Also, it would be great if sometimes, peeps were able to post a pic er three of the pins they (currently) have, or want/need, etc. Best site I find pix of pins - is www.PinPics.com with great, different pin groups that peeps collect, there. And lots of pix too - you have to wade thru a lot of them, but usually worth it. Below, is one of my faves, from DLP, bought in Oct.04... That says it all, hmmm?

Westcoaster Status Update
Nrthwnd replied to Jim Disney's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thanks for letting us know. You are one of my fave "other sites" (:kissTPRkiss:) I go to regularly, for stuff and excellent captions, heh heh. So, hoping the change (and all that it involves, from what you said there) will not be as painful as it could be, computer-wise.... Looking forward to more of the same from you guys ---- only fasterfasterfaster!!!
