Quiet weekend. Not going out. Again. Hmmm.

Wow, thanks. I look forward to it. And as you already know, mine to you went out on Wednesday, before noon. Via snail mail a la Canada Poste and USPS.... Here's hoping, knock wood.

Funny things is, I immediately decided the Moon Pie was to be The First To Go...... mwa ha ha ha..... And - it was. Just goes to show, the good die young - or get eaten first, LOLOL!

The real pissoff at watching some of these on a big screen... Is that some of these 'commercials' were not made for movie screens. Simple. These were originally tv ads, BLOWN UP Real BIG now. What-ever. Ptoooey. Hate'em. Would rather see more previews of upcoming films.

Canada doesn't have Saturday snail mail delivery anymore. Hasn't had it for a good couple of decades or more, really. That said, a knock on the door late this morning made me think it was "somebody wanting a donation for..." or "sombody asking me if I am happy with my phone/server/cable/wahtever service..." so I just sort-of ignored it. Then I heard the screen door opened and closed - and then, nothing. I looked out the keyhole peeper in the door - saw a guy walking back to a postal delivery truck! Immediately opened the door! And found... With my Whitman's Sampler "in hand", I gather my horde for future.... enjoyment. THANKS JULIE!!! Big Bear Hugsss!!! And THEN I found "the little note" in the box - and LMAO. "Pixie Dust," indeed. That was a F-ing CUP OF GLITTER in that *&%$ package Lady, LOLOL. OMG OMG OMG Yummy JD liquor 'candy.' WOOT! And the 'single barrel' kind, too. More yummy. ...and then I found this. Hmmm. Doesn't look like a candy bar. I wonder... And with the Clusters, a Moon Pie (ate it), Fastbreak, Take 5, PayDay, Baby Ruth, Mr. Goodbar, and a mini-Whitman's Sampler! OMG - Goo Goo Clusters! Whole boxful of'em! Direct from the Nashville Home Company. (sort of, heh heh) Whoa! Individually paper-wrapped.... stuff! This is too cool. Hmmm - some glitter here. Quite the handful, I find. Eventually.... So far, so good... How does my Happy & Excited 'Look" ... look? Our cat, Camille suggests: Are we opening this *&$%^@+* thing or not??? Hmmm. Let's see here... Wait a sec - Infant Oxygen Sensor??? Hmmmm, maybe no candy here.... )o: Ooo! Ooo! It's my candy package from USRT (Julie) in Tennessee!!! Wheeee! Well, I know it didn't knock on the door by itself...... hmmm?

Yay. I just got (Julie)USRoadTripper's candy(?) package late this morning!!! Am going to open it, when I have 'extra hands' to take pix of the eventual "Opening Of The Package..." Stay too too toodly tooned....

^^^OMG, I am soooooo glad my collections are more 'limited,' LOL! That is a lot of Stitch pins, Sean. No kidding. Just "browsing thru" that first pin set exhausted me, heh heh. Then, the Hawaiian collection.... whew! Happy collecting to you! Um, I don't think it would be prudent to ship a case of Cheerwine across Ye Olde Border, y'know? Probably possible, but not sure if shipping expense would be worth it, to you, I mean. And if I'd have a pin trade good enough for you, for such, etc. But thankyou for the offer, lol. DL Magical Milestones (Have 15 faves, which is enough.) Halloween (Here and there from all the parks.) ...and others.

Man, I miss Cheerwine! I remember it several times, on my trips over to the eastern seaboard and south. It kind of made me think of overly cherry Dr.Pepper sometimes. And I loved it <3 <3 <3 heh , heh!!! Wish it was sold over here where I live. Pizza looked nice too, Sean, altho those 'circles' of goat cheese looked kind of.... well, just too perfectly cut, for me, LOL. Hope the meal was a nice one. (EDIT: And Soren? everything looks better on it's packaging, than what you eventually turn up with, after cooking, lol.)

Wow - and I just remember you posting pix of him a week or so ago, yes? In the pets thread...? So sorry to hear about your family's loss, Guy. Especially when everybody has 'connected' with the pet, it's definitely tough. We've gone thru it several times over the years with the cats we've had to put down, or the ones who just got sick and we couldn't do anything to help. Maybe you should put a bit of fave snack foods with him, on his journey to Bunny Theme Park Heaven? Hope your family heals ok - picks up - and gets 2 guinea pigssssss!!!

I did some volunteer work for our world's fair, EXPO 86. I volunteer worked for the 1990 Gay Games in Vancouver. Have done volunteer work (on and off) for A Loving Spoonful, here in town, helping raise $ for more food to buy and distribute.
