  1. YAY for you Nicole! Most Excellent. Um - A Masters in........what, again? Kicks dirt at feet...
  2. I just found, the house across the street from us, sold for $736,000 CDN We is turnin' soooooo upscale, yes we is, mm hmm? (omg)
  3. This is a great tour vid of the Tatsu construct, Clint. Kewl! So nice for everybody to connect up and share vids, etc. here at TPR and other websites. Sniff, sniff. Makes me all mooshy inside. This sharing 'thing.'... More MORE! (EDIT: Hmmm. Guess, not a podcast huh?)
  4. And that - as they say - is that. "Lock-a-lock-a-lock-a Lock Me - I wanna be diiirrrrrrrrty." (oops - wrong lyrics - eh - lockitup) Thanks for trying to share, nonetheless....
  5. Um, you mean the Geek Couple, right? Not a (heavens forbid) Dorky Couple, heh heh. I like them, too. The majority of the couples are actually all pretty good... and tolerable, so far. But - Lake should be 'put down' while he's still young, LOLOL. I fear for his 'personal international safety' the way he suddenly yells out, usually at whats-her-name-his-wifey, but sometimes just when nobody expects it, including the cameraguy, lol. Ah well, two down - nine to go go go!
  6. "One that would have the fruit must climb the tree." - Thomas Fuller
  7. I did mean to mention about that ^ there "South Theme Park" grouping of yours, Sean. Very impressive. I am curious how you'd show Robb, Elissa, Derek, Wally... I think that's all I could bear to see right now, heh heh. Good goin' there, oh fellow pin collector!
  8. This is the best I can offer - so far, until April 14 (Good Friday/Easter Wknd.) when my park opens. But I got da Pass Proof! Kind of, here. (BTW - The deadline for Playland Season Pass' savings is this Friday, by midnight. For those who may be 'locally interested'... ) The Early Bird ...saves roughly $20 woo hoo!
  9. And everybody gets to put in their POVs of various coasts and dippers! Woot!
  10. 1922 POST #1800 !!!
  11. Yay - BJ & Tyler win a Trip to...... TAHITI !!! TOGETHER !!! ...uh...wait a sec... That was a great ending to an 'ok' kind of episode... Altho, I DO realize that rapelling down a (gulp) 400 FOOT building would not be my idea of accepting a Roadblock. (shudders at thought) The waterfalls and the sugarcane-methanol things were done pretty good, from all of them. They all did pretty good - BUT - those two non-working T&A Lovin'buddies..... euuuuw. Eric and whats-his-brain(not)? Please, Oh Amazing Race Gods, let these oingo-BOYngos... go!
  12. Well this was a busy day's postings, hmmm? Wow, where to start, where to start.... Eh. I won't. The whole day's touring and reading has been great, guys. Good to see the Meet & Early Greet 'Tour' went A-OK there with Lou joining your evil forces, mwa - ha - hah. ~ ~ ~ ~ I agree with niiic on the height thing. I won't do some walkbacks - or more precisely, walkUps? Now, tell me your fear, hee hee hee.
  13. That was something, hmmm? Pretty good, for what they did. I think they worked it all in, as best they could budget-wise, probably. Wonder what Groening (sp?) has to say about it, hmm? Wonder if he knows about it already, too? Hmmm....
  14. And remember ^ whatever is possibly greenlighted ... could be several years before even a first "smaller attraction" would open, hmm? This whole project could end up taking in a total of ten years.... or more. Then again, since it could be an entirely new part of AK unveiled, it 'could' be all built in one process like a park, itself, hmm? (Like the orig.Bear Country in DL.) And then opened to the GP. Bye bye Minnie/Mickey Character Greet Land?
  15. Wow - you got quite the collection, Don! And I noticed the 33 Pin. Very nice. I got two of them, and gave one to my David for our 33rd Anniv. last year, lol. He still forgets what the pin actually represents.... And I notice you have the three pin collection of DCA attractions - Grizzly Rapids, SSLimo and SunWheel. I like them and have them too, and also have the Grand Opening poster pin for DCA itself - see below. Thanks for sharing all that you got, lol. (EDIT: I also love that mini-map DL pin there! That's great! When was that available, and how did you get it?) This was sold and/or handed out at the Grand Opening of DCA, in 2001. Wow - already five years old, huh?
  16. Beds fold up and COMSUME ELISSA - - and spit out the die.
  17. ^ Just to let you know how things might work out... My first real and only penpal was a girl in Poland. We connected in the fall of... 1967!!! And guess what? Yep. We still send each other brithday cards, christmas cards, know each other's email addy now (lol)... And yet, we still have never met, face-to-face! After nearly 40 years! Hmmm. Hope your new friendship works out great!
  18. ^ That sucks. Can you do something of a re-take, eventually, of the test? You know, restudy and all that? Not great, but if you can - it might be worth it, a second try.
  19. This reminded me of a great-looking model (see below) of a water/rails ride... tho I have no idea whether this was actually created or not. (And thanks to the guy having taken the pic....) ~ ~ ~ ~ ***Looks great from the drawing, this new 'Vikings River Splash' @ Legoland, in Denmark. And that may indicate, the prospects of a (future) TPR Scandinavian Tour look better and better, lol. Looking forward to any and all information you find and can share with us here about this new attraction. Thanks! (EDIT: Had name of ride wrong - corrected it.) Been a long time, so I'm not too sure what this was supposed to be of, or where it would be built. Anybody know?
  20. Uh huh, and sometimes I need to post my signature, to remind myself that... ...when it gets here - it's here. No matter what time delivery period they'll tell you. No sweat. You never know when....
  21. Um, I realize this is waaaaaay beyond probability but - Has anybody ever considered an All Theme park / Amusement Center / Roller Coaster & Rides .... Cable Channel? Or a once-a-week series on travelling to a specific park(s) and highlighting it's particular known 'signature' attractions, etc. And having details about general hours, tix prices, etc. And this would be about parks around the world - not just mainly in the USA. Altho there could always be that US Amusement/Theme Park weekly show too, lol.
  22. Hip Hop was definitely IN The House of 'O' (That was actually great to see them win - and they were so HAPPY!)
  23. ^ Actually it won only three out of the eight nominations: Screenplay Adaptation Score Direction Which was fine - 'cause that's what made BM so memorable. Ang Lee's amazing bringing together of all elements in the film; an amazing screen treatment of an already great short story; A haunting, yet very 'western american sound' in it's soundtrack. It's much more than 'just about gay cowboys.' Much more.
