Trip Report: SFOG on 3/12
Nrthwnd replied to ParkTrips's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^^ Never say never.... I never thought I'd be enjoying roller coasters in the UK, Sweden and Norway this coming summer, and would be enjoying a good set of European coasters (old & new) available in the (probable) coming years.... And yet - I am, now. Took awhile, heh heh. But hey - You may get to the USofA and all it's wonderful parks yet, y'know? You got a few years ahead of you, for planning and looking forward to.... all of it. Nice pix of Goliath BTW, PT. Lookin' good and sleek there. The downward (?) helix looks grrreat! -

Actually - I must admit - this was not a product of the Search Feature... something I still have probs with using, etc.etc. That's a small rant, for later somewhere else, lol. I'm a trivia geek who's even interested in what threads are left 'dangling' on the last pages of.... the forums. So I poke around, from backpage to a few in, checking for anything that might catch my interest... And found Elissa'a BirthD Thread on Page 37 and thought - hmmm, gettin' close again... Must - bump - up.

^ ^ ^ We MUST find this woman and have another add-on to the UK Tour!!! Heh heh heh, amazingly daft, huh? Too bad she didn't know how to bottle it FAST!!!

Nrthwnd replied to Twister II's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Um, right. Yeah, great. And I just picked up a discount coupon for the PlayDome Carnival coming this St.Patrick'sDay weekend to town... (a $20 Cdn. daypass now...$17!) Hmmm. Well, we'll see. There's probably not a coaster in the bunch-o-rides comin' this way. But - ya never know, hmm? Hope the workers all got thru it, okay. -
^ Oh, ok. Well, for some inane reason, this photo of a guy who's playing a sherpa at the New York thing they put on recently, for Expedition:Everest's eventually opening? He kinda - sorta - reminds me of - welll.... I labeled the pic - Robb's Yeti Bro...? No? Ok. Well, I did a bit of a double take on it, first time I saw it.

Thinking of moving back to Pennsylvania...
Nrthwnd replied to Rachel127's topic in Random, Random, Random
There are pros and cons to every decision we make in life, from changing cities to deciding, steelies? Or, good old woods? It's a tough call for now, but like you've told us, you've got some more time to weigh the decision, hmm? That's good. Just always make sure you've given yourself enough time, to be satisfied with what you've finally decided. Best advice I can give, right now. (EDIT: Damned spelling goofs.) -
The "Sören´s Way To Disney" Thread
Nrthwnd replied to Hattuchili's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well, Disney has been pretty good lately, with all the cultural differences they had to put up with, NOT all being like Tokyo. i.e. Paris? Still like their Cast Members clean and spot-on, as Mary Poppins would put it (or is it spit-spot?), including the facial hair, boo hoo. You'll grow it back, once the year is gone, You'll see. Have a safe flight. -
Barry, be careful - or you could end up in luggage storage below said bus? Nasteee mind you got. That'll keep'em all worried, LOLOL.

Which World should Homer go to?
Nrthwnd replied to Homer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Since all these parks (and most of the attractions within) will still be around, as you and I get older and older.... I would go for the Two-Park-Hopper, like others here suggested. The beauty is, those two parks are on same property, with pretty good transport, and you get choice attractions in both, two of which are placed nicely side-by-side for your enjoyment, heh heh. But for voting? Eh, I'll never tell, ha - ha - ha. And ye$, it IS true - how much DO your parent$ love you??? -
Probably. ~ ~ ~ Sometimes, I write way too much. Wait - is that a confession, a rant or.... something else?

^ Good old National Geographic one, lol. David is a mountain NUT and used to do hiking trips up (never did climbing, wouldn't now) into the ice caves on Mount Rainier, in Wash. state. Never did Shasta,a nd would still like to hike it, where he can. So that's his "Mountain Wall" which works out perfectly with the newly-placed exer-bike of all things! And off the left shoulder is a good TV view or watching TPR and TPR-Related DVD's - hah! (hi Don! Love both vids!) And actually - the photo 'look' at that side of Everest, IS The Look that Disney has attempted in smaller detail on E:E's front view, if you look and compare. And Mike... Hey - it's a Schwinn made bike, buddy. Good company made, I'd say. I have just over two months till Da UK Tour. We shall see, eventually how much 'gut' goes bye bye, lol. Teddy, you wouldn't see David in many - if any- coaster onride pix. He doesn't go on them as often as I have, but I do have a couple, the latest from Rock-N-Roller in Paris, of us having our kicks, heh heh. Will scan it and post sometime soon - maybe our anniversary, on Earth Day. Awwwwww... We kept trying to get on-ride pix of us in Big Thunder - Advise To Others: If you want good on-ride pix at any BTM, never sit in third row of any of the cars. Headchopping cams, boo hoo. Talk about yer re-rides, LOL. I think we tried a few more times, then 'got it,' but decided another time, lol. So that's for us next year's, attraction souvenir project, lol.

^^ Easily confuse-able I'm sure.
-
Sometimes, one doesn't see that, depending how it's typed out. Another thing to do is j/k or the old fave Then again, there's the always more practical and easily located along with it's more 'fem' side , though not necessarily in that order... (And then again, not everybody -yet- knows what JK means, mmm?) Note to Chris ^ Yeah I was noticing that too - and wondering if these two attractions had something that I had missed knowing about, all these years, lol. Thanks for making 'the observation'. (EDIT: Spelling goofs. )

May I have an L, please?
