SFKK Opening Day Photo TR 4/1/2006
Nrthwnd replied to SonOfBeastSucks's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
^ Good TR. I miss KK before it was SF. But that was also, before Chang, Twisted Twins (Sisters) - heck it was before Hellevator opened! But I had my first 'taste' of two-person SLC goodness on T2, when it was all pink and red.... Good visit back in 1995, I believe. Thanks for sharing your recent trip. (EDIT: Change does not = Chang...) -
Het or not. Monogamous or not. Always be safe. Condoms. All ways. (EDIT: (Added sig.)

Wow. Takes today to a whole new level. Espec' since it's twu it's weelly twu! Eh - who knows? Probably better than those phone-up, conference-up Par-TAY Up (and PAY up) things they got going on Da TeeVee, mm'yah? ~ ~ ~ (EDIT: Line 2 is wright. )

Agreed. And ours is, too. And we're coming up on the (gasp) 34 years mark... then

^^ I thought School of Rock was great, especially for Jack Black. We actually thought it was one of the best movies he'd done, past or (now) present. I mean, he had to be "toned down" somewhat, in King Kong. And most of everything else he's done, he's been allowed to go mostly manic, as per usual... Remember guys, I said most of everything. That said, I thought even tho it was a lot of 'the same' from him, it all worked to the movie's favor, especially with the great kids that were in it, acting and creating their band. Yep. We definitely thought it was one of Black's best films.

Westcoaster Update - 03/30/2006
Nrthwnd replied to Jim Disney's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Great TR, as per usual, Jim. I especially like the signage in places that they really attempt to 'theme,' along with everything else there. Great! Looking forward to more of... This one's great, too. I love this one. -
Avatar/Photochop Contest! VOTING TIME!
Nrthwnd replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Man, this would certainly merit somebody taking alllllll of these attractions and rides together and trying to map them out on a 'site' RCTC-style, lol! I mean, somebody has to be the (ahem) Master Planner of It All, hmmm? -
Photo TR: Pleasurewood Hills, Plus POV of Enigma
Nrthwnd replied to martinb's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
The Thunderstruck looks cool to me. Sort of three mini-Enterprises grouped together, heh heh. That should be fun, along with Enigma and other rides there. Thanks for sharing the TR. (EDIT: Oops. Wrong name there. Changed it. ) -
Belatedly noted - and thanked! Also - talk about random happiness - my income tax refund AND a birthday card from my long-time penpal in Poland (nearly 40 YEARS now, we've known each other!) both arrived on The Day, too! The refund happily covered my UK airfare, and some spending Pound$.

^ Actually more like 33, but thanks for the sentiment there, all of you....

Thanks for sharing your TR. We're going to be in DLP just over a year from now, so everything I see lately on DLP Trip Reports gets me more and more excited, heh heh! Can't wait. And yes, it IS a beautiful park. I have enough time next year, to actually spend a day and just walk around, enjoying what's been done with landscaping etc. All very cool stuff, too. Thanks again for sharing your trip. -
(Robb checking around, to see if anybody noticed him taping himself to the front car...)

Hey all - Thanks lots for all your kind mentions for yesterday. I took myself out to lunch (a fave Greek eats spot), then got some UK $ from the lover for June (yay), and ended with BBQ in the early evening. And TV. And more exer-bicycling.... And new windsox!!!! And a new Cirque de Soleil DVD - Varekai, which we're seeing live (already gots da tix) one week after I get back from the UK tour. Thanks again everybody for all your nice stuff. Much appreciated.

Funniest Ride and Coaster Names
Nrthwnd replied to Movieguy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
In Vancouver, our coaster is called... Coaster Actually - that's not very funny, is it? Sad, depressing, un-original, yes. Funny? Probably not..... Not even amusing, at best. Hmmm. Maybe, at worst... and on and on and on... -
