And when I was thinking that she (of the two parents) would be the most accepting - she wanted to throw me out of the house! I totally freaked out, emotionally on that surprise. And of all people, it was my dad who calmed things down between us. Never saw that coming, either... You are very lucky Evan, that your mom is being good with it. I've known several friends who had terrible experiences with their coming out to their folks. A few of which, never recovered on both sides. Sad. Hey - take her out to dinner, hmm? As a "Thankyou for Accepting & Loving Me As I Am" gift.

^ Well, this morning's paper says in more clearly-readable ink - 45 rides & attractions. Whee. So - I need the 'practice' anyway for whatever in GAWD's name I'm going to have to ride (per peer pressure, hmmm?) some flat I may regret, later on, LOL! On the UK Tour in June, I mean. Hey - you at least got a list of (Most of?) the rides, Carnage. They haven't posted anything here, except that little ad I'm holding in the pic. Now, at least, thanks to your Excellent Searching Techniques I have some idea what I'm in for, next Saturday, ride-wise, next Saturday, heh heh. Wheeeeeeeeeeee! (P.S. I need the rides 'workout' anyway, for the Tour, lol) ~ ~ ~ (EDIT: Actually, in re-reading your list there, Carnage - I count only 21 rides out of ...45 'rides & attractions'? Hmmm. Have you heard when the second season is starting up? I have heard nothing, over here on local CBC television, which will air it, I'm sure - they aired the first new season and the Christmas "Special" - hah! Picked this little bee-yooty up this late afternoon. At first I really REALLY wasn't too keen on having this new 'thing' in our life. Much less, for the purpose we knowit was meant for... But - once we moved some stuff here and therer. OMG ::shock: And now it sits very nicely, snuggled in wher eit shoudl be - waiting for it's next rider.... And hopefully - by the time I leave for the UK Tour, lugging around 20 (and a few more) extra pounds won't be a serious health problem to me. And we can watch TPR 'Family' DVDs too, while pedaling to..... nowhere!!! (EDIT: Realized I should have brought the camera with us, showing the way it was 'hauled' home, lol! Hence, a true RTR. Found this in today's paper... The Canada's Largest Indoor Carnival is coming to town!!! St.Pat's Day Weekend! (next) It appears to say "45 rides and attractions" for a $20 CDN daypass. Hmmm. Probably (as in the past) the '45 rides' includes a good dozen or so, kidd's rides. Should still be worth a Saturday afternoon/evening of....fun? OMG! I forgot this thing comes to town around mid-March, regardless of where Easter falls. Yowsa! UK Tour 'Training Ground,' LOL.
