  1. I can't see what I tele-typed, for some reason. (EDIT: It's all working alright for me, now.)
  2. ^ Is there a Dark Ride in there, somewhere? Just curious.
  3. Giddy, almost several months, until the TPR Scandinavian Tour.
  4. I want to win an ultimate lottery. Which would allow me to have a permanent vacation apartment at Tokyo Disney Sea's Mira Costa Hotel.
  5. Just wierd. And unfortunately, typically (stereotype) American.
  6. The dwarfs coaster is looking cooler and cooler every time I come across new photos and/or video of it.
  7. ^ So Peter, it's kind of the middle section of all the track, that's last to install? Cannot wait to ride this in June!
  8. I think it used to be called "Caucasian". Which sounds wierd, all the same. I also "heard" that there might be some Russian in me.
  9. I think 2015!!! Damn it, now Ill have to choose between Mexico and Germany. That won't be easy. David and I have pushed and pushed back an Amsterdam-Paris-DisneyParis trip for a few years now, and we were (now) definitely planning for Sept.2015, so this is going to be a real financial challange to me. Mexico was definite, but the rest of the 2015 tour season may be a no-go. Which is fine. Still.
  10. ^ It was it was! This is one of those big gi-normous steel coasters that really succeed in integrating theming and such. Great queue station, too.
  11. I totally forgot about these parks being so close to me, and I have been to both of them. Forgive me Coaster Park Gawds for such an error in judgement. (But those aren't my times = + 2-1/2 hours from Vancouver)
  12. Too old for school.
  13. < An old logo for Magic Mountain back in the 1970's, BEFORE franchises took it over. It's actually a darker colour on the flyer, so I lightened it up some, to be able to read it. Yeah, you got HIGH in those days, by riding coasters, man. And we DID have fun back in....Sept.1975?
  14. Continuing with a couple more Disney park mugs... Tokyo Disneyland Halloween - 2007 This was bought on the first TPR Japan tour I took, back in Sept.of 2007. Immediately, it was not the best time of year to visit, with typhoons offshore (and we just missed a near total shutdown of trains one night due to one, thanks to Elissa's amazing "Plan B" skills), and it very VERY HUMID most of the time. Mid-June seems to be now, the preferred choice of when to re-visit Japan, but at this time, September was it. This was also the first year (I believe), that the Haunted Mansion in TDL got the NBC overlay. So we got to ride it literally a week or so, after it debuted, all fresh and new. In September! And this was the basic design for the 2007 Halloween Poster in TDL, highlighting NBC....with Scary Teddy on the handle! Very cool. How it looks, in the front. And in back. I love this mug. One of my absolute faves, currently. A lot of information on the bottom, there. I <3 Scary Teddy. Always have, since his Incredible Acting Debut in NBC. Under one minute on screen? A pro. That same visit. Peter/Loefet and me with a "triple play" in FastPasses, for 3 rides including HM, in front of it with Jack's sled up top there. And it really was a great ride-through!
  15. ^ AHS:Coven was great last night. A bit twisted having SN in the episode. We knew it was inevitable, and in that one scene, it all seemed sort of like a "lounge act" with her playing, and everybody just watching and listening. And Lange reclining. I was expecting the butler to come in with cocktails, LOL.
  16. ^ I think the best way of doing that is just do the Asia parks. Tokyo Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, and (soon) Shanghai Disneyland. Triple treat.
  17. I read this article on another site. And the video history tour of the park nowadays, is pretty sad. Lots of work to be done, even before they put a coaster up, IMhO. Hope this eventually works out.
  18. Fixed. I don't think it's a case of "being popular" in the US. There just doesn't seem to be any park (for now) interested in building one. Also, there are only 4 of these in the world at this time, so it's not like they are all over Europe and Asia. Those of us who have ridden them, just can't stop gushing about them. That's all.
  19. A new coaster. Any new coaster. (But not a children's, please.)
  20. ^^ Yes I do use pretty much all of them, Bob. However, there are several smaller mugs I have that were gotten by way as a 'freebie' with a dessert etc. Tokyo Disney offered this a lot, and the smaller cups are more suited to expressos and such. So there are a few on display in one of the kitchen windows. But the rest are either on two racks up on the walls, or in the cupboards within close reach. (And photos of the racks and assortments will be shown, eventually.) ^ Chuck, those are both great mugs! The ToT looks like it's in keeping with 'the era' that ToT exisited (before that 'accident'). And the Balder one is awesome - is it actually at a 70' angle? And that wierd rabbit mascot too. Excellent! Here's another from me - my First Disneyland Paris Mug, bought in our first visit to DLPR in the fall of 2002. This was the 10th Anniversary of the resort, and also the opening year for the Studios, next door to the Magic Kingdom. Which true to the tales, was really back then, a 1/2 day park! I hear there are a few more things to keep everybody occupied there , and more to come with the new Ratatouille Attraction, opening this year. I visited DLPR three more times since then (2004-07=08), and the mugs have gotten substantially BIGGER, lol. But this was my first one from there. On one side, dark blue on white. And on the other side - the opposite! (o: The bottom of it.
  21. mmmm hamburgers and concertos for lunch
  22. Playland (10 min.by car) Playland (20 min.by bus) Playland (40 min.walking) Otherwise, it's Silverwood in Idaho, Oaks Park in Portland OR, and everything else in California. (No idea of mileage)
