Three closest parks near you

I like this arrangement! And I like all four parks, with their own individual "personality". I wish there was something like all of this, near where I live. -

^ You most certainly must have caught it in very good days! I do ride it every time I get to DLP. But so far, nothing had changed. And if you could ride Raging Spirits at TDS, I am pretty sure you would even be shocked yourself, at the smoothness of the ride. If the Paris version gets that makeover - Definite WIN! -

I voted #2 because I don't have or use Twitter. But if it goes with #1, that's fine by me. -
Theme Park Mugs, Cups, Glasses, and Such.

^ That would be very cool, if the mug did that, Mark! And who knows? They may come up with something like that, eventually. ^^ And even though you don't have a place of your own to show (and use) a mug collection, you could start collecting 'lightly', wrap them separately in paper and keep them in a sturdy box, easy to travel, and ready with all your mugs when you finally bring them out to use and display in your apartment. Speaking of "display", here's a photo of the first mug rack I have had for a long time, before a new second one was given to me. This one has all the mugs I have just featured this past week or so. On display, but always in use, too. And all dishwasher safe! This is the set of "regular sized" mugs I have. Smaller and bigger ones, to be shown soon. -

That's "smooth as a baby's bottom", I remember our saying. Kumali. And Mumbo Jumbo, too! (an El Loco) -
I love how Hong Kong Disneyland resembles (to me) the original Disneyland of the 1950s. Not overstuffed with attractions just yet. And just beginning to extend and expand it's current layout. I mean, HKDL now has lands surrounding the only waterway in the park! And outside the train loop of the park, too. Very un-Magic Kingdom. Until now. Gotta love that.

^ That'd be cool, but the theatre was so integral to the production, I just don't think the iconic Chapiteau (tent) will suffice. There was so much technical effects and stuff in that theatre... but you never know, Cirque could probably figure it all out for traveling, heh. -

Negative > Positive nowadays, sadly. It's really the same old, same old, any decade, where any one negative criticism makes more impact than a thousand compliments. -

^ I am guessing the Potter thing could work with the UK Pavilion. And Spiderman? Ooo - Japan! A Japanese anime' version of the ride. Classic. And - yes yes YES to an Imagination Pavilion redo! -
I just took this off of our front porch, looking towards downtown. I didn't really realize after all these years in our house (35!), that we had this great view of downtown! Now if we could only get rid of these two city grown, European Ashes, in the way there.

Option 2 - I don't have a cellphone, therefore no twitter, tweet, and so on. So having the twitter feed there, isn't that useful to me. -

And to finish up this week... Shiriki Utundu in Tokyo Disney Sea - 2011 This was The Mug I ended up with, from my next TPR Tour to Tokyo Disney Resort. This time, we had the added treat of staying in an on-site partner hotel with TDLR, The Tokyo Bay Hilton. Awesome hotel, easy access to the parks via monorail, and access as well, to one of the more interesting Tower of Terrors in the Disney Parks chain. And we stayed there again in 2013. So I think this is now The Unofficial TPR Hotel at TDLR, heh. The Japanese (up to the computer age, I guess) had never heard of nor ever seen episodes of "The Twilight Zone". Which is what the other three (including Paris' version) are based on. So a back story had to be created that was new and totally original. And in the theme of where the attraction was, in this case, The American waterfront. And they came up with a doozy of one. lol. Colonel Hightower "collected" things from around the world. And as you look at framed photos, and tour the hotel basement, it appears he never asked for anything. He just took it. Stole it. Even one of the Easter Island statues! Evil man with a fabulous hotel, scheduled to open up at the end of 1939 - and then disaster struck. And Hightower disappeared....for ever. The hotel was reopened decades later, for historical tours. And then we all found out about Shiriki Utundu, a foot high or so, little statue that has evil stuff all over it. And evil would result if the statue was stolen, or taken without permission...... The attraction is a masterful redesign of the show building itself, with the whole themeing and atmosphere created around this new storyline. And it all exits into what used to be a really great ToT gift shop (the former "indoor swimming pool" of the hotel, filled in and tiled over). But the character merchandise started to infiltrate this corner of the American Waterfront, and ToT souvenirs had/have become a bit more minimal in there. Still, I got this mug back in 2011. And on the next visit (2013) I got a great t-shirt and Shiriki stuff, too. Even Stitch is (somewhat) in awe of Shiriki. The front of the mug. With Shiriki in hiding, inside the mug. And of course, Stitch has to check Shiriki out. BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! With the very important warning, clearly spelled out, including Shiriki's name. Bottom stuff. Always important. What I picked up in the 2013 visit. A great movie poster-like t-shirt; Shiriki in a smaller, more carry-size....uh...size; a pen that laughs at you, with light up green eyes. Cool stuff! One of my last shots of ToT, the last day we spent at TDLR, before heading home, July 2013. -
