  1. What about the topple tower in Djurs Sommerland, in Denmark? Is it still running? It was, back in 2009 when TPR was there. Here's the postcard of the tower.
  2. Where's the witch? Where's the witch? Where's The Witch? (I saw the new video earlier on another site - the whole thing with the AAs and the face mapping looks awesome. I was wondering if the 'facial features' would be good and work, and they look like they are!)
  3. What I'm wondering, is if they're going to put one in the new Shanghai Disneyland? It's not on the (currently?) released list of attractions and services in and outside of the park, in the Fantasy Land list. No mention of it at all. But there's certainly enough space for it to be built, if they want one. And I can't wait to see and ride this great looking coaster-dark ride based on the Dwarfs Mine adventures. Hi Ho indeed!
  4. Actually, one I remember vividly (2006), is that G Force at Drayton Manor. The eventual upside down lift hill, caused me to actually start slipping out of the "Lap bar" that was the only thing holding us (at that time) in. I had a fricken panic attack in just two seconds. Thankfully the lift completed, and the coaster went on it's wierd little freaky way. Didn't ride it when we returned in 2010. Didn't want to. And I heard others have the same reaction as I did. So, nothing lost. G Force. And the lift hill in question.
  5. Most of the ones in the TPR China Tour in 2012.
  6. Actually, if you want to put a "future Single Riders Line" mention in, the Ratatouille attraction at Walt Disney Studios in Paris, is being built with a single riders line, as well as Fastpass, and the regular queue. EDIT to add: And finally, Crush' Coaster in WDS is getting a Single Riders Line, so you should include that as well as Ratatouille. Entrance to the attraction is at the left. There are three queues here as you can see. The ones with numbers 57 and 53 are the single riders and fast pass queues. The one numbered 93, is the longer general queue.
  7. Totally agree on this. Tivoli was wonderful at night with it's lighting and water show. And this was mainly around the gardens themself. I didn't wander too much to the attractions part of the park, but you could see everything was beautifully lit, as the gardens area was. Looking forward to this, too. Sorry, Bakken. It looks lovely at night. Fact is, everything usually looks awesome at night with all the lights on.
  8. Lucky Yumi. And congrats to Tokyo Disney on 600 million visitors!
  9. Thanks for showing what you could, of the night lighting at the park. Usually in the TPR Tours, there is not much time in the schedule to actually stay into the evening. We're always heading somewhere else, heh. Can't wait to get back to this park, especially Tornado! It's a truly surprising coaster, right from the lift hill. And I've always enjoyed how the coaster is housed. Very cool design and themeing. I love it.
  10. Mmmm Vikings on the History Channel. It gets better and bloodier with each episode.
  11. Very cool idea - but I think the zippers are going to last only so long, before they'll need continual replacement. Maybe they should go (future suggestion) with the more elasticated holders, usually fabric, that hold to the back of the seat in front, etc. Journey in Disney Sea uses them, so does Indy in Disneyland. And the new Grizzly Gulch Mine Cars in HKDL, too. And this doesn't go upside down.... right Chris? (memory loss HERE)
  12. Megalites are definitely my way of enjoying a good coaster, and if there's another designer or company that can clone it, the more the merrier for us, yes? I mean, this is the same as any debut coasters i.e Oblivion, Tranan, 13....? Copies will happen, and hopefully, they'll be just as awesome or even better, than the original. My first - and still my fave of all I have ridden, since 2009. (Piraten)
  13. Deep or Shallow. Hmmm.
  14. I like that it has the great "Thread the Lift Hill" part after the first drop.
  15. This is what caught my eye when I saw the concept drawing, too. That Pit Stop bldg. up top there. So, might the coaster get pulled backwards, right up and into that Pit Stop and then released? And does it do the same for being pulled forwards into the Pit Stop, too? And then released backwards? Curious.
  16. It all looks great, the attention they're doing in this Harry.02 project is really nice.
  17. "Wait For Me" Kings of Leon
  18. On page 16, where the list of proposed SHDL opening day attractions are, and with all this recent celebrating about Happy 50th, "It's A Small World", I remembered that I didn't see IASM on that list. Could this be a deliberate omission, with plans to add it later, or....maybe not? Part of the SHDL map, showing a large bldg. in the upper left corner there, in Fantasyland. Could this be IASM, or the rumored larger Peter Pan attraction? Large building in the upper right is for the "Winnie The Pooh" dark ride, I believe. And the Seven Dwarfs Coaster clone is below that.
  19. Believers - Vampire Weekend
  20. My immediate thought as I saw the video. Great "starter coaster," LOL! Man, I hope I last that long and enjoy coasters, just as much as her (and the others mentioned here) right now.
  21. June can't get here fast enough. (For the TPR Tour)
  22. Definitely one of my favourite parks of any tour I've taken. And so sad to read about Kalinda. I saw them together in the 2010 UK/Europe Tour. Hope they find a mate for Ashok, soon. Loved seeing the evolution of how Vampire came to be. Before trees, LOL! And yes I agree with you about the powered coaster. There was so much to "almost" kill you on how close all the trees and stuff used to be, before the cleanup. But true - FIRE does fix everything! Great report, Craig!
