  1. I just found a better view of it, circa 2004. Still looks intriguing to me, after all these years. Almost looks like a flat Dole Whip, doesn't it?
  2. Loved looking through all of these shots Jason, looking for those "remnants of EXPO" heh heh. That swirly-topped building in one of your shots was the Aquarium at the fair! Is it still such a thing?
  3. ^ Honestly, of the three overseas parks/resorts I've visited, DisneyParis is not at the top of my Great Food List, lol. Sadly. Maybe the Bistro will surprise us, and everybody else. (And for now, it's #3-DisneyParis; #2-HongKongDL; #1-TokyoDLR )
  4. I had read somewhere, that one side of the Bistro would have tables able to have a view of the unload area of the ride? That would be cool to see if it does happen, making those tables a "hot reservation," LOL. Section of tables "looking over" the unload/exit area of the attraction? Bistro schematics. Attraction unload area on the right.
  5. Heartbreak Hotel - Elvis
  6. *** *** And I'm seeing WICKED next Wednesday!
  7. Awesome shots in HKDL and Ocean Park, Divv! I loved Ocean Park, but was so overcome with the heat, that's why I didn't do the ongoing harbor tour with you guys, as well as the dinner, and went back to the hotel to cool off. Looks like you all had a great time AND dinner, too!
  8. ^ Vikings. It was all about Vikings..... More or less. It's a great coaster.
  9. ^ Definitely a happy lucky time for you! Good goin'!
  10. Corkscrew in Playland, PNE Vancouver. I had to convince myself again, that riding it last week with TPR, AND it riding smoothly, was a fluke..... It wasn't. Still pretty good. I was surprised. So congrats to Playland for the upkeep of this Celebrity Coaster, lol. Thar she be - Destination 3...... part of It.
  11. ^ Ah, totally understand. And still, all those great tastings of....so much food. And the beer! Never forget the beer lol!
  12. So much to savor from afar.... By the way - page 914 under thread title? (just noting....)
  13. Awesome, Jason! I had forgotten how much we all really did in Hansa! Except that (&*^%@# Taco Bell Ride (what I call it) never did re-open, best of my knowledge. And those insane guys in the indoor bumper cars! Running around and around, from exit to entrance, riding and riding and riding these things. Freeks.
  14. Great, Elissa! Glad you finally got to ride it! It was a fun morning there, with all the filming. And I found out this past weekend, the ride ops were really happy to FINALLY meet you and Robb, after I'd been going on year after year about you and the TPR Tours. Awesome! And now, with all the great TPR coverage of our "Final Destination 3" Corkscrew , even though there were approx.only a few actual shots of the coaster, and the rest was all effects.... We may never ever get rid of this old rusty Vekoma, thanks to TPR!
  15. Jeff asked in the Reunion Show, how many would have voted for Woo, if Kass was with him in the Final Two. Hands shot up all over from the jury. So that's that.
  16. What a really good look at everything else that Liseberg has to offer, besides the new (and older) coasters, there. Very funny, the guy and his kid in the photo tea cup, eating lunch LOL. And where is a good place to eat in the park, itself? Other than the fast food places? I am curious if you have a favourite. Thanks for a great all-over look at the park!
  17. Sargent Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band (sp?) The Beatles
  18. I totally forget the title, sad, but which was the episode with the woman who has plastic surgery? And speaks through her bandages. And her redone face was "played" by Ellie May!!! (Bev.Hillbillies) That one always got me, with everybody in shadows, or just eyes showing, until that shocking ending. Awesome! Edit: Just remembered, thanks above ^! Eye of The Beholder One of many many classics in the entire series!
  19. "...But what would Tom Petty do?..."
  20. This certainly shows how a Disney castle, is not "just a castle." Blows my mind how much intricate detail and planning is there, even before the major construction begins! I am so looking forward to actually seeing, and going into this castle.
  21. Another visit to the park, yesterday. And I totally forgot about checking out the Cheese Please sandwich stall. Ah well, next visit for sure. But as I left the park, it occurred to me that while there is very little actual "landscaping" in the park itself, outside the park's main entrance, there is a near "forest" of trees on either side of the gates, most of which have been there for a long, long time, as you can see. From the SkyWheel. Lots of stuff going on down there. And yes, there are a few trees here and there onsite. But still, most of them are in "pots" above ground. An AtmosFEAR shot. And all that landscaping, in plain sight.... sort of/kind of/not. (o; Arrrrr, and sez I....everybody still loves that there Scrambler! The park is also starting to add "hedging" around some rides, like the TeaCups. But all of the metal fencing, still looks tacky to me. aaaarrr.... Playland Entrance "Plaza" A bit closer to the ticket booths. The far side of the entrance area.
