Well, someone(s) should be congratulated at really putting some thought into the front coaster car. Great design! -
^ We're not touching our back yard till mid-April, lol. But for now ... Just bought online, a new copy of a 'revival' of young Stephen Sondheim's First Musical "Saturday Night", that never made it to Broadway, because one of the Big Backers of the show, had a sudden heart attack and never recovered from it. Truth! This is the newest version of it, from London. has some well-critiqued melodies and songs in it. So, am looking forward to it, and hearing some "New/Old" Sondheim!

My eyes hurt, from reading all that. -
^ Don't shave, sry. This quote made me laugh out loud... "Trump Says He Loves Canada, but It Should Not Exist"

^ Have to contradict you, as several Disney World sites are now posting that a track-based ride will be created. Here's a post headline from one of those sites: "Walt Disney Imagineering Confirms New Cars-themed Rally Race Attraction Will Use Track-Based Ride System Despite Rumors" (BlogMickey.com) That's what I've been finding. And I am kinda sad that it won't be trackless.

^ I wouldn't be surprised if they did, indeed, use the rotating seats in the attraction itself, like Cosmic Rewind. I envision one part of it, where the seats turn, and you're gliding (and facing) past a whole wall of doors. Or like you said, the seats may remain facing forward, and only turned when unloading/loading it. Eventually, we'll all find out! ...... Ding Dong!

^ Well, they appear to have covered "everything", there. I think. Ha ha? One of my fave Oakwood pix, is of their drop (?) tower And the .... uh .... statue of it .....? On the UK-Europe Tour, 2010. -

Oakwood Park is CLOSING??? Or so the rumors go. It was one of my fave parks in the UK to visit, with TPR. And I gained my 100th coaster credit there, which was really cool to do. I will miss it w/ Megafobia, Bunny Sex Tunnels, Speed, Treetops Coaster..... Myself, on my #100 coaster: Clown Coaster. Oakwood Park, Wales. 2006 TPR UK Tour. -
Food Trivia: Avocados are also known, as Alligator Pears. And they are classified as a fruit. Huh. I forgot all about that. Yum.

^ I am having trouble believing, that Playland does eventually, want to turn into a kind of theme park. This will be expanding the site to a second, lower level, where parking currently is. With more rides, food, games, entertainment stuff. And less than 90 days operation right now, doesn't help me imagine the (future) situation. Bottom part, is where the current Playland sits. Upper part would be the expansion area. And the rides noted, are only name fill-ins for now. But imagine allllll those coasters in one park, hmm? Too awesome to imagine! -
I'm posting this here, because we were watching a big screen movie when 'it' happened. We were watching "Captain America: Brave New World" earlier this afternoon, at one of our regular theatre chains. The movie was 'okay.' Nothing really exciting to report of it. But we enjoyed it, all the same. And then... At roughly 1:30pm, we started to feel the seats shaking, for several seconds. We knew we weren't in one of the theatres with 'motion enhanced' seats. It wasn't till we got home, and I was online, that I found 'the reason' for what happened to us, in the theatre.... We had an earthquake! Apparently it registered 5.1 on The Scale, and the epi-centre was north of Vancouver. And no major damage or casualties were reported. Still, where we live has been so very long overdue, for something a bit ....bigger. But it was an experience to remember.

Rant #2 - Mr. T (never a Prez to me) disses Canada left, right and centre? .... May I remind him that on 9/11/2001, the town of Gander, Newfoundland, CANADA, took several thousand people in, from diverted passenger planes from everywhere, including A LOT of American Passengers, and helped them be as comfortable as they could, thru this immediate crisis. With housing, food, a lot of necessary bathroom items... and love and support. For shame, Mr. Trump.

Canadian customers are starting to abstain (cancel) from buying any product (food, booze, clothing, planned Trips to Orlando!) that have come from the USA.... It's a National Rant! Hmmm. Wonder what caused/started all that?

^ Well, you never know. What is bothering me, that Seasons 2 & 3 of the U.S. version are still not available in Blue-Ray DVD style. Grrr. That said, I know you just posted about it all streamlining, etc. But I still get a bit of a kick to actually have a "tangible" (is that the right word?) form, i.e. able to hold the casing w/ what's enclosed. We have enjoyed figuring out who is who in regards to both series. We felt that the Burned Not-Witch (w/not much in her head), and Flower. And other than "pants off" it would be nice to see more of that...um... headless stuff, lol. By the way, wasn't there a headless character in U.S. version? In the beginning season? Rode a motorcycle, heh. These are both fun series to us. Worth Emmy Noms, wouldn't you agree? Talk about Ensemble Casting! (Haven't mentioned, but including alllll of those basement ghosts, too LOL.)

We just started watching DVDs of the original "GHOSTS", from the UK. And seeing the first two episodes of their first season (they did 5, with Christmas specials!), were really fun. Easily laughable jokes here and there. And obviously interesting to compare this original series to the U.S. version, now in it's fourth (?) season. Worth buying if available, I would say.
