Just found the photo I wanted, to show what I was explaining, i.e. Entry Portal vs. Exit. To the left of the Wizarding World portal, is the Exit with a possible security kiosk, to the left of that. Or maybe it's an information kiosk. Eventually, we'll find out. Thank you to @bioreconstruct and Theme Park Stop for all the info. about Epic Universe's ongoing construction.

^ I will wait, until they come up with a Yorkshire Pudding popcorn, to compliment the Roast Beef popcorn. ...then you buy one of these, and carry them both with you! -
Gave my final payment to David for my share of the what the refrigerator cost (back in late Dec). Great! Now I can take away the extra $150 (cdn) I've been paying to him, since Christmas.

Tokyo Disney Resort Discussion Thread

From what I have read at TDR sites, there is no plan to close down the Peter Pan ride in TDL. I was actually surprised too, when they first announced this new part of Fantasy Springs. But nothing else I have read (rumor or not) about Pan in TokyoDisneyland. And the system for this new Pan ride will involve ride vehicles like those used for Spiderman at IOA! And special effects to simulate ....flying! (woohoo!) The ride vehicle for the new Peter Pan Never Land Adventure! -
Oops. Sorry. I already posted this Covid video on the previous page. Still funny after two years.

^ Honestly, I have no idea where it might be showing, since our Festival last August. But here's the site for more information on the film. https://www.1946themovie.com/ And it may be eventually available for onscreen/television watching. Hope this helps. EDIT To Add: I re-read the main page at the "1946" site ....and there are Virtual Screenings tickets available. Short time only.

^^ Hope all has healed up for you, and you're skating again. Carefully, heh. New "Important" National Food Days here! ...... February 13 – National Tortini Day (So what the heck IS Tortini? Too lazy to Google it.) February 14 – National Cream Filled Chocolates Day (Of course.) February 15 – International Gumdrop Day (lol)

Long time in between, hmmm? March 10th is this year's Oscars. Any (imaginary) bets on who/what wins what?

These shuttle loop coasters are wonderful! Instant adrenaline rush when you 'take off' towards that huge loop. My first one was TIdal Wave in (what it used to be called) Marriott's Great America in Santa Clara, CA. 1995. When we did a re-visit to Knott's and discovered Montezooma, I think I rode it five times that visit! Very sad if Monte is permanently retired, etc. And "Wouldn't it be great," if they replaced it with another shuttle loop coaster? Just wishing <here>... Tidal Wave

^ Portal is main entrance to the Land. The exit from each Land will be separate from the Portal, either on the left or right of it, as you suggest. The best (current) version of this I have seen, is the Harry Potter Universe. If you look at an overhead photo, of the entryway, you'll see what will be an Exit, to the left of the Portal. Hope that helps.

I'm been wondering .... I know the upkeep of such a thing is expensive, but then what else is new? That said... how about a monorail system between EPIC and ...everything else? Make it electric and charge for a ticket/pass like Tokyo Disney does with their monorail. There, it was required (as public transport, with stations) to charge for using it, it's still a wonderful way to tour the Resort. And it was reasonably priced, too. So ....? Still possible to add this?

For myself, it will all come down to the landscaping of this new park. The model and new art renderings clearly show a LOT of trees on either side of each Universe's portal entry way. As well as the Celestial Park itself. Except for where Dark Universe is, lol. That looks barren already, except for the gnarled roots around the portal, etc. That will interesting to watch, too. Exciting times!

Chita Rivera, age 91. I was so lucky to see her live on stage not once, but three times! She came to Vancouver during a late 1960's Festival, playing Charity in the tour "Sweet Charity." Then I saw her in 1976 in New York, as the original Velma Kelly in the original run of "Chicago." And then, after she had won the Tony for her role in "Kiss of The Spider Woman," she toured with the show - which I find most original Broadway leads never do - and I saw her twice when she was here with the show. She also was the original Anita in the original cast of "West Side Story." One of a kind she was. Bless her for blessing us with her talent and charm.

Had to get a brand new refrigerator the week before Christmas weekend! $940 (cdn) But we had the House Savings account for something like this. Still. timing was NOT perfect, lol.

I posted it with my 2012 TPR China Tour TR. It was at Hollywood Hotel in Hong Kong DL, in the main buffet restaurant where we enjoyed our final meal together, before most of everybody left for home the next day. I stayed on one extra night, so I could get 1-1/2 days extra, enjoying the park. All of our table with The Chef, in a non-rant mood, lol. Sept.28-2012.

Reminder that the EMMY Awards are tomorrow night. For those of you, who enjoy rooting for your fave show, that's nominated.

I put her obit here, as it should be. Glynis Johns, the English actress who played the original Mrs. Banks in the film "Mary Poppins", and was the first actress to sing Stephen Sondheim's "Send In The Clowns" from the musical "A Little Night Music" ... has passed away at age 100. In "Mary Poppins", being a wife, a mother... and a suffragette, too! (1964) As Desiree Armfeldt in Sondheim's "A little Night Music". (1973) About to sing 'that song'.
