  1. This year's PNE in Vancouver is again having an "Out At The Fair Day" on Thursday, August 29th. The deal is, you buy rainbow socks from the Vancouver Pride Society (they have a booth at the Pride Parade Festival site Aug.04), wear them to The Fair, and you get in FREE! They cost $15 Cdn a pair, which is a great price, IMhO. And they put an ad in this year's Pride Guide. Https://www.pne.ca/ways-to-save/ (8th one down, on the list)
  2. I need to make it out to Knoebels some year! Great TR with a lot of awesome photos!
  3. I remember there was a big "double seater" Enterprise at Space World in Japan. That was amazing to ride. And there was one in Cosmoworld, Japan, too. But it wasn't running at the time. And here in Vancouver, Playland(PNE) has it's own Enterprise, which I've ridden a number of times. In the last few years, I've been ending up with a headache, after riding. So I don't ride it very much, any more. Cosmoworld's Enterprise on a tilt. It wasn't spinning, either. TPR 2013 Japan Tour. Playland's Enterprise is still running strong. I took this photo yesterday, at the park.
  4. ^ It's cheaper to film in Canada, most times. Regardless what park it is. Would have been funnier if it was filmed in La Ronde.
  5. ^ Dare I say, it all looks DELICIOUSLY GORGEOUS! Um, you taking reservations at your place, at all?
  6. ^ AHA! Great, now! I look forward to going through it all. Thanks!
  7. I love it all. Thanks for all the new photos of Tokyo Disney. I miss it. Even the new stuff I haven't experienced, yet!
  8. Hmmm. Your IMAGES aren't showing up here, to me. But that might be my system. Just saying.
  9. "You And Me (But Mostly Me)" from the Broadway cast cd of The Book of Mormon.
  10. A traffic accident during "rush hour traffic", ha! What's worse than not hearing your alarm clock?
  11. Great report of a park I don't read about, too much. Beautiful photos, too! Thanks for taking the time to post your trip there, here!
  12. ^ They were all in awe of the view, as you were, when you all got up there, lol. Great report, Bert.
  13. Gorgeous shots of those mountains you took! And is Switzerland $till as ex$pen$ive as I remember it, several years ago?
  14. ^ LOLOL! That's something! Your son has a future in "performance arts," lol! I do hope he was okay, after that experience.
  15. I still don't remember what made us all laugh on it, but a coaster we rode in the TPR 2012 China Tour, had us in fits at the end of the ride. I'm pretty sure it was somebody (a local, perhaps?) who was screaming during the entire ride, and it must have been quite the 'unusual' scream, because we were all laughing our heads off when we came back into the station. And somebody got a photo of us, too! It was in Chimelong Paradise Park. On Young Star Coaster. And THANK YOU to whoever took this photo! It's been awhile. I forget.
  16. Schlange von Midgard Hansa Park (Sierksdorf, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany) TPR 2014 Scandi Tour.
  17. ^ Oh okay, thanks. Good to know. I thought they'd already widened the time period by now, but I guess not. Also, I checked ahead, and it appears they are opening the parks way earlier in September, than I remember them doing back in 2016. Like...8 am openings in DL vs. 10 am back then? Eep. And the Early Morning on the Tuesday we're going will be at (gulp) 7 am. Since we'll be using transit (#460) to DL from the Knott's Hotel every morning, it's definitely early rising those days. I assumed this is all for Galaxy's Edge, and Sept. not being blacked out for all the Yearly Passholders (of the various levels). This'll be a fun 4-5 days when we're there, lol.
  18. ^ Ha! Was trying to find that "photo map" in the thread. Best - Pierogies Map - Ever!
  19. Is it my imagination, or are a lot of the reservations for SW:GE Oga's Cantina already taken up, for when we're there in mid September? If so, wow, that was quick! Guess we'll have to have cocktails in other parts of the Disneyland Resort Kingdom, lol.
  20. Rutger Hauer. "All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain." (Blade Runner)
  21. Well, here it is, two weeks later and it's Park 'n' Burger Day #4 today. From a Playland visit to BF. I had the Belgian Fries' Beef Burger, which isn't really that special compared to the other burgers here. But with a couple of added condiments (ketchup & mustard), plus a spread of one of their 'kickier' Mayo Dips (Jamaican Heat), it was a great messy thing! I really enjoyed it. The fries seemed "different" as they were larger and longer, to me. Maybe it was just me. But it was good. A very good burger and fries. So here's the list of them all, in order of (my) preference... Ultimate Burger Chicken Burger Beef Burger Salmon Burger Veggie Burger Next week, or later on, I plan to treat myself to another "My #1 Choice", The Ultimate. YUM! And here's the photos I took, today... Here we go, again. Ready and waiting. This is it! Very juicy beef patty. And the fries look a bit bigger than I've seen, before. Hmmm. Starting to get messy here. And messier still. But I ate it all! (o:
