On the Border Uncle Julio's Pei Wei Olive Garden Scotty P's - yumm awesome burger place, cardiac fries are to die for!! IHOP - stuffed french toast w/ strawberries!! Geez all this crap, but it's so good.. I can already envision myself suckin' in my gut to be able to hear that click on MF's seatbelt!!

This really looks amazing. Just the ride to the top looks scary. It looks as if I will need take a trip to HW.

I was a little skeptical also considering the bad reviews it was receiving. We stayed there for three nights back in July of 2007. I thought it was a pretty decent place. Clean rooms, it was quiet on our end of the motel. Vending machines were a little pricey, they pretty much had the same price on them as they would in the park vending machines. I just enjoyed the little things around the motel, things such as the huge color posters of CP when you come in to the lobby. I also like the little soaps and shampoo's and such that had CP's logo's on them. I would stay there again. Like everyone says, "you are just sleeping there", and after a long day at the park, thats all you want to do.

Wow, and I though the State Fair of Texas was a great fair. This German fair makes it look like Looney Tunes USA! Ha Ha!! Amazing looking rides. XXL, the 120ft version of the Afterburner, OMG, that looks really intense. I love the Afterburner, I would love to ride this. Thanks for the great TR.

Yay, I just got my passport in the mail and it only took 10 days..without expediting it!!! Jamaica, here I come!!

If KD was still my homepark I would be extremely grateful. You have to remember not everyone likes roller coasters!! Take for instance my Godson Matthew. He is 7 years old, and he is terrified of coasters, he won't even ride Mini Mine Train or Canyon Blaster. When SFoT received the 10 new flats in 2006 I was very happy. Who cares if they were hand me downs. I love seeing him ride these. It's fun to take be able to ride stuff together, such as the Huss Breakdancing Bulls we got from Great Adventure. I love seeing they joy in his face. To me, thats what it's all about!!

Ah hahaha!! I have heard a few of them in my time, especially dropping down MF's or Titans first drop. I remember one time while riding B:TR this one guy was telling his family, "oh its an awesome ride, you'll have a blast".Then he was screaming like a girl the whole time. The first thing he did when he got off was run over the to trash can an toss his cookies.

I do like Nitro's pre- lift. Even though Mean Streak and the Texas Giant are brutal, I love both of their pre-lifts also!!

I had probs with it Wed. I was at work and I couldn't access the biggest part of the day. It froze up my screen everytime, I kept having to go into the task manager to get out. I even tried different PC's!! So..you wern't alone!!!

That would be my homepark SFoT. I can't even count how many times I have been since it became my home park 18 years ago. The next would be KD. It was my home park before we moved to Texas.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that it hurts, time is about the only thing that can heal your pain. I lost my Godson James on Mothers Day, May 13 2007. He was 9, he had Burketts Lymphoma, he had two Bone Marrow Transplants, beat the Cancer and finally went home. He passed two weeks later from CMV, his immune systems was non existent after all the chemo and radiation. It has been a little over a year now. It still hurts, however, when I think of him and start to cry I just try and think of all the good times we had and all the crazy stuff he did, and I do mean crazy!! One of the articles I read today had a statement from the mother of the boy. She stated that her son did nothing wrong, and that he was just in the wrong place, at the wrong time!! Geez, ya think?? He was 100 percent at fault, and he paid with it with the ultimate penalty, his life!! It just peeves me to no end that people just can't ever take responsibility for their own actions. Its just like smoking and drinking. People tend to blame the cigarette and alcohol companies for their cancer/accidents! HELLO...you smoked/drank. No one forced you to do it. It's the same concept with the boy, any normal person with half a brain would realize the danger, regardless how high the fences are or how many signs are posted. I would imagine the park would go higher with the fences along with more signs that they were told to put up. I took a drive by Six Flags over Texas today, I noticed that all the fences around Batman:TR that run parallel Copeland Road and the strip mall beside it must be at least 10 feet high, some even look higher in spots. The have a slick mesh on the out side of the fence, which would make it pretty hard to climb. The top of the fence is barbed wire. I hope SFoG does something similar to this.

Headin' to East Texas with some friends. We have built a cabin on my friends parents property. 200 acres of big trees, a nice big pond, peace and quiet, fishing and four wheeling. Yay, we go every chance we get. I can smell the pine trees now. Nothing like stepping out on your front porch in the morning with a cup of coffee in your hand and just kicking back in a big wooden rocker with nothing important to do!!

I had a dream last night that I got bit by a brown recluse spider on my arm and it left a big hole in it!!

I'm actually really surprised no one on the train was hurt. I remember when the maintenance worker was hit, the leg of the rider who hit him was broken. I have no pity for the boy, for his family yes. I really wouldn't be surpised that in the "Sue Happy" world we live in, the family finds some way to sue the park, time will tell!!
