  1. Guys, it doesn't matter if it's Oakland. There's tons of things named Oakland in this country (USA) and probably throughout the world. *facepalm at the name fiasco* Seriously.
  2. I believe B&M was getting up and running in the mid 90's, seeing how their first standup's were built under the guise of Intamin AG. I have a hunch, with the rest of you that this is a B&M. This reeks of fish.
  3. You took a hotdog and made it sound better, I like fried candy bars like the next man. But, seriously that sounds delish.
  4. ^ B&M invert restraints are hard as rocks at times. Hopefully this encourages B&M to use a firm, yet softer foam for their restraints. I've gotten cold-cocked on Raptor in the past, along with Great Bear at Hersheypark. I'm not surprised.
  5. I think also bunting is discouraged in Softball, well when it comes to HS softball and college it's discouraged.
  6. ^ Did you happen to watch the Ghost Adventures episode on it? They caught some interesting activity and EVP's.
  7. Hey everyone, this pertains to mainly members in the Missouri-St. Louis area. I'm going to be at Six Flags St. Louis next weekend, and I have two dates planned out. I'll be there Sunday if the weather's nice, otherwise I'll be there Monday if it's nasty Sunday. Would anyone like to meet up with me at the park? I'm going to have my mother with me, and she's not the thrillseeker kind of person. But she does approve of this activity, and that I meet some members so I can ride with some people I know via the interwebz. Lemme know in response, if you can meet up. It'd be an informal thing for like, oh, 3-4 hours and then we'd go our separate ways for the rest of the day. I hope the weather goes well, and we have a small, impromptu meetup.
  8. ^ What I had to do to access your saved game, is stop the flicker bar by pulling the disc out and then putting in it again. I have a no-cd crack also enabled, so that also maybe the problem. It was from when I couldn't find my RCT2 disc awhile ago and I had to resort to that, despite how wrong it is for an RCT2 gamer to do so. But, it works now. I did have two dat's I had to remove, so thank you!
  9. ^ no, and I've had no luck. I can't understand it, my game never did this in the past and now it begins to act up? UGH!
  10. Time to revive this thread for the big man, and hit in the clutch to give it some needed attention. All things good again on your side, Mike? I'm thinking of you alot.
  11. ^ With those inversions being designed, it brings the possibility one day of some coaster being the most epic coaster ever made. And plus, if anyone could build a crazy design like that and MAKE it rideable. It would've been Anton himself.
  12. ^ I took one look at that and was like "WHAAAAT?!"
  13. Dear god. Words cannot describe the horrors I just saw. I think I'm going to hurl all over the pizza guy when he comes.
  14. It's not all about the monetary donations, be sure to keep the Koch family and Holiday World staff in your prayers. While money donations are nice Wes, it's more about encounters and the memories. What you're doing is nice, no doubt about it. But this is one of those occasions where talking about him helps people to remember him more then money ever will. That's what remembrance is all about, not money, but the memories.
  15. Robb got tired of the word being used too much at one point, and I think there's a whole topic on the Six Flags loc.ker policy somewhere on the site where we used the word so much. It drove alot of people nuts. So that's why L ocker has that result.
  16. I found out about it from the Cedar Point-On Point! blog, and I have to say. I'm totally saddened by the loss, I extend my prayers and tears for Holiday World and the Koch family and the entire Holiday World staff. This man was an amusement park legend, and he died doing and building something he loved. He'll never be forgotten, and this is truly a sad day in the Amusement industry. God Bless you Will. We'll miss you, good sir. “The good die young - because they see it's no use living if you've got to be good” John Barrymore
  17. First park of 2010: Cedar Point First Coaster: Gemini First Wooden: Blue Streak First Steel: Gemini First Flat: Skyhawk all for now
  18. ^^ That saved game with no expansions, broke my game. Now I get the flickering load bar of death whenever I try to load RCT2. I really wanted to see this. Stupid RCT2 and Vista.
  19. Way to go Six Flags, now you have a huge-ass PR disaster on your hands. I really want to see how Six Flags makes up for this, will they take a loss or make up and make amends? But seriously, if the band approved of it, Six Flags should issue an apologizing statement for their security's actions. Honestly, reading the whole thing, and reading what the SF security did. I think Six Flags did a terrible thing in response to something ATL liked and almost approved of. Sorry if I sound horrible, but this is a tad ridiculous and somewhat sad.
  20. This is going to be a fun World Cup to watch this month, along with 2006 this is going to excellent and entertaining. For all USA and UK TPR members, may the best team or best man win tomorrow. Best of luck! Other words, I'm cheering for the USA, Italy, Germany and England if they beat us.
  21. ^^ Niagara Falls has an attraction center called Clifton Hill which has a couple of large arcades, a drop ride theme to the WWE and a couple of haunted/themed house walkthroughs. Be aware of the houses you walkthrough, they WILL not issue refunds and if you get scared of doing it after paying you're screwed out of 5-6 dollars. But, besides the falls, that's the only thing I can think of. I haven't been to Niagara Falls in three years, so there might be new things there.
