  1. Don't underestimate Detroit - We've been known to pull things out of our sleeves that alot of fans don't expect. Contract modifications and resigning galore, Batman! The summer game in 2012 is going to be very, very interesting to say the least. This is the year Verlander pitches his perfecto - bringing us what was rightfully ours afew years ago finally to us. KC's always been a non-factor - they just can't get their act together. One team I can see making noise in the NL Central is Pittsburgh, they made some last summer. But this year? We'll have to wait and see - I see a winning record for that franchise in their future. The AL West will be a power battle this year - I remember when that division wasn't a threat or was a minor threat at best. Now it's become a powerful and contending division - watch out!
  2. and while we may not respond - we are watching. I know that the begging wasn't intended, but this post reeks of "people respond anyway to make it look like it's popular". I, in no means meant that as a mean-spirited comment. Some parks on here get amazing download rates and have little to no comments or critiques. It's all a matter of patience and persistence when it comes to building and making your dreams and parks really come to life. I mean, c'mon, take a look at Charleston Gardens/SFCG and it started out with little or no attention and grew as time went on. I commend your actions in having this park have attention. I know, it may seem like awhile before people really pick up the slack and do something with it. Well, it's a matter of playing the waiting game. You have to wait and see, Stay through the storm and you'll do fine.
  3. If I remember right - Zamperla added one of these mini-frisbees to Coney Island. It's actually quite fun, it's kinda like a playground tire swing that doesn't actually spin you silly. However, speaking of their larger and more spinful brothers and sister frisbees - that's a WHOLE different ballgame and attraction. Either it be Huss or Zamperla!
  4. The bacon is the problem - replace it with sausage links or patties and you got a meal made in heaven for some Americans. For me - Smoked eel is one of the more weirder things I've tried and liked when I was in Germany a couple years ago. Good stuff, it was just funny the eel came from our Great Lakes here in Michigan and in the Midwest.
  5. Yeah - I missed it. I saw it now though. How silly of me.
  6. I remember sending my own package on the 19th. I can even have my dad vouch for me! He was at the post office with me when I dropped the thing off.
  7. Baseball Trivia book Green Bay Packers shares - I'm an NFL owner Web Animation self-help book 10 dollar GameStop card 100 dollar game or game system voucher from my dad A stocking of goodies
  8. All the goodies! I got my package today - Thanks Elissa! thanks ever so much! I love the shirt and legos. I was NOT expecting that many pens/pencils/candy, some of the candy canes got mashed though as the photo will show. Thanks for making my holidays even more brighter, I hope to be in attendance of another trip fairly soon. Also - a verbal thank-you! 9. There are things I would do and things I wouldn't do. This is under the category of "you'll have to shoot me in the back to do" category, the concept in text and reading it makes me sick. It's kinda not smart for me to read this, when I'm eating late-night Taco Bell. Ergh, I think I just ruined my craving for this other food I have. Yick!
  10. Got my package out in the mail - it's on the way!
  11. Seriously, I'm really thinking about doing this. The only problem I have is once I reach LA and the out-lying areas. I need a ride from someone to Knotts and SFMM and back to my hotel. Or, worst comes to worst I could live with someone for afew days and head back home. Mind, not all of this is set in stone - just really thinking out loud for others to hear me out. I really hope I can go - just to do some sweet Christmas/Santa talking.
  12. Finally got around to packing my box - hope my target or person likes what I got them. Will send the box out tomorrow morning - it's on it's way!
  13. Have the box and stuff ready - just need to wrap it all tonight and get the suckers out tomorrow morning. It'll be on it's merry way very, very soon!
  14. Lolwut? I have a 76 minute concert (Avenged Sevenfold Live in the LBC), and it takes up 930.5 MB... If it's HD or a higher-quality it'll take more space obviously!
  15. Miller Lite at a Red Wings game Thursday night - 7.25 for 16oz. It's a sports event, what do you expect?
  16. No - you forfeit your place in line. That's how I remember it - it doesn't save your spot, persay.
  17. I bought some books that are decent reads and I might throw some local made products into mix. I dunno, like locally made candy here in Royal Oak, etc. I was going to ship some beer from the RO Brewery, but I cannot ship liquids - alas.
  18. Re-sent. Hopefully this time it'll actually work
  19. My seventh year anniversary is coming up here on TPR in about two months. Hot Damn! EDIT: Even though it's afew weeks late - w0000t!
  20. I just checked my inbox - dunno if you've sent one to me Brandy. But, if you have it hasn't come yet and it's two days later. Just thought I'd drop you a line.
  21. I'm in line - I'm at 12+ hours almost 13 hours. I'm ElvenAmerican - logged in through Twitter, I'm a yeti with a tophat. EDIT: I'm also wearing a blue Star Trek uniform.
  22. It's bittersweet - I have memories of my 13 and 14 year old self screaming it's brains out on Pitt Fall. My uncle commented on it and he said he never really liked the ride because four times out of five they could never get the OTSR down far enough for him to ride. Pitt Fall - you were great. Thanks for being my 1st 2nd gen Intamin freefall.
  23. Worst I've had - was I've blacked out on Raging Bull at Six Flags Great America. It was the third or fourth ride that day, I was sitting near the back I think 2nd to last row. I blacked out for a couple seconds between the last few hills and the turn before the brake run. EDIT: Forgot to mention, this was 6-7 years ago. I think 2004-2005.
  24. In my book? La Ronde. I think enough has been said Off-topic: Anyone on this site been to Six Flags Mexico? Sorry for asking, but I'm ever so curious.
