  1. Never take hope away from someone, it may be all they have. This park can be saved, they just need a new owner.
  2. Biggest piece of garbage I've ever heard. Suicide Mouse? bahhhh.
  3. Well, I set up a Netgear-N router by myself and it takes about 20-30 minutes. Just follow the instructions the installation program gives you, and you should be fine. Also, if you're not sure how to turn off your modem in the process of installing the router, contact your ISP or service provider. Netgear's the only one I recommend, because it's the only one my family uses! I would think, any router can be uses with wireless printing, although I COULD be wrong (oh, and off-topic note: this is my 5th anniversary post! woohoohoo! )
  4. ^ I think you're being a little too unthoughtful. Magnum was built for 1989, so YES, a hyper coaster is possible!
  5. Happy Birthday TPR Forums! a Happy five years! This certain member's (me) is going to be celebrating his fifth anniversary soon. Woohoo.
  6. To those who lost against the Big Man this year, I have one thing to say to keep your hopes up: Good things come to those who wait! But, Congrats Mike! Way to got!
  7. There's been quite a few of us waiting patiently for an Arrow multi inversion coaster. I'd love to see a smaller scale version of Steel Phantom. HMMMMMMMMM.......I remember a similar thing I said earlier in this thread, maybe great minds think alike in this situation? I also really want to see what's going to go down in the 1990's for this park, because for all I know the 00's are going to be something of note say the least.
  8. Anyone see the BoostMobile ad? "My tight end in a cheetah print THONG!" I barfed. End of story. The ads were terrible this year, the last few years, including XLIII last year had excellent ads. This year was just bad.
  9. ^ Hey man. I was glad to help you out when I could and it was alot of watching this park from the ground up. You did some great work, and it deserves good faith and some good reviews. I've seen plenty of great parks in my day, and this is one of the best I've seen. I can't wait for it to come, and by the way, I was prepared for mostly anything on this park. But not this, not for something this size and this excellent. Great work man. I look forward to your next park in the days ahead. See ya around!
  10. The Northeast Trip is the one I'm looking at for now, and it sounds awesome since I've always wanted to go up in that direction for parks. Road to CP is my 2nd option, because I know those parks well and I'd have fun on the trip anyhow, despite being on most of the coasters at the parks listed. I'd have fun showing newcomer TPR members around CP and Kings Island!
  11. ^ I was at Knoebels' this past summer and they were no where close to done with Flying Turns. But, I agree with the other's on what parks to hit that's pretty much Pennsylvania at it's best. Come back and hit whatever you missed when you have the time, it'll be there when you return.
  12. Cedar Point's didn't start until 1995, I believe so I think it'll be a while still before Halloween related will start. Most of the parks that have them in real life, started them in 1994-95.
  13. What about also the other name of that, and her sister? Debbie Downer? Plus, the say something about time playing the game. Matt, alot of the people at NE have been playing the game (the staff mainly) for over 10+ years like me. I've been playing since the series 1st game came out in 1996 and I love being part of TPR's game forum. Despite I post next to nothing coaster game related. EDIT notice: I didn't know he-ated became a censored word. odd. *Cough* errr...sorry...back on topic now.... *Cough*
  14. Well. Wouldn't this compete for customers and guests? Because SF Great America is literally a short time outside of Chicago. Something obvious I noticed.
  15. In short, it's his thread and also it's fun to experiment. You may not agree, but I too find experiments fun and I think this thread is worth looking at. Stoksy, keep the stuff coming! I find hacked rides fun to look at and watch! EDIT: BTW, mcjaco, we make a good doubleteam pair. You're a reasonable moderator, and I'm a reasonable veteran member.
  16. I like the design, but it just doesn't seem very TPR. But hey, it's not up to me, it's up to you Robb. Your move! It runs fine under Opera, just as an FYI too, Robb.
  17. ^ Hey, I respect the decision. I still have the first two Coaster Season's on VHS tape, back when they were still called "Robb Alvey's Coaster Season 2001 and 2002." *raises glass* Here's to the series, and to a continuing good ride with the DVD's/Blu-Ray's. I'm glad that I've supported both series until now!
  18. ^^ I wasn't clear on that, I was abit amazed by the fair and I'm really surprised they haven't attempted to become a full-time park yet. I know it's not going to happen at all, but it's somewhat of an interesting concept say the least.
  19. I'm personally surprised this fair hasn't built gates yet and charged an admission fee and a season pass. This fair is HUGE! One of the must hit's I have planned for whenver I get out to the West coast. Well, it's a possibility in the future I hope if I ever go to the fair, I'll have to head to Seattle as well. Nice TR, and nice photos.
  20. Well Stoksy, don't be deterred from this. I had a contest awhile back, at the end of 2008 and it only had I think three entries in the end. I may have another contest, but finding a subject for it is very difficult.
  21. Hey, it looks like you're having a great time Robb! I hope all's going well and that you have a good and safe time the rest of the trip. Damn, I need to get on one of these cruises or trips. They look like so much fun, I'm missing out!!
  22. I can't even begin to imagine what this park's going to do when the coasterwars of the 90's/00's begins to warm up. It starts at the end of this decade, but jeez, following the coasterwars will be fun.
  23. Well, I'll be heading out to California at the end of next year, so this is something I should try out if I get the chance. Sounds good!
  24. ^ WOW. JUST WOW! That would be something I would never be able to pull off by myself, good work on the hackjob! hehehe, hackjob.... sounds so frikking wrong....
