I like it. It makes the standard one look sorta cartoony and ...old. Can't wait until Windows Vista comes out...

RCT3 Rides
ShoubraStreet74 replied to Romency's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
WOW All those pics looks really good. I wish I had that kind of scenery and ride building skill with rct3. Good Job with all of those! -
Yup, I know what you're talking about. Very strange that watching a video would produce a feeling like that. I mean, there are obviously no physical feelings that go along with it, but it sorta creates the same mental sensation. Ehh. sorta hard to explain it, but the first drop from the Big Boom POV had the same effect for me. Here's the link: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21424

Wow. You must have way too much time on your hands. That was pretty weird. -
What is "defense" and "offense" riding? I've never heard of those phrases before..

Photo TR: Six Flags Magic Mountain
ShoubraStreet74 replied to haux's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I have only ridden Psyclone once, and have been reluctant to ride it ever since. So much pain in the stomach/back (and I'm not someone who usually complains of coaster roughness) Anyway, great photo TR! I always like reading the sfmm TRs for some reason, and this one was quite good. -
Supports Help
ShoubraStreet74 replied to coasterlover420's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Unfortunately, I don't think there's a way. You can only save track, not supports or scenery. -

Whats the most involving coaster area?
ShoubraStreet74 replied to ChrisFL's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Riddler's Revenge and Xcelerator, the queue line goes under most of the coaster in both of those rides. -

The "Say Something Random" Thread

If you drop a few mentos into a bottle of soda it should shoot up like 10-20 feet in the air. That seemed random enough.. -
Roller Coaster Riding World Record
ShoubraStreet74 replied to Eagle Rider's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Something really smooth, painless, and boring. But seriously I would not want to do that. I would imagine the guy would go insane after going through the same pattern of motion for thousands of times in a row. That and it would totally kill a ride for me to ride it so many times, I would never want to ride it again. -
Help!!!
ShoubraStreet74 replied to cooljuggler's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
In that case, screenshots from RCT2 can be found (by default) in the C:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 folder -
RCT 1/2/3 Rants!
ShoubraStreet74 replied to Luxo's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
^ Yeah the good old game lag annoyance. Although I have to agree about this. I consider my PC to be high end and the game still lags alot when I load a huge park, although you really can't blame the game for this; considering the amount that it's rendering, it's surprising it lags as little as it does. I can see why some people prefer rct2 because of this issue alone. The load times also get horrendous as the park increases in size. -
Help!!!
ShoubraStreet74 replied to cooljuggler's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Well you didn't mention what game it is you're talking about, but just by probability, I'll assume it's RCT3. If that's the case, RCT3 screenshots are saved to the My Documents/My Pictures/RCT3 folder. Hope that helped... -
The "Post your favorite Simpson Quotes" Game

My quote takes the form of this video clip: http://www.spikedhumor.com/articles/9325/The_Simpsons_Portrait_Of_An_Ass_Grabber.html It's from the episode where Homer is accused of sexual harassment. Enjoy. -
RCT 1/2/3 Rants!
ShoubraStreet74 replied to Luxo's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
The coaster design tool in all of the games. There are some simple changes that would make coasters more realistic and look better, but the coaster designer is really primitive and sloppy. I wish there was just a way to import Nolimits coasters, that would be great in rct, but the way it is now is not realistic at all and very messy. I still love the game though... -
^Agreed. The Revolution looks really lame to me.

WOW.   This park really is amazing. I could only manage a frame rate of 5-10, but it didn't matter, I could still get the idea of the hugeness and insane detail in this park. Good Job! btw, ECZenith, what exactly are your computer specs and how well does it run for you? I have an nvidia 6800GT with 256mb and 1GB of ram and it really lags for me. :?

I would choose black based on the pictures. But then again you can never tell what it will look like in person.
