  1. Chuck, you just reached a new level of awesome. Great stuff!
  2. This is good idea! Isn't the flexibility to have as much or as little info you want plus a few ways to sort it all, great? I do something similar with my photo archive on my blog. I'll put the year and the attraction for the title, link it to the corresponding Facebook album, and it goes into a number list kind of like a bullet list. Thanks for putting up an example of your organization and giving other folks an example to base theirs off.
  3. My deepest sympathies. Those poor people.
  4. CTU_Agent said: You hit the nail on the head and glad folks are ok. Poor Paula, Pat, and co. They had to be concerned too.
  5. Glad to see all the improvements and great coverage here. Got a kick out of the Alabama and Auburn Rapids boats, although you'd think they'd replace the headrests from where the Soul Glo people sat. Oh well, the new management is trying to brighten the place up. Kudos to them. Hope to make it down there in a few weeks to have a look. Until then, again, great job in highlighting the good things.
  6. Ooh ooh! A printersdevil TR. Hold on, I'll get the popcorn because this is gonna be good. Great start thus far and will follow.
  7. Wow. This one is just so left field. Well, in a weird way it makes sense, since KI just got a big daddy icon coaster, KD, the sister park would need one, although it seems awfully soon to upstage Dominator. Even so, great news and looking forward to the construction. Happy for the KD folks.
  8. Shane, congrats on getting this VERY cool water park open, despite the weird weather. Know you're a proud poppa in many regards and most pleased for you. Really like this whole concept and hope to check it out in the next few years. Very well done! Beemerboy wrote: Listen to this wise man.
  9. Here's a red little buddy from the Memphis Zoo too. Behold! Red Panda! (Sounds like a Kung Fu movie doesn't it?) Red Panda...through the tree!
  10. Finally got to try this last weekend on the trip to Memphis, Tennessee. Tasted like RC and sour apple had a strange love child. Didn't care for it, but to each his own anyway. Well, that explains why my left eye was twitching later in the evening...
  11. Wow. The Rapids MIGHT be the best ride in the park. Bias aside, that's pretty funny. Hope to get up to this one this summer and appreciate not only the Rapids pics, but the great preview. Glad to see Viper is still doing well. Glad you all are having fun on your travels and the steam powered robot minions are toasting oil and green tea in your honor. Many thanks!
  12. This was just a good fun trip report. Enjoyed this. Thanks for putting it up.
  13. Emailing Dan soon to save the Big Man. DT, you rock and you don't know how hard I laughed at that. Thanks! Big Mike, thanks for the recent Rapids shots and quality entertainment during this trip. You and Robb (and Elissa too!) have done a great job and it's greatly appreciated.
  14. This is great news! Glad to see things back on track on hope the constructions folks got a round of applause for their work in getting everything built again. Would Larry Kurzweil be the same fellow related to the keyboards and synthesizers from years ago? If so, very cool as well.
  15. Looks like a fun trip and definitely entertaining. Some of those shots would be EXCELLENT additions to the Park Index (wink wink nudge nudge), particularly the color shot of of the swings with the sign. Enjoyed the water park and Rapids pics much too. Always appreciated. Hey, I'd get a picture with Pat Koch too. Being a Nerd has it's merits. Thanks for sharing this one. Will get to the SFKK PTR shortly.
  16. In the next few years, I'd like to see BGT get a b&M hyper to compliment Sheikra. Even so, additions are still additions and that's good to see in the crazy economy AND the crazy circumstances with the company.
  17. Proving once again that trip updates are a privilege and can be damn hilarious, Robb comes through! This has got to be the funniest trip update I've EVER read from you. "There are no midgets in this photo"? Awesome. Dan wrote: I really enjoyed this one. Thanks. This is a terrific picture and really makes you smile. The looks on your faces are great.
  18. Just wanted to drop a quick note. Been following the updates here and in Big Mike's thread and this one seems on par with the usual high bar fun. Glad Terry made it there after the delay and thanks much for the Rapids shots of late in both threads. KT on a couple of the frog hoppers was really cute too. Cheers and best to everybody on the trip and thanks for more than a few laughs. Best to all.
  19. The usual suspects eh? This promises to be most entertaining. Glad you all had a great and safe start to the trip, especially at Freestyle Music Cafe. Have a great time and cheering you on from here. Also, thank you in advance for taking time out of your very busy schedule to post any updates. Much appreciated!
  20. Always great to see a Natatomic PTR. To echo others, for the time the new regime has had to redo things, the park looks pretty good. Keeping good thoughts all around on this one and thanks for posting this. EDIT: Kudos for that VERY telling tumbleweed picture.
  21. Glad to see an update from this park. Bummer that the old Wild World water slides are just sitting there. They were fun to ride. No appologies needed on the Rapids shot. The thought is worth it's weight in gold my friend. Oh, and this has be one of the funniest things I've ever read: Yep, GREAT report!
  22. You and Matt just made my day. You, for all these great pictures and Matt for this: Awesome!
  23. Enjoyed this report, and thank you too for the White Water Canyon shots. Really appreciate those. Misty really hit one out of the park with that shot of the train and Diamondback. Well done to the both of you.
  24. Hmmm...didn't care for Red Bull and if I have to get used to it, it doesn't sound like I'm missing too much, although a part of me still wants to try it. The power of suggestion is a funny thing eh?
  25. Now this was cool to see and I'd be willing to check this out. Last time I was at the Nashville Zoo, it was around '96 and you had to take 24 west to get it somehow. Grassmere seems a big improvement over what I saw back then. As far as the bowling goes, I'm pretty consistant. Yes, I consistantly hit the gutter in the same place every time. Enjoyed this and and thanks for the pinball shots too.
