I love the look of this ship, especially the virtual portholes in the interior cabins. When I took my cruise last year our cabin was so dark we ended up sleeping in well past the time we wanted to wake up at. Having a "window" will be really nice for those on the interior. The water coaster just looks plain awesome and makes me want to see much more of this ship. ...must...book...cruise...need more money.

You think they would have released it a few days earlier in time for Christmas.

Odd looking supports
chemical_echo replied to TTDluv123's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The first one looks like someone's first attempt at supporting a NoLimits coaster. I always liked the Great Bear one though...just thought it looks cool. -
Looks like a weird piece from a 3D puzzle

The "Pigtail" It's what connects your ripcord to the launch release on a skycoaster. (I knew having my manual still would pay off)

My school is selling the Ultimate Edition to students for $7.50, so naturally I bought it. I just haven't installed it on my PC yet since it's an old POS that I plan on replacing soon. I am going to make sure that I build a computer that can take advantage of it's features (especially the TV recording one). -
High School/Middle School Dances

I went to one in my final year of high school because I girl I liked talked me into it. I hated it. I skipped prom the year of my graduation, but went the year later when I did my victory lap. -
Boy floats away in homemade helium balloon
chemical_echo replied to Kennyweird's topic in Random, Random, Random
^That's very true. If you watch Mythbusters you would have seen that it took them something like 5000+ balloons to life a small girl. There's no way that balloon could have lifted the boy. Let's also not forget that if he was in the balloon, he probably would have died from lack of oxygen well before he landed. -

I wonder who the blame will be put on. The parents for not knowing the whereabouts of their child? The child for hiding for so long? The siblings for yelling "hey! or brother is in the balloon!"? -

I saw some pictures of the balloon as it was touching down and it doesn't look like there is any hole or opening that was disturbed by a boy falling out. -
I kept hearing great things about so I watched the first three episodes on demand just in time to catch the 4th. I really enjoy the show, and last night's number with Quinn and the cheerleaders was damn hot. The only thing that sucks about this show is that it's on Fox, and Fox always cancels good shows.

Theme park or rollercoaster t-shirts.
chemical_echo replied to crazy B's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
To me it sounds like he's seen hats and shirts with the Vekoma logo and wants one with the Intamin logo. -I have no idea if Intamin even makes or sells merchandise with their logo, so I don't know. It also sounds like he wants to know where he can get shirts and hats with the logos of his favorite rides from Blackpool on them. -Try their gift shop, or e-bay. -
Best And Worst Things Ever

Best: Volunteering at Math and Physics day at CW and riding Behemoth about 8 times in a row (in the front) with another volunteer because all the students left hours before closing time. Equally Best: Going to IoA and Universal in February of 05 and getting all my passes for free from a friend that worked there, plus a bunch of front of the line passes (that we didn't need because both parks were dead and we were able to finish both parks in about half a day) Worst: Working Grad Night at CW in 03. Pouring rain, overnight shift, teens yelling at you because rides are closed, yelling at teens to stop walking in restricted areas, having a shitty dance music station set up their booth right next to my ride and playing their filth the entire night. -
A Rollercoaster In Your Front Room?

Even if I did build this I don't think I'd be able to convince anyone to come over and move the chair around for me. -
Extreme Coaster Weather

A couple years back my friends and I went to HalloWeekends at CP for one of the final weekends. It was freezing, and at 12:30am we got our final ride in the front row seat of MF...in the pouring rain. I had my hands up for the first drop until I realized it hurt like hell and covered my face with my arms for the rest of the ride. -

Jays fired GM J.P. Ricciardi over the weekend and confirmed that Gaston will stay on. Hopefully they can start to turn the team around, although I still suspect that Doc will be leaving us in the off season, if not early in next. -

I just finished The Chronicles of Narnia (in order of story, not print). I absolutely loved these books, but can't decide on a favorite, they were all just really good books. I wasn't expecting the ending at all; it was good, but still kinda sad at the same time. Shame Disney dropped their movie deal for the rest, I would have loved to see how they do Voyage of the Dawn Treader and the rest of the stories.
