^Not anymore. But if you look at the webcam, theres a new large block of cement to the North East of the station that I think is the main block of switches for the queue. I always thought it would go the other way, and have the entrance be where they announced the ride....

Definately have to agree this thing is underestimated. The concept art and POV makes it look trimmed to death and mediocre, but even if all the blocks do their thing, the sections in between look pretty intense. I can only imagine the forces that last twisting section with the low unbanked s-turns will give.

On hindsight, that tasted horrible, and I really wish that its almost illegal to not drink Pepsi products in Huntington. Its like a jail here, really it is And I'm actually serious about that one. Coke is impossible to find, and if you can locate some, the price is jacked up compared to Pepsi. I rue everyday I'm forced to be in this town, and can't wait to get back home for some REAL refreshment in the form of a crisp Coca Cola. Besides, I just did that to taunt you...

More than likely, most of the lines will be on Diamondback, but since it's still early season, expect there to be longer lines in general. As for attractions, heres what I usually hit: -Vortex: Awesome Arrow if you dont mind a bit of headbanging. A backseat ride gives some great floater air of the first drop. -Beast: Another KI classic, not to be missed. -Crypt: Probabbly my favorite flat in the park. Great Topspin. -Drop Tower: Another awesome flat, great air if you do it right. -Son of Beast: The S&M coaster, it can be fun but only if your willing to take a beating to get it. -FoF and Firehawk: Fun, but have had longer lines over the last few years. Don't know if DBack will change that, but I'm hoping it will drag some attention away from that side of the park. -Backlot: Fun family coaster with some airtime depending where you sit. -Other credits -Avatar and Scooby if you have time to screw around in Nick Central.

From one artist to another, sheer awesomeness! I definately say go for the graphic design route, but be prepared for anything. My college had a bunch of prerequisite classes that were extremely annoying and abstract before we were even aloud to take basic art classes. Still, completely epic! Love all of those scenes

I'm loving it so far. It has a decent prelift, and that aproach to the big drop is in a word, epic. Please put up a vid once your done with this. I dont have/cant run NL, and I'd love to ride this thing.

Thanks for the tip. Now all I have to do is make all the arrangements and stuff... By the way, does anyone know if the other Cali parks will be open that weekend? I want to know if it would be worth it to get my SF/CF passes processed early and hit the other parks while I'm at it.

I think my problem is that I'm 21, so I can't rent a car. If I could carpool with someone else, I can probabbly fly down and join in, but otherwise it would be kind of hard for me to travel once I got to Cali.

Best rumor confirmation ever. As I have stated various times by now, Knoebels is one of my favorite parks now. Even though I'll miss HSTC, I'm sure this will be a welcome adition. Either way, gives me an excuse to ride Phoenix again

Wow, this actually takes place during the week of my spring break. If I can find somewhere to crash, I might be able to come..I've been wanting to hit the California parks for a while, and this might be my chance!

Are you sure? To go to the media day at Cedar Point, you had to be invited by the park. Spring Fling will be at Knoebels on April 25th (opening day). They will be having an event at Kings Island on August 22nd. A GOCC membership should get you into most if not all Park Sponsored events too. I know it's accepted for Holiwood Nights and Coaster Mania. I'm basing the notion that they'll accept GOCC off of the December 24th blog, where they listed that in the list of accepted cards. Also yay Diamondback, and generic praise of it's awesomeness.

As awesome as it would be, they have said that the ride will be made of steel. B&M steelish Plug-n-Play?

^Actually media day accepts all card carrying coaster clubs, including the much cheaper GOCC (Great Ohio Coaster Club) Apparently its $20 a year for a few events each year (website doesnt say what for this year, but I bet theres gonna be something for Diamondback), reduced admission for HW, and access to any coaster club function.

Actually, Terrance and I (and likely many others here) run mac's, and we can use RCT3 just fine. Only problem is they haven't released an Apple version of Wild yet.

I was thinking that too, but I checked the webcam everyday and hadn't seen anything, so I thought it was for both.

That was fast. I saw on the last blog that they were supposed to take a holiday break until the 5th, and that was back when the hammerhead was half done!

This makes me sad for not checking scheduals. I had no idea that Beech Bend was open year round. I was avoiding it because I thought KY was one of those states where parks would close in the winter, but I've been afew hours away with no Rumbler credit all month! Oh well, great TR, and I fully endorse and agree that all goats are evil.

Please please PLEASE post a pov once your done with this, Terrance. I run a mac, so I only get the basic RCT3, with no custom downloadability or anything. This looks awesome though, can't wait till it's complete!

The lack of Maverick shots makes me sad, but awesome TR so far. I remember that Rock 'n' Roll Museum from my Cleveland trip about 5 years ago. Great museum, and I got some cool drumsticks there.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! HSTC leaving? I know its an old coaster and probably in bad shape, but that was the funnest kiddy I've ever ridden. Atleast they still have my new best friend Phoenix. If anything ever happened to it, I'd singlehandedly destroy the world. Hopefully they'll keep the POP thing next year. After my trip last summer, I'd really like the chance to go the Knoebels again, since its one of my favorite parks now.

If your hitting HW and IB, you might as well come down to Ohio for atleast Kings Island. KI has about as much wood as steel, and now that we're getting Diamondback it might be worth visiting. Plus if its anything like last year, Crypt alone makes it worth your while, since that thing's insane now.

So. Unbelievably. Sexy I'm really starting to like the color scheme, and that new chopper looks like it'll be an awesome visual!

Crap. I knew Coney had a few under-age employees last year, but I didnt know they had extra hours! We were pretty understaffed in the latter half of last summer, but I thought our managers were giving the big shifts to experienced employees, not the new people who were under 16!
