A few years ago I was at DL about to go on the haunted mansion. These people in front of me were complaining that the ride was not scary(they were kind of @$$e$). Right before the elevator room the people were still talking about the lack of fear, and the person in the front of the elevator room jumped out at them and yelled BOO! The people all screamed and the op said "The 999 ghosts are in the mansion, I am number 1000(in a creepy way with a creepy laugh) it was creepy and also awesome. I hope he did not get in trouble though, it was not really disneyish for the ride op- to scare people.

Awesome TR, I love the track of Mindbender and Shockwave, it makes me think that Intamin and Schwarakopf had an awesome baby. All of these TRs are really good so far.

Awesome photos, Paul. This was the TPR trip I was hoping to go on(I'm a so cal resident, but still need quite a few credits in Nor Cal) but the timing was not correct for a TPR trip. Anyways, looks like you had an awesome time in an awesome (If I do say so myself) state for coasters. The California is better than Ohio Ghost

Awesome. Disneyland is my favorite park(I was on screamin about twelbe hours ago) and it is awesome to see perspectives from people who are not locals. I do agree with everyone about tower to an extent though, as a ride(in terms of effects and everything) Floridas owns Californias and is amazing. In terms of drop and thrill cycle California gets my vote, I did not get ejected in Floridas(rode it this past summer on vacation) like I did in Californias.

Totally agree with you there. Has Cedar Fair really added a favorite to Knotts since Accelerator? The Knotts family had started Ghostrider when CF took over(and it was running well) Accekerator kicks ass and is in my top ten due to the ridicoulas amount of ejecor airtime I got on it in June(1st time in back seat) but it ruins a bit of the ambiance of the classic boardwalk. It did kind of need a coaster, though. Silver Bullet is fun, but never really crowded(the capaciy is good though) but that ride destroyed the park. A B&M in the ghost town area of the park with no theming besides a stage coach with the word silver bullet is an ambiance killer. Sierra Sidewinder- I lied, I like this one quite a bit and it goes well in camp snoopy. There is little to no theming though, and it is a little to bright, but its in camp snoopy. Pony Express- White water wilderness was one of the last areas of knotts with charm, the coaster ruined that. The coaster is also uncomfortable, slow, too short, and not at all thrilling.(even for a kiddie) Cedar Fair also removed tampico tumbler which is a rare(they are rare, right?) flat ride and replaced it with a giant frisbee. I like la revolucion, but it goes in terribly with the area, and the tumbler was my favorite flat ride, probaby ever. Also, the removal of kingdom of the dinosaurs is and will forever be a travesty.

Take out HISTA audience(3rd least favorite ride after stitch and figment) and put in something like TRON to go with the new movie coming out. Make Innoventions more floridaesque. Add something with a Vekoma booster bike(take out people mover) and theme it to pod racers with the new star tours.

My friend and I went to Knotts in ninth grade and he was scared because he had never been on sliver bullet and asked what it was like, my answer was: You go up a hill(knew the hight then) go through a loop an overbanked turn a cobra roll a zero g roll followed by a bit of a twisty hill 2 corkscrews over/near the lake and an upwards helix My friend was even more scared because he never realized the ride did that much.

The only thing I dont like about the new stuff is that I wish you would make some kind of new boomerang concept. It is cool how you made the steep lifts, but anyone can(and has) made boomerangs. You are such a conceptual park maker that you could make something really uniue inspired by a boomerang or something. No huge deal either way, because it still looks good, but if possible that is my suggestion.

Imeem is a new completely legal music site very similar to pandora. The big difference being that you can put up playlists for everyone to listen to. I though it would be fun for people to make playlists and post them here. I have noticed a lot of people listen to pretty much ever kind of music here, so it would be cool to get a lot of different kinds of genres and playlists to listen to. I realize there is already a music thread, but this is a little different, however they can be merged. I dont know if you have to register to listen to playlists(you do to make one) vut it literally just asksd for username, password, and email. Sorry guys, I should have been more specific. I was listening to in the loop two weeks ago, and they mentioned 2011 getting a new unique non family coaster to use the terrain. The rumor is on screamscape(not 100% reliable) so I am thinking something like a eurofighter. They are cheap and unique considering there are few in the US, and seem to have good reliability and seem generally well liked. I know it is way too early to talk about this now, especially as it is nowhere near confirmed. I think the new coaster will be a custom(or at least not tony hawk) spinner.

That might not be a good idea right now. Intamin is pretty expensive and although it would be cool I dont see it happening. If the new unique coaster(mentioned on screamscape, not always reliable) does happen am I the only one who sees a Eurofighter. It would be cool for that to be terrain based, it is unique(no beyond vertical drops in California) and would run Six Flags cheap. Especially considering they will have a gerstlauer(most likely) spinner soon, giving them a pretty good relationship. Just my prediction, but this seems like it would be a good move to me.

Does anyone have the recipe for the peanut butter sauce from ohana. That was the greatest sauce known to man. Ohana is my current favorite returant in the world(and one reason I love florida) and that sauce would totally remind me of Florida. The Ohana= pure awesomegasm Ghost

The rumor so far is that it is going to use the terrain of the mountain, and if that is true I would not be surprised if it was either an Intamin of some kind or something along the lines of a dive machine or eurofighter. If the park is able to accomplish that then they will not only be tied with cedar point, but may also be able to build a better coaster, resulting in essentially winning the CP coaster count feud. This will be an interesting few years at SFMM if the rumor is true.

How much is it to go? I am assuming my deluxe annual pass will not get me in, but if it someow does I would love to go. What exactly is it though, I saw ^(your tr, I think)) of it last year and it looked cool.
