  1. I doubt it as this park seems to be more serious with coasters/rides than that one park with so many copyright infringements.
  2. Why can't America have a place like that? I know we have Disney Quest(well had), but those look a lot better than anything over here. Joyopolis looks great, the large arcade looks really cool, the live test track is amazing, and the athletic park is weird but cool.
  3. Orange Crush - R.E.M.
  4. I'm happy that the park is not building another launched coaster, and with a coaster of this scale going in, it has the chance of being the parks best coaster. While I'm still upset Cedar Fair killed GL, it is nice to see the coasters and rides being sent to parks where people will actually ride them.
  5. Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril
  6. ^While not that cheap, I think Sheikra cost 12-15 million, but I do agree that the article sounds like it was written by a 9th grader. It is nice to see a custom coaster going into this park, and this will make the park even better. For such a young park to have a coaster of this size, and a ride selection this big, it is really amazing. The coaster itself looks amazing, and hopefully the can add an element that is not on any other diving machines like a zero-G roll.
  7. If you're going to borrow money, borrow from a pessimist. They don't expect you to pay it back.
  8. I think I remember reading that the reason there is a story because the woman ejected either works or has connections to the paper.
  9. T2=Terror to the second power Raging Bull
  10. ^Why would you want a Maverick when they have California Screamin? As for the wooden coaster, maybe they will eventually get around to (re)building the Cyclone Racer.
  11. I agree. IMO, between Screamscape for news, RCDB for information, and our site for Photo TR's and discussions, that's pretty much all the coaster sites I need. I second(or third that)...well a little RCPro might sneak in. TPR-overall, forums, interactiveness RCPro-design(the new design is great, and with the site being rebuilt, it will only get better) Coaster Capture-photos, best new site RCDB-information
  12. I'm surprised the topic has gone on this far. Sure the idea is good, but it could never happen. The reenter would be very painful, the train and track would be destroyed, and it would be an insurance nightmare. Even if possible, it would never happen in America because...well it's America. The closest we'll get to the track jump rill be the tilt coaster or the cantilevered coaster.
  13. Well with ACE, if it isn't in Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Indiana, then it doesn't exist, sucks, or isn't worth mentioning. I believe one of their rules is that you can't say something bad about a coaster, and the group seemed to get to big for itself. Also ACE likes to complain...a lot, and because so(and their other actions), they give enthusiasts a bad name.
  14. Zeus is really bad, but Predator, River King, Twister II, and Cyclone(Lakeside, yet this ride is still awesome) are all rough. This whole year seems bad for roughness as rides that I rode last year were considerably rougher when I rode them this year.(Viper, Zeus, and Screamin Eagle just to name some)
  15. Fraggle Rawk - Allister
  16. I think the company that owns Gardaland also owns the Tussaud parks, so I'm sure it will be themed better than the other coasters at the park. Going from the 2005 TPR Europe Trip, Gardaland sounded like a bad park, so hopefully this helps to improve it.
  17. Depends, parks or movies? Have you never been to a Disney Park?
  18. Here is the photo from rcdb: Hopefully things can get sorted out because I believe this park will do well once it opens. I thought this park was done for good a while ago, so hopefully the owners can get the park open, and who knows, maybe if it opens, the owners can build a larger coaster in a few years.
  19. There is one of these going into DippieDoe Familiepark next year, so hopefully it will be like the X-car coasters that get better with the newer rides. The concept is good, but the ride is really short, and like has been said, it appears to be very rough.
