  1. Nice TR and photos. I always look forward to this event as it is always interesting to see what is new. Golden Horse looks like it could be a major name in the industry, and if an invert like the one pictured is built, then they will really make a name for themselves. Dinner in the Sky looks like a cool idea, but it is far to impractical to be used for an event.
  2. ^Exactly, and while no Troy/Kentucky Rumbler, it looks really good. CGA seems to have a pretty pathetic coaster selection, and a ride like this will be great for the park. I don't know how their other coasters are-arrow looper, invert, stand-up and family coaster it seems- but this will easily be better than any of the wooden coasters there.
  3. It wasn't Sydney, Australia, but rather Sidney, Nebraska. It was just a typo... This is just sad, yet funny, and I'm pretty sure no one is truly offended by Santa saying, "ho ho ho." Now if he just said "ho", then that would be different, but this just shows how politically correct society has become.
  4. Wow, the layout is amazing, and it looks to be one of the best GCIs. Although it seems way too spaced out for a GCI IMO, it should be great with all the turns and hills that it has.
  5. It looks really nice, and while not really big, it looks like a lot of fun. Farup already looked like a great park, and with a major coaster (major for a family park) like this, it will be even better.
  6. While the layout looks simple, the main thing the ride has going for it,and which will make the ride more thrilling, are the trains. The trains will turn a relatively simple layout into a thrilling family ride. All of the motorcycle coasters have basic layouts, yet they are all good rides, and I expect the same for Pony Express
  7. First off, good luck Second, your goal might be a little high as 30 pounds in 30 days is a lot of weight in a little time. A better end point might be December 31 as your goal will be more reachable. Well actually, do not have an end point. Just do what you plan to do, and stop when you feel like you've lost enough weight. Just do more of what you did when you looked like this and wanted to get healthy: ...and no, that does not mean quitting ACE
  8. Although I will always call them Busch Parks, a name like this seems good business wise. Busch probably wants to separate the parks from the brewing industry more, and they decided to go with...for lack of a better phrase...a more family friendly name. The only thing I don't like is that the park name seems too generic as there are too many "Worlds of" and "___ Adventure" out there.
  9. That happened to me, but I figured it was becasuse the videos are unable to run on a mac. It is a nice improvement, and it is nice that the site was updated for the first time since Hades was under construction. The photos, videos, and news were nice, and the layout is nice. The concept coaster looks really fun to, and I'm just amazed they got that layout from a 20 foot tall coaster.
  10. ^people who want to see nature go on vacation there. Other than that, it's just something to drive through on the way to California. As for the location, I guess it will work out as desert cities are the fastest growing in the nation. However, a city like Houston or Corpus Christi might be a better choice IMO.
  11. Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park
  12. Anyone else notice the Chance Toboggan? I don't know, and while it is a cool concept, I just don't know if a project of this size will work. Granted, this area of the country lacks a major park, but the project seems a little too ambitious. This could be a really nice park, but I just think it will be hard for it to be a success.
  13. Why is there a 48-inch minimum height requirement? I though that this was supposed to be a family friendly ride, but with a requirement like that, it is more of a "thrill" ride. Oh well, it still sounds like a fun little coaster, and it is nice to see KBF putting in unique rides. Hopefully this continues as the park seems to have a bad reputation, and additions like this seem to be good improvements.
  14. Wow, hopefully the actual theming will be as good as in the concept drawings. A large new dark ride along with a complete overhaul of the park should bring more public knowledge to the place.
  15. Waiting - The Methadones
  16. It is nice to see an emphasis on family rides at this park now, and a unique coaster like this should be very appealing to families.(expect long lines) Hopefully there is some theming(even if as little as Viper at SFGAM) as it would improve the ride especially if scattered throughout the ride. I just hope it is low to the ground and not elevated like the prototype.
  17. Knoebels Amusement Park & Resort
  18. It is still early but: SFGAM Europa Park Tivoli Gardens Thorpe Park A few other small European parks SFGADV Mt. Olympus Riverview Timber Falls SFSTL possibly some other Midwest parks should be a good year
