^Sounds very logical to me! Build a tunnel next to a water mass in an area that has potential strong rains or flooding. Yes having a pump in the tunnels would make a lot of sense! Now building a park in a potential flooding area isn't so logical!

Because the crude model shows the basic layout of the coaster and since most of us here are all coaster riders we know just by looking at a model or a coaster how it may feel like. I can honestly say it doesn't look anything spectacular to me. Sure it looks fun but as far as B&M coasters go it looks standard to me.
