Great report! I'm loving all of the anecdotes and pictures from the 'just hanging out' in Japan days. Can't wait for the next update!

To me they are a waste of my time. I'd rather ride any other thrilling coaster at the park I'm visiting. Consider traveling to try a different theme park with different coasters if you can. I won't ever need to ride one again after I tried one with the vests, and it was still not good.

Someone said that it's going to be projected onto FoF's building, so total darkness would be ideal.

Looks like the perfect coaster-slide for younger kids and families that might be a little too apprehensive about Wildebeest or Mammoth.

It's been a year since I've watered the plants at Knoebels. How are they looking? Has anyone else won a gardening water can from Fascination this year? Sadly, I have not given up my city job to pursue a career in botany or landscaping at theme parks ...yet.

Finally? Maverick Storm Runner Xcelerator Cheetah Hunt Dragster Kingda Ka Volcano (RIP) Wave Breaker Technically any of the impulse clones. That said, yes this looks awesome and may finally get me back to that park; my last visit was the year they removed BBW. You forgot Top Thrill Dragster... ya know, the first launched Intamin A) Who cares? B) No he didn't. I think it's a sh*tpost because TTD was not the first, it was Xcelerator. Or maybe it was just an attempt at a weird coaster nerd flex.

Mega hype achieved. It looks incredible and I'm so excited BGW is getting this coaster. Can't wait to visit again next year! Does anyone else love that we're still hearing the Roller Coaster Tycoon stock-screams in theme park/roller coaster promotion videos in 2019?

Am I the TPR antagonist this week? Lmao. I never had a good experience on Pilgrims Plunge. The lift wasn't as intimidating as I had hoped for, the drop with all of that water flying in your face was painful, and they could never get the water level right so it was a giant drop into brakes. I'm only 5'8" and my knees would mash into the plastic part of the boat upon the harsh stop every time. It was wasn't a fun experience at all. I haven't been on a new one since, and I could see it being a crowd pleaser if they got the water level right and it did more than just go up and drop.

I've only been to HP once, a year ago, and rode Wildcat in the front seat. The front seat. And it was one of the roughest roller coasters I've experienced with hardly any redeeming qualities. I understand it's the first GCI and the GCI HQ isn't too far away but Wildcat needs far more than retracking in my opinion. It's got a lot of potential on that little hillside! Great, you've got an air conditioned, themed mouse in a box right across the path

We don't have any kids, but actually we're going to start trying for our one-and-done child next month. There's no better time to start than while we're in Hawaii! We talk about how fun it will be to take our kid to parks and watch the transition from kiddie rides to riding a first big coaster. We're ready to move on to the next chapter. It will also feel a little less awkward in parks when we have a child with us... Can you hurry up so I can send you these balloons?

Jeff Siebert knows how to run a park. What a great showcase of SFFT. Great report and endurance getting in all of those rides + $$$ for a good cause!

Another great report! It's a shame HW's great wooden coasters can go downhill so quickly, but we all know they take care of them as much as they can. Initially I thought RMC'ing Voyage was blasphemous, but honestly look at what HW has done to try and improve the experience - Timberliners tried and failed, added trims, constant maintenance. RMC'ing would be a one time fix, right? Other than normal upkeep. Voyage is so good when it's tolerable, and I've been lucky to only have great rides on it, but I know that's not the case for many others.

SFFT really sets the standard for the American Six Flags parks. The coasters, flume, S&S tower, and atmosphere are all pretty great. Awesome report!

It's because everyone already knows. Everyone. The local news has featured multiple stories on the 'giga' coaster. Even my grandmother and her neighbors know what a giga coaster is, where the steel is coming from, and the fact that it's coming next year. Or, it's quiet before the storm.. I haven't heard a peep about the project since the layout was submitted and shared on the forums.

Every aspect looks great and practical! Overall beautiful, nice fun little Disney touches, the food and bar looks top notch. Looks like the place I'd want to stay if I'd visit Orlando in 2020

Great report! Your description of Lightning Run is spot on. I visited at the same time last year and that stagnant, humid, heat is so gross but at least it makes the coasters run on another level, haha. Can you believe people were complaining about Storm Chaser being sluggish at one point? That last jerk to the left into the brake run is taken at such speeds I felt like I was experiencing a Roller Coaster Tycoon coaster that 1998 me made that has an unbanked turn after the first drop.
