  1. Oh yeah coming out of the MCBR from a complete stop with an empty train is nerve-racking to see. It crawls through the final helix and you'd think the water splash would bring it to a stop but it surprisingly makes it back to the final brake run.
  2. Storm Chaser is definitely best designed as a bull that drank four loko. Well done you've won TPR today.
  3. They don't need all of those L O V E signs to get hella likes on the Gram but I'm sure that'll help add to the already huge amount of photos people are taking! Looks like they went above and beyond to re-imagine the area. The coaster looks fantastic. Thanks for the coverage!
  4. I think I'm the only TPR member who hasn't been to Great Adventure. Thank you for the reminder to get my ass out to Jersey.
  5. I have gone straight from the airport to the park with 2 full size luggage bags and paid probably $20 for one big one. You're fine! I think they had 3 sizes which was great.
  6. Great report! Voyage night rides.. so elusive. I haven't been to HW since 2014 but I still think highly of the Voyage after all my travels since then. Glad you had a great time!
  7. I honestly think you're pretty close to Justin Roiland (Lemongrab, Morty) UNACCEPTABLEeeeeeeee [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  8. I think it's a temporary #budget bathroom and they'll expand into Batwing's space when it's removed in the off season. They could definitely fit a real bathroom with at least 48 Xcelerator hand dryers in them. The GP loves Xcelerator. It's been almost 10 months since my visit to CP where I really think I found my calling as an expert TPRBR (theme park review bathroom reviewer) and I totally know a #budget bathroom when I see one. All of the signs point to it.
  9. Hahaha. Imagine the horror of the other guests when you brought a camera into the bathroom stall and started filming. "I'm uh, just here for the roller coasters. Really I swear"
  10. I'm sure if they get enough recommendations in their guest surveys they'll build a 2nd lap in the off season. By build in the off season I specifically am talking about April, May, June 2020.
  11. Ah sweet sweet justice. I can't figure out if that's part of the first drop based on the aerial shots. I love the mystery of this project. It looks incredible!
  12. Everything about Tiaga looks spectacular. What a great job by Intamin and Linnanmäki!
  13. Que following jokes about Banshee's wheels being the sign that budgets were being cut leading to the giga that won't live up to anyone's expectations
  14. After I was wowed by the Potter parts of the park in October I sought out the books to pick up where I left off when I was younger and I've had a great time taking a dive into the HP world. Only 1.5 books left to read! I can't wait to visit Universal again I'm really excited with all of the details they are putting into the attractions and Hogsmeade/Diagon Alley for those who have seen the movies and read the books.
  15. I've always admired the color schemes on the coasters at Dorney. Talon and Hydra have been on my want to ride list for all the reasons you mentioned that make it slightly different than the other inverts. Great update and congrats on surviving Frontier!
  16. You are so efficient at posting these reports, seriously great job! I haven't been to the Indy Zoo since a kid so that monorail/skyride hybrid is news to me. Soooo interesting! I'll have to stop on my way from Chicago to Cincy sometime. It's so odd how un-B&M Banshee can feel. It must go through wheels so quickly or something because it hasn't changed since it opened. Speaking of consistency, Diamondback's trims and MCBR have been the same since opening as well. It doesn't happen often but an early morning ride with a half empty train can result in the trim not activating but yeah if the MCBR didn't squeeze it would be a more memorable B&M hyper.
  17. Afterburn Carowinds is a GREAT park for that one day trip. It's so convenient to the airport and typically the crowds are small enough so you can ride whatever you want as many time as you want. Glad you were able to crush a bunch of rides even with the rain delay.
  18. i305 is one of the few coasters I see and it hurts me not to be there riding it right now. I love that ride so much. Glad to hear TT was running at captain insano levels. TT and Skyrush have such extreme airtime I think there's a little bit of tolerance needed to truly appreciate them. The more I rode, the more I loved! Great report!!
  19. Cool, it's opened! Now we can focus on the upcoming Jurassic Park coaster Which...should be a more fitting 'replacement' for the thrill/intense coaster void, right? I'm curious on everyone's thoughts to this: Would you have rather seen Universal put in a Dueling Dragons-thrill level Harry Potter coaster instead of Hagrid's and then add a family thrill for the Jurassic Park coaster? Or how it's currently looking to progress with the family coaster (Hagrid) and the thrill coaster for Jurassic Park?
  20. I'm so impressed you were able to fix the passport issue so quickly. That's incredible! Glad you had a great time and looking forward to more!
  21. I mean if we want to be picky, I can think of this one 300ft coaster with a similar investment level that's around the same length that lives at a twilight zone Kings Island park
  22. The most popular phrase over there is "our giga" That sums it up. Looks like a lot of information was discovered at the court house so I'm excited to let it marinate with those who are good with dissecting all that. Looks similar to Fury and Kings Island always does a great job with adding a theme or story so I'm excited to see the teasers to start popping up!
  23. Time hop reminded me that my last visit to Holiday World was 5 years ago today! I still think highly of Voyage but it's been 5 years since my last visit and I know the wishy washy reputation, it's still a top wooden coaster on the poll. HW does the best they can to take care of the coaster (remember Timberliners?) but I wonder when they might take different actions to preserve the Voyage
  24. So....THAT'S what is going on in 2020!!!
