Coolest Ride Vehicles
PCW_Nut replied to Cerberus's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
For me it would be either the Indiana Jones at DL or Dinosaur vehicles over at Animal Kingdom...both of those vehicles do so much for sucking you into the world and environment...love it. -
^ and that folks is what we call a "teaser". Cannot wait...Your Wisconsin trip looks amazing. I can't believe how much it looks like Cleveland

Great TR. La Ronde is definitly an interesting park...however, you list Goliath as Hyper, but its actually not. it's only 174ft so i guess its a mini-hyper? I dont know...either way it looks like a great ride, haven't had a chance to get out there since it opened, but am next year. Cannot wait for the photos.

I will be uploading pics from Saturday tonight, but keep in mind it was raining and I really couldn't get much. However, I will be going back on Friday I belive provided there's no rain again, to get more pics. Overall as a quick review, the haunt was indeed great this year...will post more in depth tonight. -

Don't get me wrong, I agree, the trade off is great...just always hate to see rides go. However, change is going to be for the best this time around. 2011 should be a great season. -

This was from their Official Twitter (@WonderlandNews) on Oct 8th: "Only two days left to ride Jet Scream! Jet Scream will be retired on 10/10/10. Don't miss out!" So it is indeed confirmed =( -

^ It's kind of bittersweet for me as, even though the ride is not that forgiving on guys, I still enjoyed it. Honestly, i started hearing all the rumors of it leaving and once it was confirmed, kind of sad. Honestly shocked to see that go before Skyrider! So, that brings up a good topic we can talk about. If a survey went around asking what ride/attraction/area would you like removed what would you say? As noted above, my vote would be all for Skyrider. I could see a ZacSpin in there or perhaps a Mega-Lite or Maverick style ride. There's enough room to start there and perhaps go over to where White Water Canyon is a bit. -
^ That would be a trip I am interested in for sure after visiting the West Coast this past summer, I would love to do it TPR Style! Back on topic though, I am very impressed with this announcement. All the changes and additions look to be quite interesting and having 3 new experiences will have draw crowds away a bit from other attractions such as X2. I do have to wonder if CP does indeed have anything up their sleeve for 2012 or if they will just strive for quality vs quantity?

^ thanks... I can't wait for Saturday to get into the park and get some good shots... -
Hey everyone, so this is a little different, but I am posting a mini Pre Photo TR of what will be a full blown Photo TR next week once I go to Haunt. Reason I am doing this is because I picked up a new camera, a Nikon S8100, so I wanted to test it out. Still learning the features but loving it so far as it is. All the shots are taking from the parking lot around the fence line. Didn't go into the park tonight but will next week when, as mention, will provide a more hands on TR. Enjoy... I love parks at night The entrance to The Asylum Xtreme Skyflyer with an amazing moon behind it Perhaps my favorite shot of the night. Flight Deck with the great Halloween lighting behind it. Who's seen a standard SLC ever look this good? Zoom. Behemoth lurking in the background Flight Decks station The fog rolling out into the parking lot Love the layout on this still The train blurring up the hill. Love the lighting package.

Just speaking that renderings can change...at Canada's Wonderland for example the animation for the new Windseeker shows the ride Jet Scream still there, when in fact it's already been closed an announce officially to be removed for the 2011 season. So, always take renderings as a rough idea. Back on to the announcement though, I just made it to SFMM for the first time this past summer and now I gotta say, I wanna go back next summer. I am intruiged with the ZacSpin...not "thrilled" but something I would like to experience.

Awesome TR. I gotta admit, I still find the idea of normal size Chuckies funny rather then scary...I just don't get the logic in it. If you're gonna do Chucky, go all out, get animitronics and spread them out...have the scares come from human victims rather then over sized Cabbage Patch dolls. Did you get an video by any chance? I know the mazes are dark and what not, but I would love to see a walk through of House of 1000 Corpses. -
Disneyland Paris (DLP) Discussion Thread

That sounds like a bad idea with Europa Park so close. The bar is set so high for Europe-themed parks in that area. I know...I kind of was being a little sarcastic...still not "sarcastic" font =( -

They can always do a "Disney Euro Adventure" They can built an Eifel Tower with a Mickey cap on top as their main park icon Either way, it's great to see Disneyland Paris exanding...makes it even more appealing to venture out to the land of the French.
