Not sure if you knew that one Deep Fried Butter ball is actually healthier then a Sour Cream Glazed Timbit from Tim Horton's. For the US readers a Timbit = a Donut Hole. "But you might be surprised that a butter ball coated in funnel cake batter and plunged into a burbling vat of hot grease has the same amount of fat and about 12 fewer calories than a sour cream glazed timbit." Here's a quick photo TR from the Canadian National Exhibition on Saturday Sept 4th here in Toronto. Sorry for the quality, the pics were all with my iPhone.....3g Its as if Disney and Skynet had a baby. Stunning. I love Rock N Roll...specially when it's all sandy and stuff. MMMmmm, looked so good but never tried. Surprisingly better tasting then it looked. The entire menu Random butter figures. What you'd look like after eating the figure. Seriously, this, well, umm, thing, is going to give me nightmares forever! I'm strong to the finish cause I eats me, umm, butter? That doesn't sound right, nor healthy. What you looking at? Think this is a big pig? THAT is a big pig! Wonder if he's dreaming of deep fried butter like I was by this point Mooving on It's sad when the baby goat is the smartest thing in this picture. Ya, there were rides too. Walking while taking a pic with the iPhone makes me feel like I am drunk! Ahhh good old Zipper! Poor Man's Windseeker! Let the clogging begin! It looked exactly like the picture, hence the reason I didn't order it. What we came to the CNE for this year! Sad thing, I am not kidding, it was our main reason to come. For the record, it was worth the trip! Seriously not what I was expecting and that is a good thing. Don't knock it till you try it! And a Deep Fried Mars bar for good measure. Gotta make sure every artery is clogged right? The new ride for the year. Shoud've been a DISK-O Love the midway at night! We devoured this Double Corn Dog just before going to get Jamaican Fried Chicken for dinner! Final shot of the day. Overall it was a great day. Thanks for viewing.

1 minute and 20 seconds may not seem long, but when your spinning 300ft in the air- yeah it may get a little tiring. 3 minutes is just a rough estimate of how long you'll actually be in your seat, not just the actual ride. I did see what you wrote...i never said you'd be spinning for 3minutes...I said right from the get go you'd be spinning for 1min20 sec approx and that the ride time was 3min...ride time = total time from start to finish... -

These were the stats from the Wonderland announcement page...so a 3min ride cycle, 50seconds for Ascent/Descent leaves only 1min20sec left to rotate...Unless its 50seconds total to raise and lower in which case we're looking at 2min10 seconds to rotate...which may be a fair bit dizzying... Regardless though, all 4 of these rides are going to offer up amazing views.. -

So judging by all the stats, all of these rides with be 50 seconds to get to the top, 1min20sec rotation time, and another 50 seconds to descend. -

Cedar Point has announced that it will introduce WindSeeker, a 30-story-tall swing ride to the Sandusky, Ohio, amusement park/resort for next summer. -

So Wonderland/Cedar Point/Kings Island & Knotts Berry Farm are all getting the identical ride in 2011..looks like there is no favoritism this year like discussed. Still want to know what all this Stratasoar business was about though...perhaps to throw us off the trail or maybe something else for the future? Who know's...only time will tell. -

Not saying that...who knows what the whole Stratasoar stuff was about...but I am sure with a 4 park/5million dollar investment each that 2012 might be the year for a new coaster at the Point or somewhere else...but let's all just enjoy this for now as we've got plenty of time till 2012 -

Perhaps...How long till the 2012 season? I think all these Windseekers are great additions...sure it's not what all of us coaster enthusiasts might have wanted, but for the GP I am sure they will eat it up. -

Ya, I am kind of curious what all this Stratasoar stuff was all about...perhaps to throw everyone off? Didn't work well if you ask me. -

I think Cedar Fair might have had a buy 3 at 301ft and get one 400ft for free deal Wonderland has announced theirs...yes, i know there's another thread about it so I will not go any further but provide the link to Wonderland's ride page. http://canadaswonderland.com/attractions/detail.cfm?ai_id=691 -

I am excited for this ride. It's got great capacity from the looks of it, will have amazing views of the park and area, and is something that's thrilling enough for the height junkies but still something I could kind of consider a family ride. I am not going to knock the height of 301 too much, but I think we will see later when the Point does their announcement whether or not they truly put the Point above their highest attended park. -

^I disagree. A standard sub 200ft Starflyer may not be news worthy per say, but the rumoured 300-400ft Starflyer? I think that would be a little news worthy. Either way, I will be happy with whatever they announce I am sure...provided they don't say they are moving Son of Beast to Wonderland -

Who's to say that wasn't just the original planned height and not someting to keep it lower then MF? We can all speculate, but none of us truly know what's going on in the minds of the planning groups behind all these rides right? Sure, they could've gone the extra 10Ft and beaten MF, but would the 10ft had made an actual difference to the ride? Does anyone really care about the height though aside from us enthusiasts? LIke how many guests of the general public go on i305 or MF and mention that one is higher or shorter then the other? Either way, I would never rule anything out, but I know in the past Dick Kinzel had seemed hesitant about doing another huge TTD/KK style ride. Trust me, I would love to see some world record broken at Wonderland being it's my home park, but I guess we shall see. If the 3 park Stratasoar rumors are true, and the heights are all different, maybe Wonderland may end up with the tallest of the 3 which would set a record. We already know that KBF's Facebook page mentioned something about flying higher then Supreme Scream, which is listed as 254 Ft. -

I know Cedar Point is their flagship park, but why does everyone think that none of the other Cedar Fair parks could get something that surpasses the Point? Keep in mind that in 2009 Wonderland had a higher attendance rate ( 3.38m vs 3.19m). Why would a park not consider putting a major, record breaking attraction in their highest attended park? I would still lean more towards hoax as well on this one again based off the stats and the reliability of the TTD/Kingda Ka style strata coasters. I don't think Cedar Fair would believe that "third times a charm", but that's just my view. We still are enjoying Behemoth as well so that could be another reason we don't see a coaster taller then that anytime soon. If we got an Intamin I would much rather see a Maverick style ride or a something like iSpeed in Mirabilandia. We've got the height style coaster, now lets go for something a little more, umm, TWISTY!!!!
