Here is the pile of dirt where it appears the new waterside will be going.

There was a big pile of dirt in Splashworks close to where the speed slides used to be. I'll try to get a picture up shortly.

No one is seeing what's inside the mountain, so though it may look like nothing outside who knows what we aren't seeing. Either way, drop or no drop, coaster or not, I love that Cedar Fair is taking a risk and doing what looks to be a truly unique dark right.

I will try to get a shot of it this week. Credit or not, I am really excited for this mash up of rides.

Definitely exciting indeed. Going out on a limb and say something involving an actual tunnel of flames or something where fire gets involved in a much greater scale than any ride ever has. Either way, seems like in 3 weeks we will have more details. Crazy to see 2016 rides promoted so early.

This sounds more like an indoor waterpark to me but exciting regardless. I'd love a HHN attraction/maze/scare zone themed to Potter inside Diagon Alley but I truly am not sure if I'd see it happen. Overall this announcement really didn't tell us too much more except for shops coming but truthfully, did it have to? This truly is a "Build it and they will come" type of place. I cannot wait to get back down there in Sept for HHN and to experience the new Potter area. Hopefully Escape from Gringotts is a little more accommodating to those that don't know too much about the Harry Potter lore.

Agreed, however I am very happy with the new offerings that are coming. The hot dog place definitely sounds the most intriguing to me personally. Should be great changes ahead of City Walk. The Potter stuff that was announced is also very good, though I guess as theme park nerds none of this felt really new or had a "wow" factor...yet. Once more details leak or are revealed about the Train and ride then we'll probably get the "holy crap you've done it again" look in our eyes.

Wow! Honestly, I am kind of taken aback at how amazing this looks. Sure, the ride is simple enough but with the thematic elements added in and some neat tricks it really sets it apart from other water rides like this. I'd love to have something like this nearby,

Each of your updates makes me want to get out to Vegas even more. Between this and Slotzilla and the new Giant Wheel, there's a lot of things in Vegas I will need to do. Still sad about the Goretorium though.

I've yet to eat here but damn those Margaritas look amazing!

Orlando again in Sept for Halloween events (BGT/USF/etc) Epcot for Food and Wine I want to hit up a few PA parks I've yet to visit like Dorney NJ to get back on my favorite coaster El Toro as it's been far too long May be able to sneak out to Chicago area to get on Goliath Possibly Vegas as well if all goes as planned.

So it's realistic too? All kidding aside, that was a real awesome model of it. Thanks for all the great coverage guys.
