  1. Rock is quite obsessed with this ride...quite obsessed.
  2. Maybe the design was changed. Holiday World has been doin that with Voyage ever since the dang thing was started. the little bunny hop coming into the 90 degree corner was NOT there in the first renderings and Chad from TGG confirmed it was an added thing. Upon more reading from the Holiblog, they have been altering the design some MORE on top of that. I wouldnt be suprised if a cork was taken out since that 3d rending clearly shows a bunny hop before the last cork. The shaping is far too pointed for that of a cork.
  3. However, I think Thundercoaster is actually larger. Maybe this cost more and there is more involved, but Thundercoaster looks overall bigger and more expansive. Still...looks like it will have 2 fantastic rides. Kind of like how Holiday World....was.... hehehe.
  4. So true...so true... You want surge? Coca Cola is testing out a new pop on the market in select areas called "Vault". Reports from Surge fanatics is that it tastes very similar, if not exactly the same. You can really only get it now on eBay. Search for "Coca Cola Vault" and youll find it. I think Im going to purchase some just to see. Plus, if it fails, youve got a little collectors item. (But if its as good as surge, I couldnt not drink every last drop)
  5. Lets make one thing clear. This is NOT america ! So? Quite a few parks in Europe pull in some heavy attendance. Its not just America who has G-Force quota's to fill and adrenaline to surge.
  6. ^Dont post then if you arent going to download. About Track- Looks like someone was in using the power tweaker. I think accelerating from 0-220 at 4G's Acceleration would probably knock the wind out of everyone onboard. SUF pulls the same kinds of G's and I believe they come near 4 but only for a moment and it makes it so most people cant breathe. Then, you hit that corner and pull from 7-5.5 g's for over 3-4 seconds. That would definatly be blacking half the train out easily. Also, why is there a trim on the top of the top hat even though it crawls over the top? Other than those issues its not bad. I think something should have been done though about the long stretches with nothing going on like heading back to the station.
  7. I agree with Tom. I agree with Kevin except, isnt that what Britney is too?! I agree with Paris as well.
  8. Aint THAT the truth.
  9. IE Storm Runner I find more intense in the front. The drop IS great in the back, but the rest of it is a beast in the front. Same for alot of the other rides. But I agree, tends to depend on the ride and where the forces are applied most...early or late?
  10. I did say it, but thanks for seconding it. Someone had to do it. Yea, Ill trade him salaries if he wishes. Im on salary but its not 9 digits. He must either have one monster sized family or they must all be the size of sumo wrestlers.
  11. ^Amen to that! My first pick...TO. Seriously, I know hes really good and all...but hes the worlds largest trash talker and quite possibly the worlds biggest baby. He whines about everything and if he wants huge money numbers, he should be putting up numbers of biblical proportions. Oh wait...isnt this a team sport we are talking about? My bad...
  12. Elissa, you are falling behind! You should write a script to read the site and have people put it in a specific tag. Then the script sees it, copies it, opens the appropriate pages and enters it all automatically heh.
  13. Falling Up - Dawn Escapes (Brand new album) Every song on it!
  14. blah blah blah all I hear is someone touting their regions lack of sue happy people and its annoying!! Ill just have to go visit...screw the people of the US who cant seem to do anything without injuring themselves then blaming the person next to them.
  15. Not tall enough at 5'11" 3/4th inches.
  16. I cant black out or grey out to my knowledge. Ive tried everything from riding multiple times in a row to holding my breath before and through high G helicies to just about everything. Guess I cant complain...must mean my heart is pretty strong.
  17. HAve you even been on the large Frisbees?! These a TON of positive G's...more than Ive felt on most coasters Ive been on. The rotation is the same but man, theres great positive G's and some great, great airtime on MaXair. Its my favourite flat ride by far.
  18. I was stating that you cant beat it without both mental and chemical (drugs) working. You can take all the drugs you want and maybe you could beat the chemical imbalance but you could just as easily then just slip into a situational which in turn could throw you back into chemical. Just the same as not using drugs will only take you so far. I was just meaning to say that you have to go at it with a positive attitude because drugs alone wont work. Just like a positive attitude wont completely work for all people but I do believe it has a huge influence. Ive know people with so-called chemical diseases and half of them Ive known beat it without drugs. However, I think its the wisest choice to make sure you keep yourself as positive as possible and keep yourself determined to beat it. Drugs only go so far. Once they do their thing, its up to you.
  19. ^yea RIGHT!
  20. In terms of track smoothness in reference to the mathematical calculations I would say they are equal. Both are nearly as perfect as they can be made. What makes a ride smooth or rough is the trains and wheel assemblies. That award IMO goes to B&M excluding some horrible trains ala Mantis/Standup trains which are horrid. They rattle more than SROS @ SFA They just have better and longer lasting suspensions and shocks with an overall better design for comfort. Intamins though tend to be a bit more roomy and more freedom. But hey, thats the tradeoff when you go from 2 wide seating to 4.
  21. I think the key here that many are stating is that even though its a disorder, there is an element of control and self will. If you really want to break it you CAN. Its definatly not easy at all but if you dont do anything and dont fight back you wont ever get any closer to breaking it. I suffered a severe depression in my life that drove me to suicidal thoughts when I was age 14-15 but apart from God knocking me back to my senses, it also took me to actually tell myself to stop being depressed. I had to analyze why I was depressed and take the steps (action) to fix it. Yes it may be a brain disorder but like alot of disorders out there, I think the first and most crucial part to breaking or treating a disorder is your attitude and your will to conquer it. Meds and treatment only go so far. The mind is extremely powerful and your mind can completely rule you in ways you never knew if you dont control it first. You possess the power to conquer it, it just takes faith and the will.
  22. ^Are the medals taken from weeweeslap/coastercrazy.com ? Those look awefully familiar and I can almost make out the NL coaster on the front
  23. Ive never understood that whole thing...Particularly too because I think in this day and age men feel just as much push to be at the correct weight as women do. Theres a very high price on those who look and fit the parts. That and as long as you look good, thats all that matters. Ive never known, nor heard a single guy who thought someone looked good then found out weight and thought not. Its just proposterous I tell you! Im 6' 195. Need to be around 185 but with more muscle. I think im fat but girlfriend doesnt. Whatever.
