I used to go to the Toledo Air Show here in Ohio. Ive seen the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds (like the TB's better) as well as other great planes. got to stand up behind the engine/exhaust of F-117 Nighthawk. I also got to watch a Harrier land and take off vertically which could have been the loudest thing I have ever heard. Period.

Hes using miles as an effective way to prove that coasters hurt people. How many coasters are actually a mile long? Then compare that with how many times you drive, bus or take a train. Strategic politician work there. Idiot.

I also believe that almost all rockets have the same degree of launch angle. It would only make sense to do this so they can easily determine the amount of power needed per launch and the way the system works. You just cant notice it on KK since theres no access to that part of the track Stupid designers...whoever thought to quarantine the people from that part of the ride were morons. I think Intamins wood is a class of its own. It fits into no category so its really its own brand of coaster. Be interesting to see what they do here in the states.

Which will make it better than KK in every way possible. It wont break down as much. It wont vibrate like its riding on stones. The paint scheme completely rocks. Thats such a great idea and looks awesome. I expect this to be better than KK and maybe the best of the "short" rockets (excluding SR and Speedmonster)

Raven turned 10 this year. Its old enough and classic enough to be that parks icon though with the Voyage, it will almost seem to get trumped - especially if the airtime on The Voyage is what they say it will be.

Spent 6 years of my life in that game....well, from Beta 6.5 up to Source. WAY too many hackers for me to even begin to enjoy it.

Bottled water is nasty. I havent found one yet that doesnt leave a film in my mouth. Our tap water is 100 times better than any bottled water. Quite frankly Id rather drink the water from this little mountain spring I found near my grandparents house in the Smokies. It was the clearest water I have ever seen and since it seriously came from within the mountain, Im quite sure that the natural purification process had taken effect. Some of the most refreshing water Ive ever tasted. But since I cant have that, Ill drink tap water. Sure beats paying for nasty so called "spring" water. Ive had spring water, nothing bottled tastes like it.

Halo 2. I think I played something like 16-24 hours worth of it from Friday to Sunday. I had like 2 parties - one at my house with Live and another at a friends with 2 XBox's and 1 68inch TV split in 2. So it was some good times.

Yes, taken from the docks. We were able to spend I think 4 nights collectivly there over 2 trips. There are some really cool angles from over there that most dont see. Coasters + night = sexy pictures.

Perdy "Live" shot as of 7:30 of the Earth and the cloud movement. It updates every 3 hours with correct shading of the earth and it downloads an updated cloud map of the earth and applies it. Kind of neat eh?

Ive gotten some pretty nice ejector air on TTD back seat depending on launch speed and wind conditions. Ive also heard the same for Xcel - just more frequently. It shouldnt matter if its one hill or 4. I think this is just a safety move on Intamins part and it sucks. I thought they did hamper my experience on KK (apart from the trains vibrating worse than any steel coaster Ive been on) so hopefully that doesnt happen here. However, on Storm Runner, they are NEEDED for the very extreme airtime and forces - not just for the inversions.

^You can do that with alot of electronics depending upon the liquid being spilled. If its off and no power is being supplied to it, let it completely dry then use it and it should be ok unless theres some odd residue left over or something. Ive had to do that with a few small portable games for road trips but that is it. I broke a keyboard holder whilst playing Counter-Strike in 2001 in my "hay-day". I got pissed that I died while carrying a ridiculous 6-1 kill-death ratio and slammed both my fists into the tray. Didnt break, didnt even make any noise. Then I hit it again, didnt break. The next time I died I hit it with one fist, off center and about 75% the power of the first 2 and it snapped right in half. I then preceded to play with the board on my lap and completely obliterated the other teams - a bit ironic. However that was years ago, Ive toned way, way down. Though I still get a little agitated while playing TimeSplitters or Halo2 when someone kills using an exact same scenario that didnt work for me. (like hitting someone point-blank with shotgun 4 times to no avail - they take one shot and I die) Other than that, far more mild mannered. I understand the importance of working electronics.

PhishyBrewer - Didnt know you were an Ohioan, then the joke is funny. Yea, I didnt see that suit then. I dont keep up much with anything law related nor did I keep up with Apple stuff till the Mini and now the Nano. Frankly, since I plan on having the in-car player/charger, Ill never have a problem with battery life. I doubt I will ever play it for more than 6 hours straight without it being hooked up the car and charging at the same time so it should never get drained.

Well powering a 30gb HD and everything else on it does need some power. And what about us Ohioans? Just need to make sure it wont break Im most likly going to pick up one of these plus a Monster Cable Car Attachment deal so I can play it in my car. Im not a fan of the larger ones plus they feel more fragile. This thing suits me far better than any mp3 to date.
