Medusa is far better than Scream! (look at the drop and the Sea Serpent). I do love Scream!, it was a fantastic ride, with decent airtime and offers a great ride. There is no such thing as a "rough" B&M, merely a less smooth B&M

Do you think that El Toro will slowly beat the crap out of itself, like everyone is predicting Voyage will do? By looks alone, I would still put Voyage ahead of El Toro. I suppose I will wait until I ride both coasters to form a real opinion.

Happily N'ever After: 5/10 I thought this movie looked really good... I was wrong. Plot was meh, was not very funny, actors were pretty good though. Good for a laugh...at the movies expense.

I was not implying that Millennium Force had no airtime, I was saying that just because something looks like Millennium Force's drop does not mean that it will have the same airtime that Millennium Force's drop gives... No need to freak out about a simple mis-understanding

I could arrange a line of pillows that looks like millennium force's drop on my staircase, and not necessarily get any airtime... Looks are deceiving

My first "big ride" was Kong at Discovery Kingdom, and I have loved it ever since (all hail the SLC's!). Back then I loved to ride the coasters and draw them and all that good stuff. I first got in to coasters as far as I am now when I first joined roller coaster pro. Since then I've never been the same (much to my family's dismay)

^ Do not hate on the almighty SLC My home park is Disneyland/Knotts's/SFMM... Although it used to be SFDK, which I would put as one of my favorite parks. So I would have to say no, I love Knott's and Disneyland but they get repetitive after a while and SFMM is well... SFMM.

I heard this somewhere, but I can not recall where at the moment. While their taxes (was it property taxes?) may rise, so will their property value. So if they survive this their land will be worth that much more should they decided to sell.

^ Erm ARE you a citizen? I can understand if you will be directly affected by this, but for God's sakes does it really matter if a park 2,000 miles away from you shuts down? On a side note I believe we have seen enough "Call the politicians save Joyland!" posts in this thread as well...

I'd say kill it... No need to try to delay the inevitable. If it does not die now it will die in the near future. I don't mean to come off as cynical and I do not "hate" Joyland, but honestly all parks die for a reason. Maybe they'll pull a Bells and move somewhere else, then again maybe it wont. I can tell you this guys, calling all those numbers will do NOTHING. The last thing those people need are a bunch of coaster enthusiasts talking their ears off about something they don't care about... In short, let the park die with some grace, without making a big scene
