I worked at PKD in the games department back in '96. Awful job, but not as bad as working at KayBee during the ensuing x-mas break.

Disney has a higher profile so yes, that would contribute to the type of clientele involved (as well as the lawsuits it invites).

I'm definitely glad I made that trip to Florida. Although nothing replaced my top two faves (Apollo's and Goliath--SFoG) I think most of the ones ParkTrips pointed out are now in my top 10. I love me some Kumba!

Looks like a nice little ride. It actually has me a little more excited for what Mystery Mine might turn out like.

I'm wondering if Shockwave's spot would do better for a rocket.

I've only been on 9 woodies so I did not vote this year. My highest ranked roller coaster on this poll (and my favorite wooden, as it happens) was #45 (Wild One). I did vote in the steel poll, however.

I'm surprised that this one's leaving KD before Shockwave. I guess there's more value to be gained in a launch coaster than a Togo stand-up torture device.

^ You can always take the 5-hour trip up to KD. There are still 3 launched coasters there.
