  1. Grrr.... so I'm assuming there's no single rider line for Cajun, that's the one credit I'm worried about missing. Oh well. Too bad you didn't get on Superman, while Tatsu rocks the other B&M flyers I still find the original SUF's to be quite fun.
  2. Good work so far, I like your take on Top Gun. (desert strike)
  3. If only Intamin took the Schwarzkopf shuttle to the next level... ::drools::
  4. I think the icons going through the drawers thing is awesome! Much better than HOS's crazy website this year... I can't believe I'm going to BGA in October and missing HOS again... ::sigh:: 2 weeks from today you guys will have a huge photo TR of the event, can't wait to try out the new Olympus Stylus!
  5. Oh well, at least you got some rides in on El Toro, I know people who travelled down to NJ earlier this season from Maine and it was closed all day! I consider myself lucky to have been able to ride it during my only trip to GADV this year. Glad you had fun! Too bad Ka was closed!
  6. I'm surprised they've just gone ahead and done the entire lift hill with all the work they have to do with the launch track below (electronics, building, etc.) I thought it would be easier to get all the final details worked out there before adding supports and track above... No complaints here though, this thing's coming up nice and quick!
  7. The layout looks awesome but I find the interior scenery 'meh' upon taking a second look at the video. The outside of the building is so impressive and then that dragon thing they have inside of it is so... not.
  8. When the park is dead like this does the Ragin' Cajun still get a bad line? I know even on dead park days Pandemonium still has a long line. I'm hoping to make a credit stop here early next Spring.
  9. I was going to say... I've noticed this too on SF top spins. EVERY SF park I've been to runs a bad program, and two of the SF parks that have top spins I've never seen run them! (Former SFWOA and SFDL) Basically any top spin that's not Strate's shows manually run Huss top spin isn't going to even come close to the short, weak program that SF runs.
  10. We actually have those hand-scanner thingies to punch in here at work. (not fingerprint scanners but it takes a compartive photo of the top of your hand for recognition) but yeah he is right... I forget which Disney park but I remember them having print scanners which is actually kind of weird when you think about it.
  11. ^ Say it is so! A quick question here... Was DL's Space Mountain dual tracked at one point and then made to be a single track, or has there always been just one coaster in there? I hope WDW gets the same treatment, I can really notice the positive changes on the west coast version!
  12. I love FoF (and all Premier LIM coasters for that matter) but I find it secondary to Disneyland's space mountain. SM's overall experience with the on-board soundtrack and new special effects make it more interesting to me.
  13. I find that so strange they would put so much detail and energy into mocking up a full scale coaster. When you say sales center, do you mean the place where park-goers will buy their tickets for the park? Can't wait to see the actual park start to come up!
  14. I hope Japan's Space Mountain gets the DLR treatment. The DL version (Mission 2) makes the east coast version look bad. It was my second favorite ride in the park, the first being Indy of course...
  15. 'My Documents/RCT3/Parks' is where my parks folder is located... To open a park, load the game, choose sandbox mode, and then open the park from there.
  16. Hey there, With the recent post about Oktoberfest being set up and being a big fan of dark rides, I was wondering if anyone had any photos or knew of any websites that show off the fairs of Germany's HUGE portable dark rides and walk-thrus/funhouses. If you have any photos please post them here. Thanks!
  17. S:tE is a ride designed to "roll back" meaning the LSMs that launch the car also gradually slow it down in the other direction.
  18. They have to allow some kind of rolback, take Superman The Escape for example. They may be programmed to brake in the reverse direction but I'll leave that up to one of our many LIM/LSM experts.
  19. I doubt both parks would get rid of this attraction. I liked how while USH closed down their ET, USO still has theirs... and when USO got rid of Kong, you can always get the similar experience at USH. Just not gonna be clones anymore, that's all.
  20. ^ Yes, it was recently made official. Get your last rides in for BTTF! I've gotten sick of this ride over the years, hopefully it's going to be replaced by a thrill ride. One more of those couldn't hurt...
  21. It seems you have talent for RCT3, you ought to make an actual recreation of, I bet it would come out well!
  22. Upon looking closely at the layout... WTF is up with that weird curve after the launch? I know it was Vekoma and not the recreation. I remember seeing a picture of it at IAAPA and thinking the same thing. That's a weird element...
  23. Awww man, I can't wait to try Raging Bull next year. I don't hear many great things about it but a B&M steel twister??? Hell yeah...
  24. MSLSM-I've actually ridden "Broadway Trip" when it was set up at Seaside Heights New Jersey, it's gone through several locations and name changes- I rode it as "Wizard's Cavern". It's since been demolished. To make up for it, Casino Pier is making a remake of Wizard's Cavern/Broadway Trip called Pirate's Hideaway. Sorry to go off topic, just really liked that ride... This ought to be fun!
  25. My fave is Disney-MGM's Rockin' Roller Coaster, but then again I'm a huge Aerosmith fan...
