  1. I also found it hilarious, the kid was never in any danger he was just scared of the ride. His Mom(?) was laughing the whole time. Good comedy.
  2. Sounds like a cool idea, I suppose. I don't even want to imagine what it costs for a night in that hotel. Sean "Days Inn" Costa
  3. That slide's gonna be huge and I love the colors! So now this waterpark will have both a custom funnel slide and a custom bowl slide, very cool!
  4. I finally got myself a digital camera today (Olympus Stylus 710 7.1 megapixels) so here are some shots of my pin collection... Dorney Park WDW Magic Kingdom Universal Studios & Halloween Horror Nights. My absolute favorites and the rarest of my pins, Tokyo Disney Sea. I just got the Stormrider pin today. Six Flags (St. Louis, GADV, SFMM) Disney-MGM Studios Lake Compounce (just got the Thunder & Lightning pin last week) Knott's Islands Of Adventure Epcot Disneyland Disney's California Adventure Cedar Point Busch Parks WDW Animal Kingdom
  5. I got a nice new 7.1 megapixel camera today so I took some new shots of the in-production models... Tatsu needs paths and a station and then it will finally be done. Kraken is ALMOST finished, still need to do some painting. Top Thrill Dragster, still needs the final details...
  6. This happens to me all the time, sometimes I delete and redownload the files and then it works, sometimes it doesn't. Quite frustrating....
  7. I am an inspiration? Woooooo.
  8. I could not agree more. The storyteller was completely lame... and I never understood how supposedly the Storyteller was the icon while the Terra Queen had the big show at the port of evil. Leave it to marketing to suck the life out of the creativite department... (She barely showed up in Where evil hides! So random!!) Even though Eddie barely saw any daylight in the past few years, he's still my favorite icon just due to the fact they took the time to make a GREAT backstory for him and he was genuinely creepy and not just another idea. Hopefully he will be showcased this year, even though I appreciated the Eddie scene in Horror Night Nightmares.
  9. I hope the "no fights" comment wasn't aimed at me. If anything, I take things like this as a compliment and not an insult and love to see creativity and effort in any form possible. A 22 year old complaining that a 12 year old copied his idea would be pretty sad. Again, JUST A JOKE. Stuff like this has not and never will bother me.
  10. Wow... wicked original. I like the drop on JP, kind of looks like this one doesn't it.
  11. As a note, I take all criticism contructively and my aim is to make a really great park for people to check out when it's finished. I will definately work on the buildings some and as I said before, the park will be improved greatly before I release it. I have a few days off coming up so a lot of work will be done on the park.
  12. Regarding ACE... I am an ACE member, I joined mainly to attend the Tatsu/X ERT on my Cali Trip and I like the newsletters and magazines... There were however a bucnh of characters at the event who really made the entire organization look bad. There was this (must have been) 50 year old guy whining about how the park is taking too long to open tatsu for ert, and there aren't enough trains, and blah blah blah... several people in the group just kept bitching the whole time about complete nonsense, and then there was of course the "bragging" enthusiasts who were mentioned before. Just a couple of weird characters there... While I am a member of ACE, I find the ACE humor hilarious because I see first hand where all the jokes come from when I attend these events.
  13. ^ Well said. as I mentioned before I don't think this year will have any lame houses. There's always one bad house... like Cold Blind Terror, Jungle Of Doom, etc. almost as if they just used the last of the budget to squeeze out one extra haunted house... This year all the houses are based on previous concepts that were proven at previous events to be successful. I love the fact the event has gone back to the studios. I haven't missed HHN since 2001 and agree the event is much better at USO than IOA. Every year IOA has to keep similar themes to its previous year, there's not much you can do to retheme a jungle as anything else but an "evil jungle". And marvel as a city overtaken by "evil." At USO, they're able to modify any of their many available buildings to make GREAT houses. IMO, there hasn't been a better HHN since 2001 when they had edgy houses like Pitch Black and Run, and since it's finally come back to just USO, I see great things. We'll see on Sept. 30!
  14. I found that hilarious, thanks for sharing the link.
  15. Chris, I'm sorry to hear of your injury, but keep in mind Universal's haunted houses are able to accomodate guests in wheel chairs, so that would be the worst case scenario, you'd still be able to experience them.
  16. They've actually got both Gwazi tracks going? Hopefully I get that Lion credit when I visit BGA in 3 weeks.
  17. Awesome news, hopefully some photos show up so we can see if it does in fact use the same old weird trains.
  18. Nice, another flying turns update. One of those photos made me realize how large of a footprint the ride actually takes up. I thought it was a much smaller coaster based on other photos.
  19. Hey Robb, I see the similarities in shape but that object in the first picture is HUGE! The car would be bigger than the cab of that mack truck.
  20. Here's my current top 10... 1 ) Superman: Ride Of Steel (SFNE) 2 ) El Toro 3 ) California Screamin' 4 ) SheiKra 5 ) Tatsu 6 ) Millennium Force 7 ) Alpengeist 8 ) Incredible Hulk 9 ) Kraken 10) Volcano the Blast Coaster
  21. ^ Well, I mean they could be anything but they aren't the cars because of the shape of the tarps... They would be WAY too big. It is possible the cars are under there somewhere but it could also be possible that it's nothing more than 27,000 frozen burritos... The trains will probably arrive once the structure nears completion as usual or maybe not at all this year considering they don't need to open it for another 8 months.
  22. Nice photos! Especially that one shot of Loop Garou. Goiath and GeForce are the two coasters I want to try the most, I must try that Stengel dive.
  23. Initial reaction to the concept art? Wow... Glad to see the ride will most likely have magnetic lift hill like Cali Screamin', the beyond vertical drop was definately a surprise as well. I'm glad to see the park is building something DIFFERENT and not trying to beat height/speed records.
  24. Is anyone else still confused about this? The only one i've done out of those is Jaguar but it was neither a kiddy or a hyper coaster... I really did like it though.
  25. I completed tracking and about half the supports of Dueling Dragons (Earth vs. Wind) Some landscaping has been done as the coasters will contour to the cliffside for some terrain coaster moments. The station ill of course be built up into a castle and the twin dueling helices will also be enclosed in a dark castle tower. DD will look MUCH better once theming/supports are done, but here's just an idea of what I've got so far... The last of four duels the ride will have. Wind dragon blasts through the middle of earth dragon's flat spin. These are both looong coasters. Woo, Dueling Dragons...
