  1. Revenge Of The Mummy is pretty high up there for me.
  2. I wonder which park would actually get something that looks this... industrial? Don't get me wrong... sign me up for a ride, it just doesn't look like something the public would be willing to ride in vast numbers.
  3. Very creative stuff, I love it!
  4. Definately the pretzel loops on the Ultimate Flights, that's pretty much why I'm anticipating Tatsu so much.
  5. Are you sure it's the wheels producing the sound? The only thing I can think of is that perhaps Medusa has it's supports/track filled with sand while Scream isn't filled. I'm not sure if that's the case, but it's the only thing I can think of for a difference in sound.
  6. Cool, hope the theming is up to par.
  7. Too bad I won't get to Holiday World anytime in the near future. Oh well, got El Toro 5 hrs South.
  8. It's definately not a clone. One of the contractors (Littel Construction) assured me of this, while I don't know anything specific about the layout itself, I am positive it is original. This comes from someone who has personally welded on Riddler, Goliath, Batman, etc... So I would trust him. I'm really anticipating this announcement, as I'm finally going back to CA next May.
  9. That really just screams pathetic. Reminds of the crybabies that live near SFNE. The park takes away the speedway, builds a sound barrier... still nothing but complaints.
  10. The Amazing Adventures Of Spiderman, the vehicle's state of the art hydraulics IS actually half the experience. The fact that it simulates crashes and falls while actually moving on a track is what amazes me, nevermind the awesome 3D effects.
  11. Sweet! I was waiting for this to be confirmed for a while, and it doesn't get any more confirmed than that! S&S Sky Swatter is more than I ever could have asked for as far as a new flat ride goes. Best news I've heard in a while!
  12. That is one messed up set of inversions! This thing is lookin better every day, thanks for keeping us posted.
  13. I voted yes, not because I care about having x amount of credits, just because they're two seperate tracks.
  14. "Abismo" is Spanish for Abyss. I don't think the art shows the proper color scheme. I'm hoping some of these start popping up around here.
  15. Speed Monster is turning out to be one big surprise, that first set of inversions looks great, hope I get to get on this one someday. Thanks for sharing the photos.
  16. I'm not speaking for everyone anyways, but you're right the east coast is pretty much where I get my park trips in.
  17. SFNE-6 times a year SFGADV-3 times a year IOA-3 times a year (for different events, especially HHN)
  18. El Toro is turning out to be my most anticipated coaster so far for '06. Thanks to Six Flags for providing the in-park photos.
  19. Wow! is the only word that comes to mind. Looks like a steel Boulder Dash from that angle.
  20. Actually, a new coaster sometimes pulls through 1 or two cars rather than an entire train. They did this to the yet to be named Thorpe Park accelerator before completing assembly of the trains. The coaster will most likely run 5 car trains once actual testing begins.
  21. The Great Escape could have great potential if purchased by Cedar Fair. talk about a park that needs a change in skyline...
  22. Another vote for SFNE's Cyclone. While we're at it, let's get some Millennium Flyers on that.
  23. That Disk'O Coaster looks like a fun ride. With that plot of land shown in the picture on the first page, my first thoughts were a Huss Topple Tower, but everything else points to Zamperla extended Disk'o .
  24. Wow, people werent kidding when they said the lift would be as steep as BTDK.
  25. It would be great if they just replaced Mean Streak's entire circuit with the Intamin pre-fab track and new trains.
