Well, I remember most of the "Pitch Black" haunted house was padded down with foam, egg cartons (?), and weird textured materials. I'm sure they'll idiot-proof all the houses as usual.

-I doubt CP's will be an upcharge ride since it's the high capacity model. (I mean it COULD be an upcharge but it holds a ton of people, no reason to charge more) -I'm glad LC is getting one as well, I'm just happy for CP expanding its flat ride collection. I won't even go back to CP until 2007 where I'll probably hit Compounce a dozen times till then.

First Drop reported it recently. I think it's great they're adding more flats to the park.

I've never been to Disneyland, this is the first I've heard of that technology being used.

Sweet! A large capacity Screamin' Swing will be built for the '06 season at CP. I've been on Dorney's smaller version and it was worth the 5 bucks. (Considering most upcharge rides are $20.00 +) Does anyone know if Thorpe Park's is upcharge or since it's a larger capacity, is it free with admission?

Speaking of Intamin 1st gen freefalls... I really hope Stuntman's Freefall at SFNJ gets replaced by a modern tower. A GREAT drop ride is the one thing SFGADV really needs besides more flats.

Screamscape had a batch of rumors this morning... -The icon may be a biker character, and with that of course comes a motorcyle house. -Poseidon's Fury will become a mine shaft themed haunted house which will be completely dark except for your headlight you must wear in the house. (which will activate the scares) -A house based on the fear of attics/basements with many stairs. -Another PITCH BLACK style haunted house. (sweet) All rumors at this point, of course, and the latest is that both parks will be used again (at least part of them) Cya there

Superman at SFNE. It's my fav to begin with, but dropping into that red neon-glowng mist after the first drop is the best moment on a coaster I've ever had.

I have a ton of photos and some great videos of Morey's rides, and even the waterslides. I have POV footage of every Morey's haunted house (walk throughs and ride-ons, the boat, etc.) I'll be willing to submit them to you once they're done being edited.

Even if it's 300' I'm sure they'll still call it the tallest in the world. Some parks out there have a habit of doing that.

Dorney to Hershey is nice and close, and all you have to do is stay on 78 for the most most part. An hour and a half is pretty accurate.

I bring my vid cam in, stash it in a locker, and take video only after I've ridden anything. I lost a video camera to Journey To Atlantis. I wasn't taking POV, but it was in my pocket, in a plastic bag, and it still got wet. Luckily I bought it at Wal Mart, so they took it back.

I wish that "looping steel roller coaster" could be a rocket coaster like Storm Runner. Why are there no modern Intamins in Florida? B&M owns the whole state! Glad to see the park is on a roll adding rides, great sign!

Can anyone identify the track on site as an element besides... station, launch, top hat, brakes? The description of the ride sounds awesome, wish I knew the layout.

Wow, good stuff! I thought the shark tank slide at the Atlantis hotel was great (only saw it on TV) Glad they'll be something like that within a reasonable distance.

I personally hope it's a B&M hyper, the GA/FL area will then have all of B&M's catalog.

I really think they're starting to reach their limits as far as building the support structure for these things. I wouldn't doubt seeing a 500'+ drop mounted to an existing structure for support. The cost is just too great. There's going to be some point (maybe not 500') where they're just not going to be able to build a massive support structure for a ride.

-The fact that you have to deal with the scum of society just to enjoy a ride on a quality Intamin. (SFNE) -Basketballs -Paying $15 to leave your car in a parking lot patrolled by 16 year olds. -People smoking in line and then arguing you to death when you ask them to put it out. -Getting a faceful of hair from the chick in front of you -$12 for probably the worst food I've ever eaten :radio: -People that use the "no line cutting" sign to jump the rail into the queue. -The fear of getting shot in the SFA parking lot -The graveyard of Labatt Blue cans in the Superman queue at SFDL -GUM AND GRAFFITI are my pet peeves, especially when the same shit is there year after year -Girls that scream bloody murder during even mild parts of the ride -$3.50 for a bottle of W A T E R, one of our most precious, required resource, who thought Hydrogen and Oxygen could cost so much?!? -Roped off seats on rides -When 10 people board a train freom the exit ramp because 1 person in their party has a cast on their leg after you waited a couple hours Somebody stop me!!
