Sahara Sam's Oasis Indoor Water Park
WFChris replied to Speeddeamon128's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^I can understand your problem with this situation. From a customer service standpoint, the park should have 'righted' the situation for your group and provide observer access. For $600, their priority is you. However, I do feel that the park is right in charging each person to enter. As teacups mentioned before, everybody pays to enter a park, even if you are having a birthday party. I (in the minority on this site I KNOW) do not like Disneyland, but I still have to pay when I accompany younger family members to the park. I'm there for them, just supervising, but I'm still out 70 dollars. I feel the waterpark should be more clear in their policies for Birthday guests, but I dont think they are wrong in charging each guest for entrance. I understand the safety of your 4 year old, but you are 1 person in a limited capacity building. Each person pays their way. I am sorry to hear that you had that unfortunate situation. Chris. -

Figured I would mention this since it hasn't been yet: Admission without the ACE card is $13.95 Chris.

^I stopped reading the comments when the discussion turned to Rasin Bran. Apparently they are not raisins at all, they are flies with their wings torn off. Oh boy. Chris. -
Maybe this product is intended for a . . . larger audience? Chris.

^ Lots of good pictures! I love the incorrect shirt references. I saw an ad for an event at Knotts and on the right side of the screen is Maverick, and the left side had Tatsu and the SFMM tower. Does the GP really not notice??? Chris.

^^I think he should get the credit. If somebody is holding out just to cause drama later on, I think it is in poor taste. Probably somebody that was part of 'that team' at the SFMM scavenger hunt! I think, Mike, this also means that you need to post a time limit to claim the prize at the parks. Say, like a week after you post the TR, the card is void. I have a feeling a week is FAR longer than TPR users will need to find the card. I see this getting very aggressive! A time limit can prevent 'drama.' Chris.

My first roller coaster was the Timberline Twister at KBF. I think it may have had a different name long, long ago. Chris. -

Six Flags Magic Mountain Terminator Salvation: The Ride
WFChris replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
-I think the bridge looks just fine...you would only need it to be one human being wide for entry, and one for exit. I have no doubt that the queue will extend beyond that point on busy days. Riddlers Revenge proves that you do not need a very wide exit. -They have always done the 'running of the bulls' at SFMM, as long as I can remember. Running to Batman was quite exhausting, as was Riddlers! Having people run over that hill will definitely separate the strong and the weak!!! I have no idea whether or not they would change their policy for this ride, but I point out those facts because other rides have been even farther from the entrance and they never walked us back to the ride at opening. ^^Doesnt seem too 'retarded' to me, the comment made perfect sense. (???) Chris. -
I know Walt Disney was against carnival games, however these seem to have an atmosphere that make it very 'disney-like.' The experience makes it worth the dollar (or 3). I especially liked the lights above the horse racing game (the first game in the video). Definitely better than the original games below the coaster:) Chris. (Post 200!!)

No, because it's too early to judge that! Did you know that talking about politics on TPR is shunned?
-
^Without PP, they would not have 10 "Coasters" I also completely disagree with you, but thats okay, I know it doesn't have a lot of fans here at TPR. Besides, CF has been amazing at stacking a bunch of attractions on top of each other, they dont need to remove it to use the land! Chris.

Haunt Auditions Are Back!
WFChris replied to socalMAN123's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^^ I think if you are going to be a Haunt monster, there is absolutely NO excuse for breaking character. You are creating an environment and you are responsible for its success. At no moment should that employee had said 'I need to take a break' in a normal voice. You don't hear Mickey Mouse asking for a break, do you? I think you should treat your job equally as seriously. If you cant do your seasonal part time job for a few hours in a row without taking a break than you shouldn't be there. At the very least, have a professional 'code' indicating you need a break without the GP having any indication. Chris.
