Parking attendants are not security guards or 'well being guardians.' They are toll collectors that make minimum wage; cut them some slack, bud. As Magic Alumni said, the dog was likely stuffed in the Louis Vuitton bag, out of site of the attendant; and, the booth is well above the height of most vehicles so all they can really see is the driver side of the car.

That may be the icing on the cake for the Booster up there. When I lived in the area, it seemed like there was an article in the paper every week about how the neighbors of Scandia hated it! I believe this is the installation where screaming is forbidden and they will end the ride cycle early if you make any noises.

Did you happen to notice if the space center is still operated by Delaware North Companies (DNC)? They have a special way of taking things that are/were really cool, and either not maintaining them, or running them into the ground without updating EVER so badly that they are no longer cool or interesting.

There is nothing conclusive in that article. After every statement it says something along the lines of 'nothing has been proven whether or not this is bad for your health.'
