I know people want the variety of both directions, but the fact is that Backwards Superman is a much better ride than it was before. I'm happy for the change and hope to never see a forward facing option on the ride again. When you are facing the sky, there is really no perception of how high you actually are, so if you're craving that feeling, you can ride Montezooma's Revenge and get a bonus loop in the process!

That was ridiculous. Disney sure knows how to indulge people! -
Harry Traver's 4th dimension coaster

Because I've always wanted to get 'zapped' mid-ride. Weird. -
I have only ridden a Golden Horse Loop-Screw, and it was, you know, 'fine.' I guess the odd part is that while the cosater was only 4 years old, it felt like something that came out of the '80's. The transitions were clunky, the layout completely uninspired, and it was a bit jerky (though nothing too crazy.) Aaaaand I just RCDB'ed it and apparently it's not Golden Horse, it's "Beijing Shibaolai Amusement Equipment." So I guess for what it's worth I thought their coasters were pretty dated by design.

I also think the only way FP+ would really thrive at the DLR is if it gave a benefit to guests visiting the park over annual passholders. Something like allowing overnight resort guests to book in advance, but keep the passholders from booking until the day of their visit. Anything to keep those pesky passholders in check (recently made the decision to not renew because I just don't like the people at the park right now).

I'm not much of a haunt guy, but this event has always intrigued me. Mostly the shooting zombies with actual guns part! -
I love these random little park updates! Thanks for posting this

Best Six Flags Park

I've only gone to Six Flags Magic Mountain and Six Flags Mexico, and Mexico takes the win as the better park. -

I was wondering if you knew why the mist on Iron Dragon was on even though the park was closed? Is it like, ALWAYS on or something? -

I feel like he is trying to draw some kind of Schwarzkopf spinning mouse object ride type thing. -

Does customs at LAX count? The weirdly longest queue I have ever witnessed is for the rapids ride at KI. -
Busch Gardens Los Angeles

^That is correct, they did own property in the Arroyo Seco for their home, however the gardens they built around the home were open to the public. You can learn more about it at www.pasadenagardens.com/ And yes, Descanso Gardens has nothing to do with the Busch property, however (and completely off topic now) it does have some very cool history as well, particularly in regards to the time period of Japanese Internment Camps here in California. -
You really think the high five is just a parking lot spectacle gimmick? I'd ride anything just for the chance to high five the riders of the train I'm racing with. That's exciting. To be clear, you will still be several feet away from the other train. You will not be able to actually hi-five anybody.

The dueling is not all that important to me. When I'm in the freeway all by myself, I feel like I'm hauling ass. When there are a bunch of other cars, I feel less of a sensation of speed. Same goes for coasters...I mean it's cool looking over at another car full of people but it takes away from the speed element of the ride. In that regard, it'll be cool when it duels and it'll be cool if it doesn't.
