On Alaskan Airlines they give you one taquito on international flights to Mexico I know this does not answer your question, but yes. -
The last new Coaster in your Count
WFChris replied to K1ngdaKa88's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Fun question! I think mine is Yolo Coaster at SFMM. Seeing as how I haven't ridden the new kids coasters at sfmm although I totally could, it took me a minute to figure it out since I don't really think about bagging credits unless I'm at a new park. Before Yolo Coaster it would be Raton Loco at Mundo Divertido in Tijuana. -

^Or you can get some REAL Mexican food (aka not burritos!) Mole, chile verde, tacos, pozole. . . . . Call me weird, but I've never been impressed with San Diego Mexican food. I think it's wonderful here in LA if you know where to find it, and its also all kinds of awesome in Tijuana, but San Diego has always been kind of meh for me. It may very well be because they call taquitos 'rolled tacos.' Yeah, that's probably it. Ok I just made myself hungry -
Just thought I would chime in again and say that I LOVE Green Lantern. I know many people that love Green Lantern. Not quite sure why it's hated so much on this site as I have had much worse rides on Colossus, X2, Ghostrider, Revolution, Riddlers Revenge, and many other rides. Yes, it's intense, and it's a lot of fun because of that. The whining about Green Lantern being too intense or too rough is why we don't get airtime machines or anything else otherwise extreme here in Southern California. It's why Goliath stops on the mid-course. It's why Robb Alvey hates Californians. Why do you think Skyrush and i305 are as far as possible from California? So many people feel this privelage that everything needs to be built for them, and if they don't like it, well then it should be torn down! It's trash! Nobody ever stops for a second and thinks that other people MIGHT JUST LIKE something they don't. Ok end rant

"Welcome back riders, how was your ride?"
WFChris replied to Samuel's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Actually, last time I was there (it was my friends first visit), out of all the rides, he actually noted at X2 that nobody entering the station looked like they were having a good time. We then proceeded to have a rougher than usual ride. As far as So Cal parks, the only ride I can think of that constantly has mega-happy guests returning to the station is Space Mountain at DLR. At Six Flags Mexico, people are cheering and clapping coming back into the station on pretty much every coaster, but that's because Mexicans know how to have a good time and enjoy themselves. -

If you go down to San Diego, there are also 3 credits in Tijuana. They aren't anything special, but you would be going to another country and...well...getting 3 credits Let me know if you need info on how to accomplish this. -

Thanks for the update! Do they have an 'official' opening date for the ride yet? Also, is the queue going to go over the midway or something? It looks like the midway goes directly in between the queue and the ride.... -

Call me crazy, but at a few moments during the POV I was getting a SFMM Flashback vibe. This ride might actually get me out to Florida. -
Very nice report, looking forward to the rest! How was HK Pride?

How do you watch full-length videos/movies?
WFChris replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
1. How do you most often watch videos? (DVD, Blu-Ray, Digital Download, Streaming.) Streaming 2. What streaming services do you use the most? Youtube & Netflix 3. How many DVDs or Blu-Rays do you buy a year on average? As of the last two years, ZERO. 4. Do you use a device like Apple TV, Roku, or Chromecast? No, but am thinking about getting Apple TV. 5. How much do you watch videos on YouTube versus all the mediums listed in the poll? I watch YouTube FAR more than any other medium. -

I just want to throw in another vote for 'Yes, the Toy Story Hotel is ugly.' -
I have to admit in my last few visits I haven't even gone to that part of the park. It's been a dead zone (to me anyways) for years. I'm VERY excited that the building is being repurposed into a dark ride, as it should be. When I was a kid, KOD was always our 'night capper' ride, so it's great to see some life again back there....and not in the form of a station for a hyper coaster going along the back of the park (remember that rumor?).

Photo TR: Paul and Stacy visit Western Pennsylvania
WFChris replied to shivtim's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I need to go on a Pennsylvania trip. It's just...other than the coasters and theme parks I have zero interest in visiting that part of the country. Also, you plugged Superman at SFM so I had to reply & bump your thread -
^I know you're just trying to be funny and hate on SFMM because it's cool here, but how is that exactly a 'SFMM' move? They do count their kids rides in their coaster count, but they have never tried to promote them like something they aren't. SFMM typically builds innovative and unique rides, and I don't really see them going with a cookie cutter ride or something small and lame for their 20th. Sure, they have built some WTF coasters in the past, but they usually turn out pretty cool and thrilling.
