read my post. look up Peppers Ghost on wikipedia if you dont fully understand. its really simple and fairly cheap, but it gives an amazing effect.

i thought it was pixie dust... probably supplied by Tinkerbell. if its a live person or something its called 'Casper's Ghost' or something. basically, a piece of glass is place at a 45* angle to the audience with an actor/actress standing behind it. it is well lit as this will not prevent glare. there is a secret room in line with the glass where another actor/actress is hidden with the 'after effects' as it were When the 'effect' happens, the light where the actor/actress dims down and the hidden room is lit, thus turning the glass into a mirror. its quite conventional and is very effective as it was developed in the 1960's i believe...

my sister (aged 3 at the time) jumped off a diving board in a private pool with a rubber ring around her waist. She threw her arms up and completely sunk to the bottom of the pool and started panicking. i jumped in and saved her A friend got drunk and forgor what a road was and nearly walked out infront of a car before i yelled 'gay!', lol. i nearly got killed by him on return! then my younger brother saved my life (not that it was in any danger)on Corkscrew at AT. i was riding on a 4 click restraint without the seat belt (they didnt install them, stupid b*stards). we got to the top of the lift hill when my bars clicked, and opened up a bit. i had 1/2 a foot between my stomach and the restraints. it was FD3 all over again! if you know how hard it is to stay seated on that ride, you cant imagine how i managed to wedge myself into my seat over the airtime hill using my brothers restraints and the little piece of plastic in front. scary as hell!

Mine would have to be Thorpe Park Stealth in the background with Tidal Wave just in front, with Colossus, the Log Flume and (sometimes) Slammer and Samurai over to the far left, with X:NwO's pyramid poking above the trees, rush, N:I and Vrtex all centre stage with Detonator poking out the back lovely!

my Government and Politics teacher starts taking the pi$$ out of me purely because i hadn't answered a question from him in a piece of homework, even though i done the rest. he asks me why i didntdo it and i said 'Saturday i was revising for my AS Level Psychology exam this thursday and on sunday i was doing Photography coursework wich has to be fully completed within the next 3 weeks.' he takes complete offence to my having oursework from other lessons as well as A Levels and says im worthless. wtf is up with that?

Oblivions definately comes first. the hole seems so small from the top, if you get one of the outer seats (the frthest one away as you board preferably), it feels as if you are going to hit the ground! i also like the little tunnel on N:I purely because its a 180* banked drop and turn, then you hit a layer of mist which, when going through the tunnel and going up the lift hill, seems to make you get hotter and feels as if you are being burnt. i love the tunnel on Air... not! *edit* and what someone el;e said about The Vampire's tunnel, it was an amazing tunnel until they had to cut half of it off due to the floorless trains. from the corner before the drop, it looked as if the track just stopped and it was a brick wall, you'd do a massive dive into the cave and see a massive flashing light (on-ride photo). it felt as if you were actually being attacked by a vampire or something, then you woud come flying round a corner and feel as if you were going to clip the end of the tunnel. now you just go under a bridge... its still fairly impressive, with the speed and all, you swing quite high. if you sit on the furthest away seat in the station with someone who's heavier than you in the other seat, you feel at that part as if you were going to scrape your feet on the wall. it always makes me retract me feet very slightly

Thank God i havent heard of a law like this in England or i could sue Thorpe Parks asses to hell (not that i would want to) i got grabbed on the ankle, arm, shoulder, got barged out of the way, head and stomach (yes, while in the mazes, which actually intensified the experience, especially as my head was held still while one of the very last scare actors screamed right into my face! they have some pretty gruesome face paints, let alone the breath! lol) joking aside, im sure it was either meant to be playful over-the-shoulder hug or it was sheer accident about the kid being hit on the head. no damage could've come to him, its like a big teddy-bear!
