  1. Foundation for B:TR in the process of being poured. SFFT tweeted the pic.
  2. Iron Rattler has always been a looker. Pics are from TPR SFFT page.
  3. Hmmm..... I have to say I'm a "No" on this one. It seems like here in Phoenix, EVERYONE I meet seems to be in an open relationship or looking to be in an open relationship. I got to a point where I was just gonna say "Screw it, monogamy is for Lesbians" and jump on the open relationship wagon but I decided that I'm not going to settle and give up what I truly want which is ONE MAN.......and I can be quite jealous. I don't judge my friends who have open relationships but I've also seen open relationships tear a few relationships apart. I just say "Proceed with Caution".
  4. Yup. If anything save your Go pro for something else........leave the coaster footage to TPR. You're not going to produce a better POV than TPR does. *In my opinion* Just watch the TPR YouTube channel or order the BluRay discs. Pants down the BEST COASTER FOOTAGE ever!!!
  5. The problem with SFMM is that' they're too worried about maintaining the "Roller Coaster Capital of the World" title that they really don't give a crap about anything else. SFMM has settled and apparently is quite satisfied with being mediocre in every aspect with the exception of maintaining their coaster count. Until that changes, that tower is just going to continue to rot away.
  6. According to SFFT and a RMC discussion thread on RMC's Facebook page, that would be track being loaded up in Idaho where RMC is fabricating the Track portion of BTR. As far as SKC goes, it's looking pretty good from the pics posted on Facebook and Twitter by the park.
  7. They should be able to topper track the whole thing without the I-box steel track. I'm sure the other part of its roughness is the trains that are being used on it. As mentioned in a previous post....
  8. Everything at SFAW pretty much, except those few coasters relocated like Serial Thriller.
  9. The other attraction hasn't been announced yet. I'd be surprised if it was a sky coaster considering SFFT used to have one from about 1994 till about 2001 or 2002. I guess we'll just have to wait. Nice that SKC is getting the paint job. Scream at SFMM is going to get a repaint too. I wonder if Six Flags will be doing that at other parks in the chain.
  10. $1.89 in North Phoenix.
  11. Intamin: Maverick B&M: Kumba
  12. ^^ Yup I agree. Slowly but surely we'll see some good design updates from them. B&M pushes the envelope a little more slowly than other companies. I guess that's why they don't have to retrack or take out elements on a new coaster cause of design flaws. They pretty much deliver a reliable product in one shot.
  13. I was just going off this previous post not thinking about 2015. B&M is pretty well off and still my favorite coaster manufacturer in terms of looks, feel, and reliability. I don't spend too much time judging it's forces. As long as the ride is fun, they're at the top of the charts for me. I do think however they need to step up their game in layout design. They got quite a bit "cookie cutter" with very similar layouts and the interlocking corkscrews have been over done a bit. But I guess at the end of the day it's what their customers want so.....
  14. I love TPR cause of the number of Bag o Crap that I've received over the years. The main thing is the awesome photo TRs and the videos.
  15. They've already topped someone's chart.....a few times over I'm sure. The discussion is rather subjective. They've done well for themselves. B&M may not build as many coasters as intamin or other manufacturers in a single year but I'm sure as hell they make a lot more money a year than most of the other manufacturers. Cedar Fair sure thinks highly of B&M so I guess that's one chart already topped. Just my take on it.
  16. Just downloaded the Steel version of Roller Coasters in the Raw. LOVE IT!!! I couldn't wait for the BluRay that I ordered but I'm sure it'll be here soon. One thing I noticed and this probably has been brought up but on Lightning Run at 31:40 in the downloadable version, it looks like someones phone flew off the coaster. But darn, Lightning Run looks freakin awesome. Thanks again for putting together such a great video. I get to rewatch it again on my flight to San Antonio in a few weeks. And holy cow, Helix looks like such an awesome ride. Mack sure builds some pretty awesome looking coasters.
  17. "My butt spent more time up in the air than it did in the seat, and that's a good thing." -Iron Rattler media day video
  18. Volume 9 DVDs is Bluray #5
  19. Forget it. I ordered it anyways.

  21. Another awesome update by TPR. Glad to see the TPR presence in te park for HiP and the construction updates. No matter how many coaster sites are out there, I can always count on TPR for great detail and excellent photos in their trip reports. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see more as we move into the new season.
  22. Excellent review and pictures. Never would have thought it would have been possible to do those three Disney Parks in a day but you did well with the time management and got to do everything you wanted to do.
  23. $1.99 here in Phoeniz, AZ
