They just need to topper tack the entire thing and just get it over with. The layout is great. And they need new trains. -

^^ I totally agree. Six Flags' prior management did a fine job of tarnishing the company reputation and it's going to take a long time to fix it and peoples opinions. On the other hand, I also believe that Six Flags is trying to better their reputation but it's not going to happen over night. How well did they take care of Scooby Doo? Will it be the same? will it be better? Or worse? Only time will tell.....and that will mean more than a bunch of plans written on paper. -

This is by far the best attraction at SFSTL since American Thunder!!! I see SFFT getting a new Sally dark ride to replace Scooby Doo in the next few years for sure. -
IAAPA 2014 Live Coverage!

^^ Hwfan, definitely not towards employees like you. I used to be you from 1996 to 2000 at SFFT. I loved my job at Six Flags but it just seems that a lot of the crappy employees give Six Flags a bad name. I'm glad that Six Flags is stepping up their game in the attractions department and I think operations have been getting better and management is taking note of that, which is great. The experience is getting better and because of that, I continue to visit either Sfmm or SFFT as much as I can. I'm loving the IAAPA updates so far and even though some parks are getting that SuperLoop, I look at the bright side and say "at least those parks are getting some type of attraction vs. nothing at all. And I'm glad sfstl is getting some attention even though lots of people hate that they haven't gotten a huge coaster in a very long time. The animatronics on Justice League look freakin awesome! -

Awesome updates! Thanks Robb! Looks like Six Flags is gonna start playing with some of the bigger boys. They keep uping their game. Hope we see their momentum continue. Now only if a vendor could debut a new and improved Six Flags employee at IAAPA. -
Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread

Cedar Fair must have hired Six Flags marketing director to market this is a new coaster! -
SFFT has the best themeing out of all the Six Flags parks. After Six Flags (Premier at the time) bought Fiesta Texas in 1998, they used a lot of the themeing from SFFT for other parks. (i.e. Crackaxle Canyon, Rockville, Road Runner Express, etc.) for their other parks. Hopefully SFFT won't lose all of it's charm and uniqueness now that the new park president is from SFMM. I'd hate to see SFFT lose it's uniqueness and cleanliness because of management however you never know.

So now that we know that some of the users know how to use the search function on the forums, is the pissing contest over??? Hopefully we will see more sprucing up this upcoming season considering no RMC, no B&M hyper, no Eurofighter, no intamin megalite, no mega, no giga, no kiddie coaster, etc for the next year at least. -

This thread should be locked with a "Do not open until 2016" stamp on it. The speculation has just gotten old and repetitive on this thread in which most if not all of it is never going to happen. -
The thing I like about is that SFFT is pretty well rounded with its coasters. While it would have been nice to get the taller version of this, at 120ft, it's not bad. I still have no doubt that this is going to be a great coaster for the park. It's nice that Six Flags sees a lot of potential with the park. That northwest corner of the 10 and 1604 has just boomed so much that they definitely need it market more to the tourist to get their business so that it's not all spent at La Cantera and The Rim. And I personally think they're trying to cash in on Sea Worlds misfortune and bad press.

^^ I totally agree. At least SFFT is getting some attention. This is definately going to be a great addition to the park. And although it's similar to a Zac Spin, there's only one of those in the U.S. which is Green Lantern. Although it may not be a big deal to is coaster enthusiast, the hype is all about the GP and they are totally eating it up.

The Official TPR Video Thread!

Holy mother of crackwhores! I got nauseous just watching the first 45 seconds of that video. -
This is refreshing to hear. I was worried about Rockville being over Gotham'd and Poltergeist painted green and purple or blue to become Freeze the Joker's Jinx. I have this feeling that Rockville will be Gotham'd more than what has been announced so far. Hopefully not though. I don't think I'd like to see Poltergeist turned into Joker's Jinx.......but on the other hand it's Six Flags. I wouldn't be surprised if they did rethemed Poltergeist and used the Joker's Revenge theme again.(again, it's Six Flags) If you're going to do BTR theme, might as well retheme the area to fit. Considering they announced an "Urban Renewal Project" I'm still thinking there will still be more theming than just that Theatre front for the coaster and the Batmobile. Maybe SKC will get a fresh coat of paint for it's 15th birthday. (yes I know SKC is not in Rockville)

This statement is just ignorant, every New Englander doesn't have that accent which is mostly native to the Boston area and some parts of RI and the park is on the CT border Springfield, MA area where no such accents exist and in all my years of going to this park have I heard this accent routinely while at the park. If you like TC more than WC or because it's closer fine, but come on. Uhmmmm....I'm pretty sure he was being facetious.

I'm thinking that TC is going to be awesome ride however I'm thinking that they'll hardly ever get to do the dispatches right so that they're able to appear as if they're dueling like in the video. Wicked Cyclone looks pretty awesome. Such a compact design it looks like it's going to be just as awesome and I'm totally liking the Wicked Cyclone logo.
