Vegas Trip Planning
ArizonaGuy replied to Taylor Finn's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Pay no attention to the guy that said you can't sneak people into your room. Done it on plenty of trips over the past 5 years. There's so many people in and out its not being monitored although depending on the hotel you may need to flash your room key to security to get to the elevator banks. Book for two with double beds and you can sleep four. Monte Carlo is a good place. The Brand steakhouse at Monte Carlo is pretty good. New York New York is my favorite place to stay but I've stayed at the Monte Carlo a few times and it was good too. MGM to me is overly priced for what it is but to each their own. As far as show recommendations, Zumanity at New York New York is good as long as you don't have any prudes with with since it's rather sexual in nature. Ka is also a good show at MGM. There was also a show a few years ago we saw at Ceasars Palace called "Absinthe" that was freakin hilarious. Favorite buffet on the strip is The Wicked Spoon at the Cosmopolitan. That is the only buffet I'll eat at. Huge selection of different things to eat and a lot are individually served. -
Hurricane Force 5 is going where Frisbee is currently. Spinsanity is going where the old Wipeout ride used to be on the Boardwalk which was directly behind Rockville High. It was walled off for years and then removed around 2002. Currently the area has picnic tables and a shade structure. Fireball will be taking the place of SS Overboard. Old Wipeout location. Future home of Spinsanity.

Thank you Johnny Comelately. Someone posted that sevwra pages back. -
Why Just a troll. Not a troll, douche. The reason why is because people are ungrateful and there's this entitlement thing with many of of the people who post on this thread. So yeh, because of that I'd like to see the smaller version instead of the larger just so I can see all the fanboys bitch and complain.

There is plenty to offer at sfstl but I have to agree with Prozach a little. Not counting Boomerang, the last new coaster was in 2008 wasn't it? Hopefully it won't be too long before sfstl gets its next new coaster. -
PTR: Southwest US parks and brisket

Great BBQ and Trip report. I really enjoyed it. I've never seen anyone eat that much BBQ in such on a coaster trip, or anytime for that matter. That Mexican food you had in San Antonio looks good too. I'm gonna have to look that up the next time I go down there. -

Ok, so maybe I missed this conversation on here, maybe not BUT..... If you had to pick the Boss or American Eagle to get the RMC treatment, which would you prefer? And why? -

I'm really pulling for SFStL for 2016. Hopefully they get a new coaster to add to the coaster line up. I'm still thinking an S&S free spin like SFFT. And of course since BTR and Mr Freeze at SFStL are mirror image coasters, I'm thinking it'll be done as a mirror image as well. Lol j/j Twisted Boss would be amazing but I just dont see it happening for 2016. -
I'm thinking Larson Loop on the Boardwalk themed to a Hurricane or something. SS Overboard is on it's way out, and was confirmed by the park that it wasn't going to reopen. The Larson Loop would fit perfect there. The whole Boardwalk theme with the flats and a coaster and a Larson Loop just fits. The only other thing they need is that wooden coaster.

Is King's Island Essential?
ArizonaGuy replied to sirspud's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'd say Kings Island is a must do. I live in AZ and have been there 3 times in the past 7 years. Great photo ops especially if the Eiffel Tower is open. The assortments of coasters is great in my opinion. -

With most of the attractions set to open on time as advertised this year, it looks like we're dealing with a new Six Flags. The new attractions this year look absolutely amazing even if some of them are just Super Loops. I have a feeling we're going to be seeing many good things from Six Flags in the coming years. -

^ SFStL hasn't established that since I believe they are still in testing mode. SFoT tested with Sally first and now the team is in StLouis getting the ride set up. I'm sure it'll be coming up soon. Hopefully before the beginning of June so they have a little more than a week to go. -

^ Haven't seen anything about it yet but based on the feedback I've seen from SFoT, it looks like SFStL is going to have a winner to deal with! -
I personally would have gotten his name and made a complaint at Guest Services. There's nothing wrong with him having an opinion but I'm sure park management doesn't want to be paying an employee to represent their new ride in a negative manner. When I worked at SFFT in the mid thru late 90's, our saying was "Fake it till you make it". He's never ridden and refuses to ride cause it's not worth his time and calls it weak? How do you know that unless you ride it? What a dumb @$$.
