Yes there is literally a 'boardwalk' you can freely walk on next to the beach, but I think he meant a boardwalk themed section/area of the park, which CP does not have.

I remember writing that, man that time went fast! I don't want to go back. Oh well, at least I have a really nice schedule. Looking forward to May of 2010 when I can look back on this post and ask myself where that time went. This semester sure went by fast! I only have 12 credits this spring semester, so it shouldn't be too bad. Can't wait to go to a park again! It's been too long already!

I understand a price increase in this situation, I'm just saying that it shouldn't be so drastic. Maybe a gradual increase over the next few years. But oh well, I guess if they know that people are still going to pay it, then why not?

While I agree that Homeboy's math proves that it still isn't bad at all, Jarmor is right, it's more of a "principle" thing. Harry Potter or not, that's ridiculous to increase your prices by 70%, especially in this struggling economy. I guess they are really banking on those HP lunatics to show up in packs and bus-loads. I wonder if they'll have a special offer during the Super Bowl again?

I'm just putting faith in the "they know what they are doing" category, and hoping they are still on track with SR.

Honestly, I don't have bad times when I go to parks. I only get to go to a few each summer, so when I do go, I thoroughly enjoy my time spent there.

My only definites so far are Cedar Point and Kennywood. I'm working on trying to go to Kings Dominion, BGE, Darien Lake, Hershey, and a few other places.

In my opinion, they are two completely different experiences.

McKee was such a good sign, he's playing really well and led the league in blocked shots going into their last game. Talbot is still out, too...they'll only get better when he comes back.

I don't know if they showed it on TV or not, but on the "jumbotron" in Ford Field at the 2 minute warning, the Lions mascot was stomping on a Terrible Towel that was ripped in half, and he was also eating another. What happens right after? 3 straight sacks by the Steelers to put the game away. The curse lives on. But seriously, the real reason for those sacks was the Steelers' great fan base. You know you have an AWESOME fan base when you are the away team, but the players can still move their arms up and down to pump up the Pittsburgh fans in attendance on a crucial drive. In the next day's USA Today, it stated that it actually got so loud on those 3 plays, that the Lions o-linemen couldn't hear the snap count and had to watch the ball, thus causing 3 sacks in a row. That's awesome.

Vanderjagt came to mind when you said that. I believe that, to this very day, he is still the most accurate kicker in NFL history, yet that missed FG against the Steelers in the playoffs in 2005 pretty much ended and ruined his career.

Wow, the Flyers can never just take a loss. They always throw hissy fits at the end of games with no time left. Man up and just take the damn loss...I guess that's why they're called the Cryers.

I've been to Cedar Point in early May when it was about 40 degrees and rainy. Fun times. Everything stayed open and we pretty much had the park to ourselves. This occurred more than once. I was doing this for a few years. This was pre-math and physics day.

Any worse than year's past? So far, yes. There have been many screw-ups and blown calls thus far: Putting aside the calls already discussed, -Stefan Logan's fumble - his forward momentum was CLEARLY stopped. The Chargers were holding him up and just took the ball from him. -Jerome Harrison's fumble - same thing, his momentum was stopped, but they gave Cincinnati a TD. -Mohamed Massaquoi's big play to the 1 yardline - That looked like a TD to me. -Graham's FG - I still think it was no good. And these calls are just from this past week alone, and are simply off the top of my head! Pathetic!

How about both systems have their pros and cons? I own both (all 3 actually), but like both the PS3 and 360 pretty much equally. I like the power and massive disc storage capabilities (a la MGS4) of the PS3, and future titles such as God of War 3, GT5, Twisted Metal, etc. But I bought a cheap Xbox 360 Arcade because the 360 is what most of my friends have and use, and Xbox Live is far superior to PSN. Perhaps some features that one person likes, another doesn't really care for. Who cares "which console is better?" I'd rather have a few to choose from than one console that costs like $900. They are both GREAT consoles.

I couldn't agree more. Any computer from Apple is a complete rip-off. Seriously, all it takes is COMMON SENSE to not get a virus. I've had a PC since I was 7 (including the family PC) and HAVE YET to get a virus...

^^I like my Arcade with the Jasper chipset, and think it runs EXTREMELY cool. I've yet to even encounter a hiccup with it. *knocks on wood* ^^^That sucks that the 3 year warranty didn't cover yours and you had to shell out the $150. Yeah, it's actually a genius move by Microsoft. People will still buy it just because of the name, and if it's less than $60, that's a lot of money they'd be missing out on.
